179: Chapter 179 Little Zhao is back.

At ten in the morning, Su Ye returned home from the gym early, as he had plans for the afternoon.

Su Ye, having just showered and changed into casual clothes, was drying his damp hair when a knock at the door echoed. Su Ye paused, his hand still holding the towel, feeling puzzled. Who would be knocking on his door? After all, this apartment complex had a one-elevator-one-unit layout, so he didn't really have any close neighbors. Even if an acquaintance were coming, they would usually call first.

As it turned out, looking through the door monitor, Su Ye saw the figure of Zhao Sihan. Her outfit today was in a mature, sophisticated, "big sister" style.

She wore a navy blue wool coat from the Gucci Pre-Fall collection over a white thin knit sweater, with wine-red silk detailing on the lapels. Below, she paired it with Prada stretch woven high-waisted straight-leg trousers, which accentuated her leg shape while exposing her slender ankles. On her feet, she wore black Prada German army trainers.

A Gucci 18K gold horsebit bracelet adorned her slender, strong left wrist, layered with a thin silver chain watch. On her left ring finger, she wore a ring from the Gucci Interlocking collection.

She was sneaking around, hiding to the left of the door, completely unaware that the camera at Su Ye's entrance had a full view of the entire blind spot. With her hands raised by her ears, a triumphant smile already plastered on her face, anticipating the success of her prank.

Su Ye was just about to use the intercom to expose Zhao Sihan's prank, but then, a thought occurred to him. His lips curled slightly, and he decided to pretend he knew nothing, opening the door.

"Wow! Old Su, surprise!"

Zhao Sihan jumped out from the left side of the door, hands raised high, a brilliant smile on her face.

Su Ye pretended to be startled, then patted his chest as if still shaken, looking at Zhao Sihan with pleasant surprise as he asked, "Aren't you traveling outside?"

Zhao Sihan giggled, reached out her right hand to pat Su Ye's shoulder, and walked into the room. "Hey, Old Su, I knew you were back, so I changed my schedule at the last minute and rushed back overnight last night. How about that? Am I good to you or what?"

After changing into slippers, Zhao Sihan turned and jumped onto Su Ye, wrapping her fair arms around his neck. "You should know that for your sake, I abandoned all my good girlfriends. They all say I've got a man and forgot my friends; I've taken quite a bit of flak for this."

"You have to compensate me, Old Su."

Su Ye supported Zhao Sihan's voluptuous hips with one hand and closed the door with the other, asking with a smile, "How do you want me to compensate you?"

Zhao Sihan's charming big eyes rolled, then she hooked her right hand under Su Ye's chin and said, "Then pay me back with your body—"

Without hesitation, Su Ye turned and carried Zhao Sihan toward the bedroom. Before long, sounds of intimacy drifted from the bedroom—

An hour and a half later, Zhao Sihan lay flushed on Su Ye's chest, listening to his strong heartbeat, feeling an immense sense of peace in her heart.

Suddenly, Zhao Sihan remembered something and propped herself up with her hands, revealing her beautiful figure. "By the way, Old Su, why are you back so early today? I remember you either rest at home in the morning or train until noon before coming back. What's up? Are you going on a date with one of my sisters? If so, I can't exactly ignore the rules."

Su Ye looked at the serious-faced Classmate Xiao Zhao with amusement, reaching out to pinch her smooth cheek. "You're so concerned with rules? What rules?"

Seeing Su Ye questioning her, Classmate Xiao Zhao sat cross-legged, wrapped in the quilt, and held up her right index finger with a serious expression. "The rules of the underworld: one mountain cannot hold two tigers unless one is male and one is female. When two tigers fight, one is bound to get hurt, and we can't make things difficult for you, right? Besides, I, Classmate Xiao Zhao, have at least that much grace! My family's old mountain gun said this is called 'courtesy before arms.' We stand on the side of reason first, and then if we have to use weapons, we won't hesitate."

Su Ye was a bit confused by Classmate Xiao Zhao's words. Is that what 'courtesy before arms' means? He shook his head to clear out some of the evil cultivation concepts and then said, "That's not it at all. It's just that two old brothers invited me out today, so I came back early to tidy up and rest for a bit."

Classmate Xiao Zhao tilted her head and looked at Su Ye. "What time did you agree on?"

"Two-thirty in the afternoon."

Classmate Xiao Zhao grabbed the phone from the bedside, checked the time, and then slapped Su Ye on the stomach. "Oh my god, why didn't you say so earlier? It's already twelve o'clock. Get up quickly! I'm going to take a shower first; we can do that stuff anytime. You order some takeout first. I'll be quick. Once I'm done, you go rinse off too—you're covered in sweat."

After saying this, Classmate Xiao Zhao grabbed her clothes and hurriedly trotted toward the bathroom in her slippers. Su Ye watched her disappearing back, thought for a moment, and muttered to himself, "Didn't you ask me to compensate you as soon as you got back???"

But immediately, he shook his head with a laugh, took out his phone, and sent a message to the owner of his regular private kitchen restaurant to order a few dishes and have them delivered. By one o'clock in the afternoon, Su Ye was dragged out of the house by Classmate Xiao Zhao.

As Su Ye started the car, he said with a wry smile, "Honestly, there's no need for us to be in such a rush. It's two-thirty, and it only takes forty or fifty minutes to drive there. There's no traffic today, either." Zhao Sihan looked at Su Ye with a grin and said nothing, so Su Ye could only drive toward the District.

Su Ye had never heard of the Golden Knight Equestrian Club in Chengdu before; after all, he was just a small fry back then. There was an equestrian club in his hometown, Chang City, that Su Ye had visited once, but it was purely a scam—just a few hundred square meters fenced off with railings, housing a few very ordinary horses. The activity consisted of you sitting on a horse while someone led you around the ring on a rope. That was it, and they charged three hundred yuan for fifteen minutes. At the time, Su Ye had turned around and left without a moment's hesitation.

However, the Golden Knight Equestrian Club in Chengdu was undoubtedly a legitimate equestrian club. Located in the District, it regularly hosted International Equestrian Super League events, covering competitions from 30cm to 145cm.

The club also offered private horse boarding, professional coaching, and high-end equestrian-themed social events, such as champagne tastings and equestrian-themed charity galas, which were favored by many in the petite-bourgeoisie and young wealthy circles.

The club owned over 80 horses, including imported warmbloods, Arabia horses, and improved domestic breeds. The 145cm competition horses were all internationally certified, with each horse valued at over one million yuan. This was not something those fake "equestrian clubs" could compare with.

Of course, this was a membership-based club. Even the lowest tier, the Silver Card membership, required an annual fee of 30,000 yuan—equivalent to more than half a year's salary for an average white-collar worker in Chengdu. Above that were the Gold and Diamond memberships; the threshold was quite high.
