127: Ignore defense! This drop of water can wipe out everything in the world!

Weapon Description: Fires a water droplet. The water droplet is made of strong interaction force material, with infinite durability. Note: This attack ignores all forms of energy shields and physical defense. It cannot be blocked, it cannot be evaded.

Lin Mo’s gaze was fixed on the cold descriptive text.

Every word was like a heavy hammer, fiercely striking his understanding.

Strong interaction force.

Ignores all forms of energy shields and physical defense.

This wasn't a weapon.

This was a power only a god could possess!

Even with his steady temperament, his heart began to pound uncontrollably at this moment, the dull thudding echoing in his chest, clearly audible.

He reached out, his fingertips slowly, with an almost reverent caution, touching the cold cannon barrel.

The touch was hard and cold, yet it felt as if a power originating from the ultimate depths of the universe flowed from his fingertips, coursing through his entire body. That terrifying aura of law, capable of obliterating all things, still lingered on the cannon barrel.

With it, let alone two fleets, even if the entire “Leviathan” Guild came out, what could they do?

A sense of control and powerful confidence, capable of mastering everything, quietly germinated deep within his heart, rapidly filling every corner.

He stepped out of the core area and returned to the top-level observation deck.

Gu Zhixia was leaning against the railing.

The night sea breeze ruffled her dark, smooth hair, a few strands playfully brushing her fair cheek. Her usually cool, exquisite profile, illuminated by the myriad stars, appeared exceptionally soft.

She seemed to sense his arrival and turned her head.

“Done?”

“Mm.”

Lin Mo walked over to her side, and like her, leaned against the cool railing.

Neither of them spoke again.

They simply gazed silently at the Wall of Storms connecting heaven and earth in the distance, at the silver lightning snakes dancing wildly within the storm, and at the deep, boundless stars beyond.

Silence spread between them.

But this time, the silence held no awkwardness, no distance, only a shared tranquility of understanding.

“Lin Mo.”

Gu Zhixia suddenly spoke, her voice very soft, somewhat ethereal in the sea breeze, as if she were asking herself.

“Hm?”

“Have you… ever been afraid?”

Lin Mo was silent for a moment.

He turned and looked at her astonishingly bright phoenix eyes, reflecting the starlight, and suddenly smiled.

He reached out, gently tucking a strand of her hair, dishevelled by the sea breeze, behind her ear.

His fingertips inadvertently brushed her warm skin. That sudden intimate gesture made Gu Zhixia’s body stiffen slightly, and a faint blush quietly crept onto her earlobes.

“Perhaps before.”

Lin Mo’s voice was deep and gentle, exceptionally clear in the night wind.

“But now, with this ship, with you all here.”

“There’s nothing to be afraid of.”

Moments of tranquility are always as fleeting as morning dew.

Woo—!!!

A harsh alarm blared, tearing through the cozy atmosphere in the Bridge without warning, its sharp sound waves assaulting everyone’s eardrums.

Gu Nianqiu, who was battling the last piece of Victory cake, flinched, and white cream smeared her small nose, making her look like a mischievous kitten caught stealing food.

Gu Zhixia’s eyes, however, became as sharp as knives the moment the alarm sounded.

She instinctively pressed her right hand to the weapon slot at her waist, instantly switching from her relaxed state to a battle-ready posture.

Lin Mo’s expression remained unchanged. He calmly walked to the main console and brought up the tactical radar.

On the huge holographic radar screen, two massive fleet groups were rapidly converging on their coordinates from two directions, executing a standard pincer movement.

Each light dot represented a warship, densely packed, exuding a sense of oppression.

The fleet on the left had a formation like a drawn, incredibly sharp blade, full of undisguised aggression. Its flagship’s light dot was exceptionally large, a heavy assault ship with a fierce Iron Hammer symbol painted on its bow.

The fleet on the right had a more stable formation, like a vulture circling high in the sky, patiently waiting for its prey to expose a weakness. Deadly and calm. Its flagship was a longer bombardment ship, equipped with a large number of long-range cannons.

Leviathan Fifth Fleet, Commander “Iron Hammer.”

Leviathan Ninth Fleet, Commander “Vulture.”

Inside the Bridge of the “Iron Hammer,” the atmosphere was fervent and volatile. The burly, bear-like Commander Iron Hammer was laughing wildly, his thunderous laughter making the entire Bridge hum. His bearded face was etched with contempt and cruelty for his prey.

“Hahaha! Found you, little mouse! You took out that useless Old Seven, and now you think you’re hot stuff, huh?!” He grabbed the communicator in front of him with his fan-like hand, practically roaring into it, “Vulture! How are things on your side? Don’t let this fat meat delivered to our mouths slip away from your bird beak!”

After a crackle of static in the communicator, a somber and calm voice responded, speaking slowly, without a trace of emotional fluctuation, like a frozen lake in winter.

“Iron Hammer, cut out your boring provocations. The boss’s order is to capture him alive. Don’t break the toy.”

“Don’t worry!” Iron Hammer clapped his fan-like hand forcefully against his chest, which was thicker than an average person’s thigh, producing a dull thud like a drum, “I know what I’m doing! First, I’ll break his legs, then drag him back! The boss will definitely like it!”
