61: Only children make choices

After Brian completed his advancement, he did not rush to leave the meditation room.

He needed to engrave his first Level 4 Spirit Orb with Level 4 Magic Runes.

In addition to the three essential spells—Spirit Fire (Level 4), Spirit Stabilization (Level 4), and Spirit Control (Level 4)—

the other three spells he planned to engrave were:

One physical area-of-effect spell: Level 4 Meteor Shower!

One short-range teleportation spell: Level 4 Instant Movement!

One high-damage single-target spell: Level 4 Finger of Annihilation!

There was a good reason for choosing these spells.

His previous seven spells already included magical area-of-effect, multi-defense, long-range teleportation, control, mental attack, and healing spells.

What was missing, then, were physical area-of-effect, short-range instant mobility, and high-damage burst single-target spells.

This would temporarily complete his entire system.

After all, these were all instant-cast Level 4 spells, enough to face any enemy of the same level!

Next, Brian began to carefully engrave the Magic Runes within his first Level 4 Spirit Orb.

Engraving Level 4 spells would be more time-consuming.

After all, Level 4 spells were considered legendary spells, and their power was completely different from Level 3 and below.

In other worlds, legendary mages casting legendary spells would take at least thirty seconds to several minutes.

Similarly, if mages in the Mage World wanted to cast an un-engraved Level 4 spell, it would take them at least five seconds to complete.

This was only possible in such a short time due to their powerful mental strength, magic power, and physical tier.

Each spell required about ten minutes to engrave.

Over an hour later,

Brian finally completed the engraving of the Level 4 spells.

At this moment, he felt incredibly powerful.

However, after breaking through to Level 4 mental strength, he would still need a few more days to complete the advancement of his magic power and physical tier.

Only then would he be a Level 4 Mage in his primary complete form.

But, there was no rush for now.

The most important thing now was to return to the castle and report the situation to the women waiting for him there.

Back at the castle, Alice and the others saw Brian emerge and immediately surrounded him.

Alice asked with concern, “My dear, was everything smooth with your advancement to a Level 4 Mage?”

Brian smiled and nodded, saying, “Yes, everything went smoothly.”

Emily also said excitedly, “Wow, a Level 4 Archmage! My husband is a Level 4 Archmage! Haha!”

Lucia, with a proud expression for Brian, echoed, “Yes, a Level 4 Mage. It’s hard to imagine my husband is actually a Level 4 Mage now.”

Brian looked at them with a wide smile, feeling that everything was worth it!

Then he said, “Alright, alright! All of you are Level 2 Mages now, and in one or two years, you’ll also be able to break through to Level 4.”

Hearing Brian’s encouragement, Alice and the others thought about it and realized he was right.

Immediately, their excited feelings slowly calmed down.

Then they heard Brian say, “Today is a good day! I’ve decided!”

As he spoke, he paused for a moment, then continued, “To use love as a carving knife, to sculpt marble that weeps!”

Alice and the others were puzzled: “My dear, what does that mean?”

Brian saw their reaction and knew they clearly didn’t understand the meaning of the sentence.

Then he said with a look of disappointment, “What does it mean? It means making younger siblings for Joey and them!”

Then he said arrogantly, “None of you can leave, no one in the room can leave, let’s fight until dawn!”

Alice and the other three only reacted then, looking speechless.

‘So that’s what it means!

Just say it more clearly!

We’re old married couples!

But, will the ones weeping be them?’

Brian took the three of them, and with a void teleportation, directly teleported all four into the room and said:

“I am the sculptor! You are my marble!

You’ll weep, my dear marbles!”

Alice and the other three clearly hadn’t expected Brian to use a teleportation spell to bring them directly to the battlefield.

‘No way! Is that how you use your spells?

Which teacher taught you that?

Let him come out, see if I don’t beat him to death!’

After Emily mentally complained, she actively initiated a challenge!

“I’m not afraid of you! Bring it on!” Emily put her hands on her hips, striking a combat pose.

Alice and Lucia exchanged a smile, also getting ready.

Brian couldn’t help but laugh out loud, seeing their high spirits.

“Haha, then I won’t be polite!” With that, he waved his hands.

‘Magic Energy Rope’ × 3!

“Ah!” × 3

The following 10086 words are omitted... A week passed in Brian’s relaxed time.

Brian hadn’t been idle during this week.

He had already completed the evolution of his magic power and physical body to Level 4.

Currently, the issue Brian needed to consider was the Mage Tower.

He was contemplating whether to learn and build a Level 4 legendary Mage Tower himself, or to invite Eric to help build a Level 6 demigod wizard tower.

After a long period of thought, he slapped the table and said:

“Only children make choices; adults want everything.”

That’s right! He planned to have both!

He wanted to learn and build a Level 4 legendary Mage Tower himself, and also build a Level 6 demigod wizard tower.

Anyway, he had many wives and children, so he wouldn't need to deliberately pass it down in the future!

First, he would buy a powerful one to use, and then replace it with one he built himself when he had the ability to do so.

Moreover, although learning to build a Level 4 Mage Tower was not easy and required a vast amount of knowledge,

during the learning process, he could deeply understand the structure and principles of the Mage Tower, learn more rune techniques, and perhaps it would be helpful for creating magical constructs and spells in the future!

He now had a general reference for new constructs and spells.

He also needed to learn more knowledge to combine, research, and verify.

As a coin bounced in his hand,

the magnetic wind swirled around him,

a purplish-blue light flashed forth,

and the enemy, upon impact, instantly turned to dust!

This spell was super cool!

He now wanted to create this spell and the related weapons!

However, his current knowledge base was insufficient, and his skills in combining Level 4 and Level 5 spell runes were also lacking.

Only by learning more advanced rune combinations and Magic Formations would he have a chance to achieve this.

And a level 6 mage tower, compared to a Level 4 Mage Tower, was over a hundred times stronger in terms of energy, efficiency, defense, and all other aspects!

Regardless of the consideration, building a level 6 mage tower was the best choice.

Although Eric’s fees were a bit expensive, he would teach relevant knowledge!

Knowledge in the Mage World was extremely important, and some knowledge was exclusive, not found on the magic net.

Considering Eric’s availability, Brian decided to send a communication to contact him first.

“Spirit Eye, connect me to Eric’s communication.”

As soon as Brian finished speaking, Spirit Eye responded quickly.

“Okay, creator.”

After a flicker of light, Eric’s image appeared before Brian.

Eric smiled and said, “Yo, Brian, long time no see. What’s up?”

Brian also smiled and replied, “Eric, I’d like to ask you to help me build a Level 6 demigod wizard tower. When do you have time?”

“Hmm? You’ve broken through to Level 4?” Eric asked with slight surprise.

“That’s right. I just completed my Level 4 breakthrough not long ago. I was thinking of finding someone to build a level 6 mage tower first, and then after further study, build a Level 4 Mage Tower myself.”

Brian affirmed to Eric and stated his plan.

“I see!”

Eric pondered for a moment, stroked his chin, and after a brief thought, said:

“Hmm... I do have some time recently, but building a level 6 mage tower takes quite a while, and the materials and Magic Formation design all need careful planning. Plus, regarding the cost, you know it’s not cheap.”

“I’m aware of all that. I’ll prepare the materials, and the cost isn’t an issue.” Brian quickly patted his chest, indicating these were not problems.

“Don’t worry, as long as you can help me build this level 6 mage tower, I won’t shortchange you a single coin on the fees.”

Eric nodded: “Alright, then I’ll take on this job. I’ll first give you a list of materials needed for the level 6 mage tower. Notify me when you have the materials ready, and I’ll come over.”

Brian smiled and said, “No problem, I’ll purchase them from the magic net immediately. I expect to have it sorted out today.”

“Alright then, I’ll organize the material list and send it to you via the magic net. Notify me after you’ve bought them. I’m signing off now.” Eric finished speaking and disconnected the communication.
