19: Chapter 19 Jiang Bai

"Don't you want to make money?"

Facing Su Ye's eyes, which grew deeper in the darkness, Marketing Manager nodded, then shook his head.

"I want to make money, but I don't want to make it just once; I want to make it many times."

Su Ye nodded, then waved his hand.

"Go ahead, just follow the order I arranged. My name is Su Ye, and this one next to me is Li Yi. Let's scan WeChat; I'll look for you again if there's an opportunity."

Marketing Manager quickly said, "Thank you, Young Master Su, Young Master Li."

"Would you two like me to find a couple of young ladies from the atmosphere team to keep you company? It's livelier with more people."

Su Ye looked at Li Yi. It was worth noting that although Li Yi looked a bit effeminate, he loved hanging around groups of girls. Back in college, Li Yi had used this external condition to find countless girlfriends—first becoming their bestie, then ending up in bed with them.

But to Su Ye's surprise, Li Yi actually shook his head.

After waving for Marketing Manager to go make the arrangements, Su Ye asked with a hint of suspicion, "Sister-in-law, you wouldn't happen to be..."

"Smack!"

"You damn idiot, I don't know what goes through that head of yours all day. Don't worry, even if you turn gay, I won't, and even if I did, I wouldn't come looking for you."

Li Yi slapped Su Ye on the arm again. Su Ye looked at both his arms—great, now they were symmetrical. Still, it was a relief that Li Yi wasn't gay. He didn't discriminate, but he certainly didn't want that attention directed at himself.

"Then you don't want any girls? You should know that back in college, you loved running to the nursing department the most."

Li Yi rolled his eyes, then took out his phone, which had a Stitch sticker on it, and said while typing a message:

"It's too chaotic here; I don't know how to find anyone myself. Later, have that Liu—Marketing Manager—add some more alcohol. Just the standard 'Power Train' set is fine. Seriously, you have money to burn, I don't know why you're ordering such expensive packages."

Su Ye watched Li Yi intently. He saw Li Yi send a few messages on his phone, and after just two minutes, Li Yi said:

"Alright, three girls are coming over in a bit. Let me tell you, don't touch the one who looks super cute—you'll know it when you see her. The other two are her besties; I won't say much about their quality, but I think they're pretty good."

At this moment, Su Ye could only give Li Yi a thumbs up: "Sister-in-law, it's a real shame you didn't become a pimp."

Li Yi crossed his legs and glared at Su Ye: "Get lost."

Marketing Manager moved quickly. In less than ten minutes, he returned with three girls dressed as bunny girls carrying a special drink tray, followed by three waiters in suits.

Marketing Manager walked up to Su Ye and said in a low voice, "Young Master Su, which of these drinks should I open first?"

Su Ye thought for a moment and said, "How about this: don't open them yet. I have a few more friends coming over later. Go order three more 'Power Train' sets, then bring some fruit and snacks. Once you see people arrive at my table, bring over some ice balls."

As he spoke, Su Ye took out his bank card and handed it to Marketing Manager to swipe. This was the rule; logically, Marketing Manager should swipe the card before bringing the drinks, but Marketing Manager had brought the drinks first. This undoubtedly made Su Ye feel comfortable, so naturally, he wouldn't make things difficult for Marketing Manager.

Marketing Manager nodded. He didn't rush to swipe the card; instead, he gave a few instructions to the waiters behind him before swiping it.

"Oh right, come over for a drink later."

Su Ye's words stunned Marketing Manager, who then nodded heavily. Under what circumstances would a nightclub invite a marketer to drink? Usually, only acquaintances were invited. Marketing Manager hadn't expected these two, who looked like they were worth a fortune, to invite him for a drink.

Seeing Marketing Manager's figure disappear into the crowd, Su Ye and Li Yi each cracked open a can of Budweiser and started chatting idly. After all, others hadn't arrived yet, and they hadn't really gotten into the club vibe yet.

Half an hour later, Li Yi, having sharp eyes, spotted three figures who had just entered the bar. He immediately stood up and walked over, and before long, he brought back three girls.

Su Ye took a quick look at the three of them. One girl had a baby-faced look and was dressed in a Lolita style; she could be rated an 85. Su Ye instantly determined that this was definitely Li Yi's type; he loved this kind of girl.

The other two girls: one had a mature style. She looked to be at least 1.75 meters tall, wearing tight jeans that outlined her beautiful curves, with a pair of long legs that were killer. On her upper body, she wore a white knotted shirt with a white bandeau camisole underneath, her magnificent chest practically bursting out.

She had a standard diamond-shaped face, long wavy hair draped over her shoulders, and slender eyes that seemed to carry a hint of allure at all times. Her nose bridge was as straight as a mountain ridge, and her thin lips were painted with reddish-brown lipstick. She looked a bit like Jiang Shuying—definitely a great beauty, easily a 90+ rating.

As for the last one, Su Ye decided she wasn't his type. Although she was quite good-looking and had an androgynous style, unfortunately, she was an 'A-cup'. Su Ye had never been interested in that kind of figure.

Li Yi first introduced them to the three: "This is Su Ye, my best brother."

Then he looked at Su Ye and introduced them one by one. The baby-faced girl shared the same surname as Su Ye and was named Su Anan—the name suited her appearance very well. The other cute girl was named Li Qing, and the last one, the mature beauty Su Ye liked, was named Jiang Bai.

Su Anan curiously sized up Su Ye. She had been with Li Yi for a full half-year, holding the record for Li Yi's longest-lasting girlfriend. During this time, she had met many of Li Yi's friends. Knowing that every single one of them had been evaluated by Li Yi as a 'brother,' she couldn't help but be curious now that a 'best brother' of Li Yi's had suddenly popped up.

However, after looking Su Ye up and down, Su Anan discovered that although Su Ye was very handsome and had a pretty good build, his clothes were very ordinary. There were no logos on them, and the material was quite average—it looked like something from Pinduoduo. He didn't have anything on him that signaled status, and he didn't look like he was in the government system. Yet, he had an inexplicable air of confidence, which left Su Anan very confused about where Su Ye's confidence came from.

Although it was strange, Su Anan still greeted Su Ye warmly. After all, she loved Li Yi to the bone—a fact Su Ye believed, otherwise she wouldn't have been able to endure Li Yi's temper for half a year.

"Hello, big brother, my name is Su Anan. It's nice to meet you."

Next was Li Qing. Despite her small chest, she spoke with a bit of a cocky attitude: "Hello, brother, my name is Li Qing. Take care of me in the future. If you go to the Shenshu Courtyard area to hang out, just say the word, and I'll handle the arrangements."

Finally, it was the mature Jiang Bai. She looked at Su Ye with a hint of interest in her eyes and said generously: "Hello, my name is Jiang Bai. 'Jiang' as in Yangtze River, 'Bai' as in the color white."
