132: The final singularity! Welcome to the hunting grounds of God!
“Roar—!!!”
Fafnir, having received the command, let out a universe-shaking roar.
This roar was no longer mere intimidation.
It contained a primal and terrifying power oflaw (law).
Wherever the sound waves passed, even the sea surface seemed to be violently pressed down by an invisible giant hand, forming a visible, massive depression!
The Black Sail warships, desperately diving, were impacted by these sound waves, their hulls trembling violently, and their diving speed momentarily stalled.
Then, an even more hair-raising scene unfolded.
Fafnir opened its massive maw, large enough to easily swallow a cruiser.
But this time, what gathered deep in its throat was no longer golden divine fire.
Instead, it was a pure, absolute darkness, as if it could devour all light and hope.
That darkness rapidly compressed and spun in its throat.
Finally, it condensed into a fist-sized, pitch-black sphere, so dark that even its own light could not escape...
It hung there silently, emitting no light, no heat.
Yet, it made the surrounding space appear terrifyingly distorted, as if on the verge of collapse.
Singularity of Annihilation.
This was the closest attack to a “Divine Punishment” that Fafnir could unleash after integrating thelaw (law) of “End.”
It was not a simple energy attack, but a brutal, unreasonable rewriting of “space” and “existence” itself!
“Breath.”
Lin Mo's voice was like Death’s final verdict.
Fafnir’s huge maw thrust forward.
That small, inconspicuous black sphere was gently “breathed” out by it.
It had no astonishing speed, no brilliant trajectory.
It drifted slowly, like a casually discarded pebble, towards the center of the fleet, which was frantically diving below.
“What... what the hell is that?!”
Inside Vulture Fleet's flagship, the “Nighthawk,” an observer watched the bizarre black dot on the screen, his voice trembling violently from extreme fear.
“No energy reaction! No mass reaction! It’s just like... it’s like a dead pixel on the screen!”
The Vulture stared intently at the black dot.
A sense of deadly crisis, originating from the depths of his soul and countless times stronger than facing a water droplet, made all the hairs on his body stand on end!
He didn't know what it was.
But he knew it absolutely couldn't be allowed to get close!
“Main cannon! Fire! Blow it to smithereens!” he roared hysterically.
The “Nighthawk’s” bow main cannon unleashed a destructive beam towards the black dot, disregarding everything else.
However, that torrent of energy, capable of vaporizing a small island, vanished into thin air the moment it approached the black sphere, as if swallowed by an invisible giant maw, without even a ripple being stirred!
Attack, ineffective!
It was then that the black “Singularity” finally drifted to its predetermined position.
Then, it stopped.
The next second.
Hum—
The whole world seemed to have been muted.
No explosion.
No roar.
Only absolute silence.
Centered on that black sphere, a colossal gravitational force, whose terror no language could describe, erupted with a boom!
That was not gravity that warship engines could resist; it was black hole-like absolute gravity, capable of distorting light and tearing space apart!
“Ah—!”
“We’re being pulled back! Engines are overloading! Oh my god!”
“Hull structure is disintegrating! Help! Help me!”
The communication channel was instantly drowned in desperate screams and the piercing wails of twisting and breaking metal.
The warships that had already submerged below the sea surface, with only a small section of their sterns exposed, were dragged out of the water as if by an invisible giant hand, the seawater clinging to their hulls instantly vaporizing with a “hissing” sound.
They desperately pushed their engines to the limit, their sterns spewing dazzling, wailing flames, trying to escape the center of death.
However, all struggles were futile.
In the face of the “Singularity of Annihilation’s” brutal gravity, the thrust of the warship engines was as laughable as a child’s breath.
The closest few frigates were the first to be captured by that terrifying gravity.
Their hulls, like stretched noodles, were elongated, twisted, and torn in a manner that completely defied the laws of physics!
Heavy armor was stripped away, internal structures were ripped apart, and crew members, unable to even scream, were sucked into that tiny black dot, reduced to their most basic particles.
This was just the beginning.
The range of gravity expanded rapidly, soon engulfing the entire remnants of Ninth Fleet.
One after another, huge steel warships, like toy boats caught in a drain.
They were involuntarily dragged, pulled, screaming, circling, and plummeting towards that all-devouring dark center.
They collided with each other, their armor shattering.
They were pulled out of shape, their structures disintegrating.
Finally, they, along with the flashes of explosions, the wails of the crew, and all traces of their existence, were completely swallowed by that tiny, silent black sphere, vanishing into nothingness.
Inside the “Nighthawk’s” Bridge, The Vulture slumped in the commander’s chair, looking through the porthole at the hellish scene outside.
His fleet, his proud “Skynet,” was being “deleted” in a way he couldn't comprehend.
His usually cold and composed face finally completely broke down.
Fear, bewilderment, despair... all emotions intertwined, ultimately transforming into a miserable, almost relieved smile.
“Boss... I finally understand... why you asked us to ‘greet’ them...”
“Turns out... we... we were your pledge of allegiance to this new God...”
He closed his eyes.
The next second, the flagship “Nighthawk” was torn apart by an irresistible force, and his final murmur was completely swallowed by that ultimate darkness.
A few seconds later.
The black Singularity, having exhausted its energy, quietly dissipated.
On the sea surface, it was calm.
The once formidable and arrogant grand fleet, along with the towering waves they had stirred, had vanished without a trace.
No wreckage, no oil slick, not even a hint of gunpowder smoke.
As if they had never existed.
This sea area was cleaned spotlessly.
The “asura” and “Thunder Dragon” slowly landed on the Natural Selection’s spacious deck.
Bang!
Gu Zhixia jumped out of the cockpit, quickly walked to the “asura,” and without a word, slammed her fist hard on its thick chest armor, making a dull thud.
“Who told you to meddle? I could have killed them!”
She bit her lip, her eyes slightly red.
Her always cool phoenix eyes were now filled with complex emotions.
There was anger, unwillingness, but more, a sense of lingering fear and reliance that she herself was unwilling to admit.
Lin Mo opened the cockpit and looked at her outwardly strong but inwardly weak demeanor, saying nothing.
He just reached out his hand.
And gently, ruffled her head.
Gu Zhixia’s body stiffened, wanting to dodge, but ultimately she didn’t move.
She allowed that warm hand to soothe her turbulent emotions.
“Brother Mo! Sister!”
Gu Nianqiu’s cheerful voice came through the ship’s communication.
“The fireworks just now were so pretty! All dark, and they just sucked away all the bad guys! Can we do that again next time, okay?”
These innocent words instantly dispelled the slightly ambiguous and heavy atmosphere on the deck.
Gu Zhixia’s face flushed “whoosh.”
Like a cat whose tail had been stepped on, she abruptly slapped away Lin Mo’s hand and turned away somewhat awkwardly, leaving him only a pouting back.
Lin Mo chuckled softly, turning his gaze to the Wall of Storms in the distance, where lightning still flashed and thunder still roared.
Three fleets, completely annihilated.
This guild named Leviathan must have been completely alarmed.
But, it didn’t matter.
“From today on,” he murmured softly, his voice filled with undeniable confidence and dominance, “the rules of this hunting ground will be set by me.”
