124: routine

Two days later.

It was already August!

The teleportation array on the first floor of the Mage Tower lit up, and Eric's familiar figure stepped out.

He adjusted his Mage robe and looked up to see only Spirit Eye waiting there.

"Good afternoon, Spirit Eye!"

Eric greeted cheerily, then looked around with a touch of surprise:

"Huh? Where's Brian? Why are you the only one here to greet me?"

"Good day, Mr. Eric!"

Spirit Eye's face broke into a sweet smile.

"I just received your teleportation request and approved it immediately, I didn't even have time to inform Master yet!"

She winked playfully, adding:

"But now he knows! Heh~"

"Haha, you little one, your efficiency is still so high!"

Eric was amused by her demeanor, waving his hand:

"It's alright, no rush, we'll just wait for him here for a bit."

His words had not fully faded.

A barely perceptible ripple appeared in the space beside them.

Brian's figure quietly manifested as if stepping out of water.

"I wouldn't dare keep a master like you waiting."

Brian had a relaxed smile on his face, clearly refreshed by the two days of rest.

"Oh, it looks like you rested well."

Eric sized him up, teasing:

"Much more energetic than when we last spoke, when you were buried in blueprints."

Brian responded with a laugh, then gestured with an open hand:

"Just balancing work and rest. Let's go, no need to stand here. The detailed construction plan is ready in the conference room, we can discuss it while we look. Spirit Eye, prepare some snacks and drinks and send them over."

"Okay! Coming right up!"

Spirit Eye responded cheerfully.

Her figure instantly vanished from the spot, going to arrange the refreshments.

Brian walked side by side with Eric towards the conference room within the Mage Tower.

As Eric walked, he couldn't help but ask curiously:

"To be honest, I still think you're quite ambitious. Four level 6 mage towers, you're spreading your net wider than I imagined. Come on, tell me, which unlucky planes have you set your sights on this time?"

A meaningful smile played on Brian's lips:

"I already have plane coordinates! But I don't want to touch intermediate planes for now, mostly they are low-level planes. However..."

He deliberately drew out his voice:

"If you want to get involved! We can team up and explore an intermediate plane first. But let's be clear, I'll be leading on this plane!"

"Oh? Any specific intel?" Eric's interest was piqued.

"Currently, there's no specific intel. Two coordinates have already been detected! It's just that I'm still a level 5 Mage, so I haven't gone to gather intel yet. If you're interested, I can arrange for the detection."

Brian probed, then paused and continued:

"Of course, I also want to use them to test the quality of my new equipment!"

"Oh? What earth-shattering contraption have you come up with now?"

Eric still greatly admired Brian's creativity.

None of Brian's creations were simple!

"Heh! I won't tell you yet! If you want to know~"

Brian deliberately enticed Eric.

After all, an extra super fighter.

Would make things much more stable!

Seeing his expression, Eric guessed what he was thinking:

"Alright, alright! Isn't it just helping you out? Can you take me on a tour later?"

Upon hearing this, Brian.

His heart instantly bloomed with joy.

Indeed, true feelings never last, only schemes win hearts!

"No problem! I'll take you to see it after we finish discussing the construction plan!"

As they spoke, the two entered the conference room.

In the conference room, a giant holographic projection displayed the preliminary design blueprints and resource list for the four level 6 mage towers.

Eric carefully examined them, occasionally tapping his finger on several key points, offering some optimization suggestions.

Brian listened attentively, and the two engaged in an in-depth discussion on several technical details.

"...That's pretty much it. Spirit Eye has already prepared the materials, they're in the warehouse area. With you, the original designer, personally overseeing it, efficiency certainly won't be an issue."

Brian concluded.

"Don't worry, leave it to me. But honestly, I'm already looking forward to the performance of your new equipment."

Eric rubbed his hands, his face full of curiosity:

"Can you take me to see it now?"

"Of course, this way please." Brian stood up and made an inviting gesture.

The two left the conference room and, via the teleportation array inside the Mage Tower, arrived directly at the observation platform of the dimensional space room.

The moment Eric stepped out of the teleportation array and saw the sight before him, he involuntarily stopped, sucking in a cold breath.

What met his eyes was an incredibly spectacular steel forest.

Above the vast testing ground, a thousand silver-blue coated level 5 intelligent robots were arranged in neat formations.

They were divided into ten hundred-person squads: basic models, iron oath guardians, breakers, sky patrollers, annihilators, and sanctuaries, each performing their duties, arranged in an orderly fashion.

The cold metal shells gleamed with a chilling luster under the simulated sky, and silent energy fluctuations connected into a single expanse, forming a suffocatingly deadly atmosphere.

And in the higher sky, twelve silver rings—the Doomsday Judgment Squad—floated silently, like the eyes of gods overlooking the mortal world.

They formed a giant circle, with faint golden energy glow flowing between them, emitting a low, harmonious resonance, as if breathing.

"This... is this what you meant by testing the quality?"

Eric's voice was tinged with an incredulous dryness:

"Brian, this is no longer a legion; this is a mobile, armed to the teeth... civilization barrier!"

His gaze was sharp, instantly catching the improvements in the robots' details:

"All level 5 intelligent robots! And that coating, is it a new composite material? Wait, those rings in the sky... the fluctuations they're emitting? Brian, what exactly are they?"

Brian watched Eric's shocked expression.

He smiled slightly and nodded to Spirit Eye beside him:

"Spirit Eye, show our guest a part of the 'final judgment Battle Codex'."

"Understood! Mr. Eric, please watch closely!"

Spirit Eye's voice carried a hint of pride.
