162: The devil descends upon the safe haven! He kills instantly with one punch, and the whole crowd kneels in awe!

A burly, bald man with a scarred face stood up, grumbling.

Half of his face was covered by gruesome burn scars.

He was the “manager” of this area, a small-time boss of an infamous Scavenger named “Butcher.”

A few of his subordinates also stood up with sneers, grabbing wrenches, crowbars, and other “tools” in their hands.

Here, dealing with “newcomers who didn’t understand the rules” was one of their favorite pastimes.

However.

When they looked up and saw the two uninvited guests slowly descending into the center of the berth, everyone’s movements froze.

The air, as if sucked out at this moment, instantly solidified.

The noisy curses and gambling sounds from a second ago abruptly ceased.

Dead silence.

Everyone’s eyes were fixed on the two mechs that had just landed.

One was silver-blue all over, with sleek and elegant lines, full of extreme speed and explosive power.

Fine electric sparks occasionally flickered on its surface, like a nimble leopard from the depths of a thundercloud.

Although it looked extremely dangerous, it was still within their comprehensible range.

But the other one… that wasn’t a mech at all.

It was a pitch-black demon god that walked out of the abyss, making one’s soul tremble!

It was as black as ink, as if forged from the deepest dark matter in the universe, even the surrounding light was greedily devoured by it, forming eerie distortions at the edges of its armor.

Its design had no superfluous decorations.

Every angle, every inch of armor, revealed a pure, ultimate, cruel aesthetic born for slaughter.

The demon god stood there silently, making no movements.

But the terrifying, almost palpable pressure emanating from within its body was like an invisible mountain, heavily pressing down on the hearts of everyone present!

Everyone present felt their breathing become incredibly difficult.

Just then, the black demon god slowly lit up its eyes.

They were a pair of dark golden pupils, like reflections of stellar destruction!

Cold, dead silent, devoid of any emotion.

Just being swept by those eyes made one feel a primal fear from the deepest part of Life, as if one’s soul and body were completely seen through and about to be crushed into powder!

“What… what the hell is this…?”

A more timid subordinate’s legs went soft, and the wrench in his hand clattered to the ground.

The sound was particularly jarring in the dead silence.

A layer of cold sweat, as big as beans, instantly seeped from Butcher’s forehead.

His brain screamed frantically in fear.

As someone who had made a name for himself in a place like Safe Harbor, he was no fool.

He knew very well what kind of existence he absolutely, absolutely could not provoke!

These two mechs, especially the black one, had undoubtedly far exceeded the limits of his comprehension!

However, just as he was about to force a smile uglier than crying and step forward to say a few pleasantries.

A drunken, muddle-headed subordinate next to him was attracted by the silver-blue “Thunder Dragon.”

“Bo… Boss… look at that blue one, it’s f*cking beautiful…” He licked his chapped lips, a greedy glint in his eyes, “If… if we could snatch it…”

“Shut up! You idiot!”

Butcher’s warning hadn’t finished.

An unexpected change suddenly occurred!

The subordinate, still dreaming of getting rich, hadn’t even finished his sentence.

The silver-blue mech, which had been standing quietly, moved.

No one saw its movements clearly.

Only a silver-blue afterimage tearing through the air was captured on the retina.

Flashed past!

Bang!!!

A muffled, utterly bone-jarring, enormous sound!

The subordinate who had just been speaking didn’t even have time to scream. His entire body exploded into a cloud of blood mist, like a tomato hit head-on by a high-speed truck!

And where he had been standing, on the ultra-strength alloy-paved ground of the berth, a terrifying fist print half a meter deep and with edges as smooth as a mirror was left behind!

Wreaths of smoke still rose around the fist print.

The “Thunder Dragon” slowly retracted its fist and returned to its original position, as if it had just crushed a bug.

There was not a trace of blood on its silver-blue fist.

Extreme high temperature and kinetic energy had already completely vaporized everything the moment it hit the target.

Inside the cockpit, Gu Zhixia looked at the rapidly dissipating blood mist on the screen, her cool face showing no ripples of emotion.

She merely said faintly into the communication channel.

“Noisy.”

The resentment accumulated from being tormented by “Yan Luo” in the simulator for these seven days seemed to have finally found an insignificant outlet.

The entire berth hall was so silent that one could hear each other’s heartbeats.

The remaining Scavengers, looking at the fist print on the ground and the unrecognizable mass of flesh and blood, all turned pale as paper, their legs trembling like sieves.

Butcher felt a chill shoot straight from his tailbone to the crown of his head!

He had no doubt that if that punch had landed on him… He spun around abruptly and, with all his strength, let out a hysterical roar at his subordinates, who were already scared stiff.

“Are you all f*cking blind?!!!”

“Distinguished guests! Two distinguished guests have arrived!!!”

“Hurry up and bring out your best wine, your cleanest chairs, all of it, right now!!!”

As he roared, he scrambled and stumbled to the front of the two mechs.

With a “thump”!

He neatly prostrated himself, kneeling down.

He pressed his forehead firmly against the cold, oil-stained ground, and in a trembling, tearful voice, full of extreme humility and fear, he said:

“My Lords… This humble one was blind and offended you two…”

“Please… please spare this dog’s Life, My Lords!”

The rules of Safe Harbor were simple.

Now, these two Lords would set them.

Butcher’s kneel was like the first domino falling.

His subordinates behind him, who had long been terrified, awoke as if from a dream, one by one falling to their knees with “thumps,” imitating their boss, burying their heads low, not even daring to breathe loudly.

The entire C-7 berth, in a mere few tens of seconds, transformed from a noisy, chaotic gathering place for desperadoes into an eerily atmospheric pilgrimage site welcoming the arrival of demon gods.

However, the two mechs were indifferent to this sight.

They stood like two emotionless steel statues, their invisible pressure making these Scavengers, who usually feared nothing, feel as if their hearts were about to burst.

Inside the “Thunder Dragon” cockpit, Gu Zhixia looked at the group of kneeling, begging figures on the screen, a cold sneer playing on her lips.

A pack of jackals that prey on the weak and fear the strong.

This was the truest depiction of the law of the jungle.

When your fangs are sharper than theirs, and your claws more lethal, they will unhesitatingly expose their soft underbellies to you.

“Get up.”

A calm, emotionless, electronically synthesized voice emanated from the black “Yan Luo” mech.

The voice was not loud, yet it exploded like a thunderclap in everyone’s ears.

Butcher trembled all over, as if granted a great pardon, yet he dared not rise immediately. He merely cautiously raised his head, using the corner of his eye to steal a glance at the terrifying black demon god.

“I need a guide.”

Lin Mo’s voice was direct, without any unnecessary words.

“Someone who knows the internal routes of the Eye of the Storm best.”

His voice paused, like a final judgment.

“Price is not an issue.”
