131: God's Wrath! Brother Mo's Fireworks Show!

The wall of projectiles, stretching between the "asura" and the thunder dragon mecha, was thick, dense, and exuded an undeniable aura of destruction.

Anything attempting to pass through it would instantly be torn into its most basic particles.

This was The Vulture's overt scheme.

He used Gu Zhixia as bait, forcing Lin Mo to come to her rescue, then used this deadly chasm to completely separate them.

He wanted that black god of slaughter to watch his companion be captured, utterly powerless.

He wanted to savor the ugly sight of his prey's will being slowly ground down by despair and fury.

"Naive."

Inside the "asura" mecha's cockpit, Lin Mo looked at the firepower network, enough to make any fleet despair. His crimson electronic eyes flashed, and he uttered two words.

The next second, he made a move that caused The Vulture's pupils to contract sharply.

Not only did the "asura" mecha not slow down, but it pushed the power of its demon wing thrusters to the extreme!

The space around the mecha began to visibly and violently distort due to the terrifying energy output!

"Short-range spatial jump, initiating."

Hum—!

A strange buzzing sound, as if from another dimension, rang out.

The "asura"'s massive and ferocious black body suddenly became ethereal a second before hitting the projectile wall, like a drop of ink in water, rapidly stretching, distorting, and then vanishing into thin air!

"Disappeared?!"

The Vulture shot up from his commander's chair, his usually impassive face showing a ghostly expression for the first time.

The next instant, on the other side of that projectile wall!

Right next to the helplessly tumbling blue thunder dragon mecha, space was violently torn open by a brute force, creating a pitch-black rift!

The "asura"'s figure, carrying lingering spatial ripples, burst out from within!

This was not conventional flight at all!

This was a dimension-reducing strike, disregarding distance and obstacles!

Its massive black body, like a descending black mountain, precisely blocked several pursuinggunfire, creating an absolutely safe zone for the disabled thunder dragon mecha behind it.

Circles of powerless energy ripples splashed against its thick, dark gold armor, yet failed to leave even a single scratch.

"Hold tight."

Lin Mo's cold voice, transmitted through a point-to-point private channel, directly sounded in Gu Zhixia's cockpit.

Gu Zhixia was anxiously trying to restart the system. Hearing this familiar voice, her body stiffened abruptly.

She looked up, through the partially restored view of the cockpit's viewport, and saw that mountain-like reliable black silhouette.

A mix of emotions—the reluctance of being rescued, the relief of escaping danger, and a hint of reassurance she hadn't even noticed herself—instantly surged through her heart.

"Who asked you to meddle!"

She still spoke sharply, but her hands, which had been tightly gripping the control stick, knuckles white, unconsciously relaxed a little.

Lin Mo did not waste words with her.

The "asura" mecha extended its massive steel arm, grabbing the thunder dragon mecha's slender body, and held it firmly in its embrace with an unyielding, domineering posture.

Immediately after, the spatial jump initiated again!

Before Vulture Fleet's tightening encirclement could close, the two mechas' figures once again transformed into a distorted phantom, vanishing from their original position.

When they reappeared, they were already back beside Fafnir's massive dragon head, out of range of all warships.

"Damn it! Damn it! Damn it!"

The Vulture slammed his fist onto the control panel, which groaned in protest.

His meticulously planned trap, his self-proclaimed perfect hunt, had become a complete joke in the face of the opponent's utterly unreasonable mobility!

"Boss was right... we're not dealing with a novice at all..."

A deep sense of powerlessness, for the first time, enveloped his heart.

However, the battle was far from over.

Lin Mo, having left the battlefield, did not choose to immediately return to the mothership.

He gently placed Gu Zhixia's mecha on Fafnir's broad back, then connected to the Bridge of the Natural Selection.

On the screen, Gu Nianqiu's small face, smudged with cream and full of worry, immediately appeared.

"Brother Mo! Sister! Are you two okay?!"

"I'm fine." Lin Mo's voice returned to calm, even carrying a hint of soothing tenderness, "There were too many bad guys just now, Sister couldn't handle them all by herself, so I went to help her out."

"Hmph! Those bad guys are so annoying!" Gu Nianqiu immediately puffed out her cheeks, waving her small fists.

"So," Lin Mo's tone shifted, becoming like someone enticing a child to a grand celebration, "how about we set off a bigger, more beautiful fireworks display to scare them all away?"

"Fireworks?!"

Gu Nianqiu's eyes instantly lit up, all her worries cast to the winds, her big eyes sparkling with excitement.

"Yes, yes! I want to see fireworks!"

"Do you see that biggest, reddest, glowing button in front of you?"

"Uh-huh! I see it!" Gu Nianqiu nodded her small head vigorously, her gaze firmly fixed on the red button in the center of the main console, specially marked and full of "press me, press me" temptation.

"Wait a moment, listen for my command, and then press it down with all your might."

"Okay!"

Lin Mo ended the communication.

His crimson electronic eyes coldly gazed at Vulture Fleet in the distance, whose formation was slightly chaotic due to the failed hunt.

The Vulture also seemed to realize the danger. He was rapidly reorganizing the fleet, attempting to form a final defensive formation.

But it was too late.

"Now." Lin Mo's voice was like the whisper of the Grim Reaper.

"Oh oh oh!"

In the Bridge, Gu Nianqiu let out a cheer, leaping from her chair. With a "representing the moon, I'll punish you" aura, she clasped her hands together and, with all her strength, slammed down onto that red button!

"Fireworks! Launch—!!!"

Hum—

Hundreds of thousands of hidden launch ports silently slid open on the Natural Selection's mirror-smooth hull at the same time.

The next second.

Thousands of myth-grade tracking missiles, trailing eerie blue exhaust plumes, like a swarm of vengeful wasps from hell, surged out from those launch ports, covering the sky!

Myth-grade tracking missile array, full salvo, launched!

The moment these missiles exited their launchers, they immediately entered a brief spatial jump state.

They would disappear on the left side of the battlefield, then reappear at a tricky angle on the right, their flight paths bizarre and unpredictable, completely disregarding physical laws, making them impossible to lock onto by any conventional fire control radar!

"Warning! Warning! Large numbers of un-lockable ghost signals detected approaching at high speed!"

"Targets are performing spatial jumps! Our fire control system is completely jammed!"

"Intercept! Quick, intercept! They're coming! Ah—!"

Vulture Fleet's public communication channel was instantly drowned out by piercing alarms and the terrified, desperate screams of the crew.

Those ghostly missiles easily bypassed their hastily formed interception firepower network.

Like a swarm of bloodthirsty piranhas, they lunged at every warship of the Ninth Fleet!

Each missile locked onto a single ship.

This was a saturated destruction, with no blind spots!

"Dive! All ships! Emergency dive immediately!"

The Vulture watched the deathly light points spreading like a plague across the radar screen, issuing the most desperate and powerless command of his career.

Their only path to survival lay in the turbulent, pitch-black deep sea below!

If they could dive, they might still have a glimmer of hope!

All surviving Black Sail warships, like ants whose nest had been disturbed, frantically turned their bows and plunged into the sea, kicking up towering splashes.

However, how could Lin Mo give them this chance?

"Trying to run?"

A cold sneer flashed in the "asura" mecha's crimson electronic eyes.

He connected his consciousness to the ancient giant dragon, which had served only as a mobilefort and mount from beginning to end.

"Fafnir."

His voice was cold and majestic, like the final judgment of a deity.

"Let them witness... what true annihilation means."
