80: Pool Party

Lin Mo put away the blueprints, a preliminary renovation plan already forming in his mind.

She had chosen a black, simple yet perfectly figure-hugging two-piece athletic swimsuit.

She hadn't entered the water, but merely sat by the poolside, her two long, straight legs immersed in the cool water, gently swaying unconsciously.

She watched her sister, who was going wild in the water, a gentle smile, one she hadn't even noticed herself, playing on her lips.

Hearing the door open, she instinctively turned her head.

When she saw Lin Mo, wearing only black swim trunks and exposing his muscular upper body, the smile on her face instantly froze.

The smooth lines of his pectoral muscles, the distinctly sculpted eight-pack abs, and the powerful muscle contours extending down to his V-line.

All of it delivered a powerful visual impact to her.

Gu Zhixia's face instantly flushed, and she sharply turned her head away, her heart beginning to race uncontrollably.

"Brother Mo, hurry up and come!"

Gu Nianqiu had none of her sister's complex thoughts; she excitedly waved at Lin Mo.

"The water here is so comfortable!"

Lin Mo smiled, took a step, walked down the stairs, and entered the warm pool water.

As soon as he stood firm, Gu Nianqiu transformed into a little mermaid, quickly swam over, scooped up a large handful of water, and without a word, splashed it at him.

Her clear laughter echoed in the spacious pool.

"You're dead!"

She no longer held back, plunging into the water like an enraged female leopard, launching a counterattack towards the culprit who was still giggling.

A chaotic water fight thus erupted.

Lin Mo, who had initially intended to stay out of it, was quickly drawn into the battle.

The two girls, with unprecedented tacit understanding, united and made him their sole target.

Water splashed everywhere, laughter and screams intertwined.

Lin Mo was quickly defeated, held underwater by the two girls, and made to drink several mouthfuls of pool water.

After playing, all three were a bit tired.

They turned their attention to the towering, super slide that almost seemed to pierce the dome.

He looked at Gu Zhixia, inquiring her opinion with his eyes.

Gu Zhixia snorted, turned her head, and mumbled softly.

"Childish."

But her body, however, honestly followed Lin Mo, walking together towards the slide's stairs.

As the three of them slid down the chute side-by-side, experiencing the thrill of weightlessness, a brilliant, heartfelt smile finally bloomed on Gu Zhixia's usually tense face.

When they were tired of playing, the three of them moved to the hot spring area on the other side.

Unlike the coolness of the swimming pool, this place offered a completely opposite warmth.

Misty white vapor rose from several pools constructed with natural rocks, making the surrounding scenery somewhat hazy.

The three chose the largest pool, leaning against the smooth pool walls, letting the warm, sulfur-scented spring water soak their tired bodies, every pore relaxing.
