4: Sisters Gu Zhixia and Gu Nianqiu

With the research on the flight module concluded, Lin Mo opened his personal attribute panel.

Player Information:

Name: Lin Mo

Occupation: None

Strength: 12

Agility: 7

Constitution: 7

Spirit: 8

Attack: 12

Defense: 10

Health Points: 700

(Tip: The average value for each attribute in a normal adult is 5; an excellent adult who has undergone systematic training can reach 10 points in a single attribute.)

(Attack and Defense are affected by Strength, Health Points are affected by Constitution.)

Lin Mo nodded slightly as he saw his Strength attribute.

A Strength of 12 already far exceeded that of ordinary people, which was thanks to him being a regular at the gym before he transmigrated; his well-defined muscles weren't for show.

Just then, Gu Nianqiu's slightly excited voice came from outside the cockpit:

"Brother Mo, come quickly, we found something good!"

Lin Mo walked out of the cockpit at the sound.

As soon as he came out, Gu Nianqiu bounced over like a cheerful little rabbit, grabbed his arm, and without a word, dragged him towards a compartment in the middle of the ship.

"Brother Mo, look! Here!"

This was a sizable storage room, currently emitting a faint chill. Various supplies were neatly stacked inside, including basic flour, rice, as well as frozen meats and vacuum-packed fruits and vegetables.

"As expected of an SSS-grade battleship, the initial supplies are so abundant!"

Gu Nianqiu's small face was flushed with excitement, and she surveyed the pile of supplies like a little hamster, her joy evident.

"With so much food, we'll never have to worry about going hungry again!"

Gu Zhixia, who had followed along, also had a flicker of shock and relief in her eyes upon seeing such ample supplies.

But she quickly calmed down, adjusted her gold-rimmed glasses, and spoke seriously to Lin Mo.

"Lin Mo, these are the assets of your personal battleship. Since we're a team, food can be shared, but we can't take it for free. The spoils we obtain later should naturally be prioritized for your use."

Her words were clear, expressing both her willingness for teamwork and her adherence to her principles and bottom line, not wanting to unilaterally take advantage.

Gu Nianqiu stuck out her tongue at this, tugging at her sister's sleeve and muttering softly, "Sister, you're being too formal. Brother Mo isn't a stingy person."

Lin Mo secretly chuckled as he watched Gu Zhixia's serious, business-like demeanor.

This sister, seemingly aloof, was actually maintaining the team's balance and self-respect in her own way.

He waved his hand, saying easily, "No need for such trouble. This is the pioneering phase; we're all in the same boat. There's plenty of food, but I only have one condition."

"What condition?" The sisters looked at him in unison.

Lin Mo's gaze fell on Gu Nianqiu, a smile playing on his lips: "Nianqiu, use your A-grade 'Master Chef' Talent to make us a sumptuous feast. Let me see what food with buffs tastes like."

"Huh? Is that all?" Gu Nianqiu was startled at first, then burst out laughing, her small face full of relief. "No problem! Leave it to me! My hands have been itching for a while!"

She happily spun around, then playfully winked at Lin Mo like a little cat seeking praise: "Brother Mo, just you wait, I promise you'll eat your tongue! Sister, come quickly and help me!"

With that, she cheerfully dragged the still somewhat dazed Gu Zhixia and scurried off to the kitchen, leaving behind a string of bell-like laughter.

Lin Mo watched their retreating figures, a smile unconsciously curving his lips.

One diligently maintained team rules, the other contributed value with her cooking skills; these sisters... were more interesting and reliable than he had imagined.

Afterward, Lin Mo took a tour of various parts of the ship.

Although it was the Natural Selection, it wasn't as large as he had imagined, which he estimated might be due to its lower level.

The overall cabin was divided into three floors: the first floor had a large deck plus several bedrooms. The second floor housed the kitchen, storage room, and navigation control room.

There was also a basement level, which contained an energy control center, an underground farm, and a breeding farm.

Each floor was approximately 200 square meters.

The fusion reactor in the energy control center was marked with gray text. Lin Mo observed this high-tech fusion reactor up close, a toroidal magnetic confinement device with a diameter of only about 10 meters, full of futuristic appeal.

The farm and breeding farm were also locked. Lin Mo decided that once he obtained seeds and young poultry, he could put them to use, thus having a self-sufficient food source.

System Notification: Chat module and Trade module have been enabled. Players can speak in the regional channel, limited to 10 times per day.

Players can trade in the exchange, using exchange points or bartering.

As soon as the system notification sounded, a translucent chat interface unfolded before Lin Mo's eyes, and simultaneously, the regional channel instantly exploded, with countless messages pouring out.

"Holy crap, it's finally connected!"

"Is anyone there? Living people, make a sound!"

"Wuwuwu, you scared me to death, what kind of hellish place is this!"

"By the way, what kind of ships did you all draw? Mine is a D-grade broken boat; I feel like one wave could smash it apart."

"Our team has an 'European Emperor' who drew a large sailboat, A-grade! Everyone followed him aboard, big shot carrying us!"

"Above, stop showing off! Our team is so unlucky, all C-grade and D-grade, the best one is only a B-grade dinghy. In the end, we could only each take one boat and act separately; I hope we can survive."

"Are you worse off than me? I'm alone on a deserted island, no teammates, starting with a small raft, not even a sail, relying entirely on paddling by hand. I feel like I'm not far from death!"

"Above, the black fog starts moving after 24 hours; if you don't want to die, paddle quickly, maybe you can still see people!"

"Are there any big shots who've seen supply boxes? All I have around here is seawater, not even a single hair!"

"Haven't seen +1."

"I have some here! The supply box contained a few pieces of wood and some scrap metal. I used them to upgrade the ship's level; better than nothing."

"Holy crap, I'm jealous! You can upgrade with supplies?"

The chat channel was filled with wails, all kinds of comparisons of misery and calls for help.

Lin Mo quickly browsed, noticing that most people's ships were only B-grade or lower. Those who drew A-grade were extremely rare, revered as big shots by their teammates.

As for S-grade, it wasn't even mentioned by anyone, probably an existence too unbelievable to even consider.

Moreover, other people's ship upgrade methods seemed to be the traditional collection of materials for upgrading.

Lin Mo stroked his chin, understanding.

His "Natural Selection" could upgrade by sailing, and its initial supplies were so abundant. This lead was not just a little bit; it was like starting at the finish line.

"Brother Mo, dinner's ready!"

Gu Nianqiu's clear and sweet voice came from the direction of the second-floor kitchen, with a hint of cheerfulness.

She looked around but didn't see Lin Mo, so she called out again: "Strange, where is he? Brother Mo—where are you?"
