8: Uncle Klein

The moment Klein stepped out of the Magic Formation, a gentle breeze blew, carrying the unique magical aura of the Mage Tower.

His gaze then fell upon Brian, who was standing nearby, and a hearty smile blossomed on his face.

He walked up to Brian, gave him a firm hug, and said in a gentle tone:

"Brian, long time no see! You've grown quite a bit!"

Brian responded with a smile: "Third Uncle, you look much more energetic too. It seems the realm of a Third-level Mage has made you even younger and more promising."

Klein laughed heartily, the wrinkles on his face smoothing out:

"You're such a sweet talker, kid. I heard you've already broken through to a Second-level Mage? Not bad, not bad. With your talent, that breakthrough should have been successful on your first try, right?"

Brian humbly waved his hand: "Haha, just good luck, good luck."

Klein shook his head, his eyes filled with approval:

"Luck is also part of strength. Come, tell me in detail about your process of breaking through to a Second-level Mage. Let me see what progress you've made."

With that, Brian led Klein to a reception room in the Mage Tower.

The reception room was elegantly and warmly furnished, with several oil paintings depicting magical scenes hanging on the walls, and exquisite tea sets displayed on the table.

After they sat down, Brian began to recount in detail his experience of breaking through to a Second-level Mage, as well as his control and understanding of magic during meditation.

Klein listened very carefully, nodding occasionally in agreement or asking questions and offering suggestions.

When Brian finished speaking, Klein pondered for a moment, his hands clasped on the table, his gaze fixed on Brian:

"Brian, your control over magic is already quite outstanding, even surpassing some Third-level Mages. However, in the application and selection of spells, you still need to be more cautious and precise."

"Next, I will give you some advice and guidance based on your situation and talent, to help you better choose and develop your own path."

Upon hearing this, Brian was overjoyed, and his face showed gratitude: "Thank you, Third Uncle! With your guidance, I will surely go further."

Klein nodded, his eyes filled with anticipation:

Sunlight streamed through the windows, casting golden patches of light on the reception room floor.

Brian stood up, adjusting the hem of his mage robe: "Third Uncle, it's lunchtime. Shall we go have lunch?"

The two walked out of the reception room together, heading towards the castle's dining hall.

Along the way, Klein told Brian some of his experiences and observations from his travels abroad, which Brian listened to with great interest.

They walked through corridors and past gardens, experiencing the tranquility and peace within the castle.

Arriving at the dining hall, the food was already laid out.

Alice was also standing nearby, holding little Joey, her face beaming with a gentle smile.

Seeing Brian and Klein enter, Alice said softly:

"Brian, Uncle Klein, you're here. Please sit down and eat."

Little Joey also waved his small hands, making babbling sounds, seemingly welcoming them.

Klein walked forward with a smile, gently pinching little Joey's cheek, his eyes full of affection: "This little guy is so cute."

Everyone gathered around the dining table and began to enjoy lunch.

The table was laden with various delicious dishes, their enticing aromas stimulating the appetite.

At the dining table, everyone continued to chat while enjoying the delicious food.

Klein inquired about Alice and Joey's well-being, and Alice answered each question with a smile.

Brian interjected occasionally, sharing some of his recent thoughts.

Klein listened, offering some pertinent advice from time to time, creating a warm and harmonious atmosphere.

After the meal, Klein said to Brian:

"Brian, after lunch, I'll take you to see some of the magic books and materials I brought for you this time. Perhaps they will be helpful for your upcoming cultivation."

Brian's eyes lit up, and an expectant look appeared on his face: "Great, Third Uncle, let's go now."

The two arrived together at the Mage Tower's library on the third floor.

Klein took out a huge box from his spatial ring. When opened, it was filled with various precious magic books and materials.

As he picked up each book and material, he introduced their uses and characteristics to Brian.

Brian listened attentively, his heart full of gratitude.

He knew how valuable these books and materials were to him.

Each book contained rich magical knowledge and wisdom, and each item could be key to improving his strength.

After staying in the library for a long time, Klein and Brian finally walked out.

Klein said with encouragement in his eyes:

Additionally, a rune lift system would be installed inside the Mage Tower for convenient movement between floors.

He explained his ideas to Klein.

After listening, Klein nodded approvingly:
