22: Shifting the blame eastward

A few minutes later, Gu Qinghan followed this group to the bottom of a teaching building.

The number of zombies here was smaller than where he had been before; there were even quite a few people outside clearing them out.

Gu Qinghan ignored these people and directly signaled the Girl from earlier to call the people out.

Many people cast their gazes toward Gu Qinghan, pointing and whispering about this seemingly mysterious person.

Within a few minutes, a man and a woman walked out, supporting each other.

Gu Qinghan frowned; there was a wounded person.

In the current situation, a wounded person was simply a burden; bringing them along would only lead to endless trouble.

The couple clearly knew the purpose of Gu Qinghan's visit and appeared somewhat happy.

The couple was a good match, a standard pair of a talented man and a beautiful woman.

The Male Student had a foil perm and asked with a slightly pale complexion:

"Hello, my name is Zhang Jiawei, and this is my girlfriend, Li Meng."

"Hmm, I heard from them that you live in District C?"

"Yes, we both came over here to find some classmates, but we didn't expect to encounter this matter..."

Zhang Jiawei's expression dimmed a little, but he quickly added:

"Although I'm injured, it won't affect my mobility. If things go smoothly, we can make it back there today."

He looked at the skeletons beside Gu Qinghan; it was obvious that someone had told him about Gu Qinghan's powerful combat strength.

However, Gu Qinghan slowly shook his head, because from the movements just now, he had discovered that the other party's injury was on their leg.

Someone with a leg injury would definitely be the one sacrificed when encountering an emergency.

Seeing that Gu Qinghan seemed somewhat dissatisfied, Zhang Jiawei immediately said:

"How about you wait here for a while? We have a Professionals here who can heal, but there are too many wounded, and he has run out of mana."

He was very anxious and did not want to miss out on the protection of this mysterious powerhouse before him.

Gu Qinghan was a bit puzzled and asked:

"A Professionals who can heal?"

Zhang Jiawei nodded and then sighed:

"I've actually already been treated by him once, otherwise I probably wouldn't be able to walk right now."

Gu Qinghan looked at his thigh; the bloodstains there had already coagulated, so it was clear that he had been seriously injured earlier.

A Professionals capable of restoring his mobility in just one day was an extremely valuable resource in this crisis-ridden apocalypse.

"Call him out; I have a way to make him heal."

Zhang Jiawei gave a bitter smile and explained under Gu Qinghan's puzzled gaze:

"His status is very distinguished now. We all have to trade valuable items we have on us to him just to get treatment; how could he possibly come out with us?"

Gu Qinghan frowned; this really was troublesome.

However, thinking that these two people could take him to District C, he had no choice but to signal them to take him inside.

Soon, Gu Qinghan saw a Male Student sitting in a classroom with his legs crossed.

This Male Student had a shifty look, his eyes constantly scanning the Girls passing by in the hallway.

Seeing the three of them enter, he straightened up and said impatiently:

"Zhang Jiawei, right? I remember taking your items, but I can't cast skills right now. Wait a while; I won't forget about you."

Zhang Jiawei looked helpless, but he heard Gu Qinghan ask:

"How much mana does it take to use your skill once?"

"15 points, what's it to you?"

"What level are you now?"

"Just reached level 3, why are you asking this?"

Gu Qinghan hesitated for a moment, walked over to the other person, and took off his Ring of Contemplation.

"Put this on and heal him."

This Male Student was originally somewhat annoyed by Gu Qinghan's bluntness, but upon seeing the attributes of the Ring of Contemplation, his eyes immediately widened.

"My level 3 mana is only just 45 points, this thing has 50 points of mana directly!"

You have to know, at this moment, the mana in this Ring of Contemplation had been filled by Gu Qinghan.

In other words, he could directly use the mana inside it to cast skills.

"Hurry up, I'm in a rush."

Gu Qinghan took a cup of instant noodles and a bottle of water out of the backpack on his back and placed them on the table; this was a backpack he had specifically brought when he came out earlier.

This way, he didn't need to produce items out of thin air, and it wouldn't attract too much attention.

"Hmm, okay, come over here, I'll heal you directly."

The Male Student's eyes rolled around, and finally, he beckoned to Zhang Jiawei.

Zhang Jiawei glanced at Gu Qinghan gratefully, then went straight to the front of the Male Student.

The Male Student extended his right hand, and a handful of pale green energy emerged.

Just looking at this energy made one feel refreshed, but it made Gu Qinghan instinctively take a step back.

He loathed this vibrant aura.

"This must be a change brought about by my class, right? It seems that classes don't only bring benefits..."

Gu Qinghan, who had originally intended to use his Imitator talent, immediately dismissed the idea; if he didn't like it, then his skeletons certainly wouldn't either.

Just as Gu Qinghan was thinking to himself, this energy had already entered Zhang Jiawei's body.

Zhang Jiawei's facial pallor faded significantly in an instant, and he immediately stomped the injured foot.

"It basically doesn't affect my mobility anymore. Thank you! Senior Cao Qing!"

Cao Qing smiled, then glanced at Gu Qinghan, who had a thoughtful look on his face.

The next second, his gaze looked toward the door without leaving a trace; there were no skeletons guarding it.

Almost in an instant, Cao Qing rushed toward the door.

He wanted to take the ring for himself; as long as he could run into the crowd, relying on the advantage of numbers, and then promising treatment, even if Gu Qinghan was powerful, he couldn't do anything to him.

However, just as he was about to rush out the door, a sharp axe appeared, directly hacking him to the ground.

Blood instantly stained Cao Qing's shirt red; he wailed, clutching his arm, looking in terror at the skeleton outside the door that resembled a demon god.

He hadn't expected that besides the few skeletons in the room, there were even more outside!

"If you want to rob something, you at least need to have the capital for it. How can you be this stupid?"

Gu Qinghan slowly walked up to this guy and smilingly extended his hand.

Cao Qing hurriedly took off the ring, not even forgetting to wipe off the blood splattered on it with his own clothes.

Gu Qinghan put the ring back on his own hand, beckoned to Zhang Jiawei and the other person, and walked out of the classroom.

He had had a moment of murderous intent just now, but he thought of a better way.

Zhang Jiawei and his companion glanced at Cao Qing, who was lying on the ground, and hesitated, but still didn't go to help him up.

When he was the only one left in the classroom, Cao Qing gritted his teeth and cast a skill on himself.

A student came in and helped him up, looking with some fear in the direction Gu Qinghan and the others had left.

Cao Qing's gaze was cold, and he asked the person who helped him up:

"Do you know the name of that person just now?"

The student thought for a moment and said uncertainly:

"When I heard him introduce himself earlier, it seemed to be... Li Qingshan?"

Cao Qing grunted and silently noted down this name.

"Li Qingshan, I am not finished with you regarding today's matter!"
