115: This weapon master is not very good. He even cuts himself while cutting meat!

The gray mist dissipated, and the sky returned to clarity.

The Skull Island that had lingered deep in their memories like a persistent nightmare, along with the Eye of Chaos that brought endless terror, had all completely turned into the dust of history.

It was as if they had never existed in this sky.

The Natural Selection floated silently, four-colored divine light flowing across its hull, like a deity who had finished inspecting its territory and was about to embark on a long journey.

Inside the Bridge, there was a deathly silence.

Gu Zhixia and Gu Nianqiu were still immersed in the immense shock brought by that world-shattering, yet silent, strike.

That was a terrifying existence that had once made them restless.

It was an unremovable thorn in their hearts.

Now, however, Lin Mo had casually wiped it out with a single shot.

“Is it… over?”

Gu Zhixia murmured to herself, her voice carrying a sense of unreality she hadn’t even noticed.

She felt like she was dreaming, a satisfying yet utterly unreal dream of revenge.

“The old score is settled.”

Lin Mo shut down the weapon system and rose from the commander’s chair.

He leaned back against the chair, his body completely relaxed, his gaze passing through the massive panoramic viewport, looking out at the new sea that led to an unknown distance.

All threats in the Initial Sea Area had been cleared.

This formerNovice Village (newbie village), now for them, was like an empty map with all theDungeon Monsters (dungeon monsters) cleared, no longer holding any value for exploration.

“Now, we can go see what lies beyond this ‘Colosseum’.”

Lin Mo’s voice was calm, yet it carried a certainty of embarking on a new journey.

“Wait a minute!”

Gu Nianqiu suddenly raised her Little Hand high, like an eager student in class.

Both Lin Mo and Gu Zhixia’s gazes turned to her.

“Before we set off,” the Little Girl announced seriously, even with a hint of sacred ritual, “we should hold the most, most, most luxurious celebration feast ever!”

She counted on her fair, tender fingers, listing them off:

“To celebrate us defeating the World Tree! Defeating that big monster! Defeating the fire-breathing dragon! And just now… um, that big eyeball!”

“Most importantly, to celebrate our new home, becoming so powerful!”

She spread her arms, embracing the air, as if to hug this reborn battleship, her beautiful big eyes sparkling with the brilliant starlight named “happiness.”

Watching her innocent and charming appearance, a helpless yet doting smile couldn’t help but appear on Gu Zhixia’s beautiful face, which usually carried an air of aloofness and pride.

Lin Mo also smiled.

He knew this wasn’t just about the Little Girl craving food.

It was more like a farewell.

A most thorough farewell to this Initial Sea Area that had borne their humiliation, revenge, growth, and rebirth.

“I agree.” Lin Mo nodded, “Today, we won’t talk about battles, we won’t talk about long voyages, we’ll just celebrate.”

“Oh yeah! Long live Brother Mo!”

Gu Nianqiu let out a cheer, like a joyful butterfly, and was the first to rush towards the “Gods Workshop” kitchen area, which after its upgrade, was comparable to a divine imperial kitchen.

“Hmph, all she thinks about is eating.”

Gu Zhixia grumbled, but her body honestly followed, her long, straight legs moving swiftly, clearly also looking forward to this feast.

Lin Mo shook his head, following behind them.

This must be what the feeling of home is like… The kitchen area of the “Gods Workshop” was simply a gourmet’s paradise.

There was no greasy smoke or noise of a traditional kitchen, only soft lighting and immaculate cleanliness.

In the central ingredient storage, various rare ingredients they had collected along the way were meticulously categorized, from the fruits of the World Tree to the tender meat of deep-sea behemoths, everything imaginable.

“Today’s main dish will be ‘Molten Heart’ made from the heart of a Crystal Prison Burst-Neck Dragon!”

Gu Nianqiu tied on her cute lace apron, hands on her hips, like a grand general strategizing, enthusiastically assigning tasks.

“Sister, your knife skills are the best, you’re in charge of slicing this dragon meat into thin pieces, as thin as paper!”

She pushed a piece of dark red dragon meat, half a person tall and still faintly warm, in front of Gu Zhixia.

“Brother Mo, you’re strong, go deal with the tentacles of that ‘Deep-Sea Giant Squid’!”

“As for me,” the Little Girl puffed out her chest proudly, “I’ll be in charge of the most important things: mixing the sauces and controlling the heat!”

“Slicing meat?”

Gu Zhixia raised an eyebrow, her hands, which always held a particle rifle, now picked up a gleaming chef’s knife made of special alloy.

She weighed it, a confident curve playing on her lips.

It’s just cutting things, isn’t it?

She could precisely cut a mecha’s armor down to millimeter-level.

Could a mere piece of meat really stump her?

However, five minutes later…

“Ouch!”

A suppressed cry of pain, accompanied by a crisp clang, broke the harmonious atmosphere in the kitchen.

Lin Mo and Gu Nianqiu looked over at the sound.

They saw Gu Zhixia frowning, her left hand held to her chest, a drop of crimson blood slowly oozing from the tip of her fair, jade-like index finger.

The blood drop fell onto the mirror-smooth floor, blossoming into a tiny red plum.

And the chef’s knife lay forlornly at her feet.

On the cutting board in front of her, the huge piece of dragon meat had been hacked into an unrecognizable, pitted mess, let alone thin slices, there wasn’t even a complete piece.

“Sister! Are you alright?!”

Gu Nianqiu was the first to rush over, grabbing her sister’s hand, and seeing the wound, which though not large, was quite deep, her eyes reddened with distress.

“I’m fine.”

Gu Zhixia’s pretty face flushed crimson, feeling both embarrassed and annoyed.

She couldn’t understand it.

Why was this small chef’s knife harder to control than that hundred-pound particle rifle?

Why was this soft piece of dragon meat harder to deal with than the armor of those mythical BOSSes?

She had just tried to cut with the precision of dissecting a mecha, but her muscle memory, accustomed to cutting through everything, made her instinctively apply too much force, and the blade instantly lost control, slicing her finger.

This was an utter humiliation for her as a “Weapon Master”!

“Don’t move.”

Lin Mo’s steady voice rang out.

He put down the half-processed squid tentacles, walked over, and without a word, pulled her wrist before Gu Zhixia could react.

“Come with me.”

“I said I’m fine! It’s just a small cut…”

Gu Zhixia instinctively tried to pull away, but found Lin Mo’s palm wide and strong, like a hot iron clamp, giving her no room to resist.

A strange, somewhat domineering warmth emanated from her wrist, instantly spreading throughout her body.

Her heart skipped a beat.

The rest of her words were all stuck in her throat.
