230: Unique identification method

Gu Qinghan was still harvesting the lives of Contractors in the hunting ground, and this time, his movements were much faster.

After all, everyone was already in chaos; even upon seeing their own people, they would just avoid them from afar.

In this situation, Gu Qinghan's mission progress was also rapidly increasing.

He was 20, 10, then 5 away from completing the mission.

When he was finally only two away, Gu Qinghan couldn't find any targets no matter what.

Gu Qinghan's brow furrowed slightly; it was impossible that such a large area couldn't even gather forty or fifty people.

There was only one possibility: these Contractors had hidden in a safe place.

However, Gu Qinghan had been keeping an eye on the exit, and no one had passed through.

Instead, some people had joined midway, most likely coming to look for Gu Qinghan.

Thinking of this, Gu Qinghan had the Crow King in mid-air change its position to see where those people were hiding.

Just as the Crow King moved, a black-red light suddenly lit up in a certain part of the hunting ground.

A black-red flame, like a giant python choosing its prey, bit towards the Crow King's position, almost catching Gu Qinghan off guard.

However, at the last moment, the Crow King still changed direction, narrowly dodging the attack.

But the flame clung to the Crow King like a maggot to a bone, and Gu Qinghan felt a burning sensation transmit through their soul connection.

"This flame can burn souls?"

Gu Qinghan made this judgment almost instantly; he quickly recalled the Crow King to prevent the flame from appearing again.

And after the flame gradually dissipated, Gu Qinghan even felt his control over the Crow King had weakened slightly.

This was only a brief burn, yet it had such an effect; if it had lasted longer, Gu Qinghan even felt he would completely lose control of the Crow King.

It was at this moment that a series of chaotic footsteps suddenly sounded around him.

Gu Qinghan's position had been discovered!

It was useless to change his appearance now; the other party was clearly calculating Gu Qinghan, and the same trick would be hard to work.

However, Gu Qinghan wasn't flustered; the Necromantic Power brought by these Contractors gave him a considerable harvest.

He had already leveled up to 33 after a spree of killing, and the number of summoned skeletons had reached 132.

Unfortunately, the two newly lit soul fire still floated into the large door in Gu Qinghan's mental world, bringing no substantial combat power increase to Gu Qinghan.

deaths glory appeared in Gu Qinghan's hand; he was ready to break out.

Anyway, he had already gained a considerable harvest this trip; he just needed to fill the remaining two slots before leaving.

Skeletons, like a tide, suddenly appeared around Gu Qinghan; the green light in their eye sockets even made this area glow faintly.

At the same time, figures also appeared in the surrounding ruins.

Gu Qinghan looked at these figures, and they were all Contractors who had already undergone demonization.

Their forms had changed more or less, but they all shared one most significant characteristic:

Human features were gradually disappearing, and some even looked completely inhuman.

"I almost forgot you had this ability; indeed, when inferring your thoughts, one cannot consider you human."

At this point, Gu Qinghan finally understood why these Contractors could regain trust in each other: it was through these bizarre demonized appearances.

Gu Qinghan indeed couldn't transform himself like that, and the power of equipment wasn't infinite.

He no longer procrastinated and directly ordered his skeletons to attack.

The Temporary Workers rushed towards these Contractors like university students running to the cafeteria after class.

And Gu Qinghan also transformed all his skeletons into the Sky Eye Skeleton profession, covering the Contractors in one direction with a volley of crossbow bolts.

Five Death Swordsmen charged at the forefront, like the sharpest blades, trying to open a breach.

Gu Qinghan himself did not act, because he was waiting for someone, someone who had not yet appeared.

Han Dongxu.

When those Contractors saw Gu Qinghan attacking, they did not directly flee.

They quickly retreated to the sides, revealing a broad figure behind them.

"Actually, I'm very curious why you would risk coming to this place to kill people."

Han Dongxu walked out from the crowd, and the black-red flaming skeletons appeared beside him, blocking the charge of the Death Swordsmen.

These skeletons were not numerous, appearing to be only about thirty.

But their strength was clearly much stronger than those summoned by Gu Qinghan; Gu Qinghan even felt that even with professions, his skeletons would definitely be crushed.

Moreover, they carried a strong demonic aura, and combined with those Contractors, they forcefully withstood the impact of the first wave.

Gu Qinghan looked at the cold-faced Han Dongxu, his brow slightly raised, finally focusing his gaze on the other party's feet.

At this moment, Han Dongxu was wearing rain boots.

Han Dongxu also noticed Gu Qinghan's gaze, and an uncontrollable murderous intent surged out as he roared:

"You're also a Necromancer, right? But your power is nowhere near mine!

Let me show you how my Demon Skeleton will crush your trash!"

He pushed away a few Contractors beside him, took a deep breath, and black-red flames suddenly ignited in front of him.

After these flames appeared, they rapidly rushed forward, engulfing the so-called Demon Skeleton and Gu Qinghan's Temporary Workers.

Gu Qinghan originally thought his Temporary Workers would be engulfed by these flames, but unexpectedly, these Temporary Workers froze in place.

A few seconds later, they suddenly turned and charged towards Gu Qinghan.

And Gu Qinghan clearly saw that the originally green soul fire in the eyes of these skeletons had now turned blood-red.

"Hahahahaha, die for me! Die for me!"

Han Dongxu, acting mad, continuously threw clusters of black-red flames into Gu Qinghan's Temporary Worker group.

These flames were not fast in flight, but they were very effective in such large-scale battles.

Any Temporary Workers touched by those flames would turn within a few seconds, and then be torn apart by more skeletons.

However, this somewhat affected Gu Qinghan's offensive.

With a thought, the Sky Eye Skeleton locked its target on Han Dongxu, wanting to force this biggest threat to retreat first.

But just then, the smile on Han Dongxu's lips became even more pronounced, and without looking back, he shouted loudly behind him:

"Piao Jun! It's up to you!"

Before his voice had even faded, some of the crossbow bolts flying towards him seemed to freeze for an instant.

Immediately after, these crossbow bolts rapidly changed direction, colliding with other crossbow bolts.

Hundreds of highly threatening crossbow bolts fell to the ground within a few seconds.

And a few crossbow bolts that hadn't fallen yet seemed to have been given life, slowly turning and aiming at Gu Qinghan.

A playful voice sounded from behind Han Dongxu, followed by a thin man walking out, his right hand slightly open.

"Sorry, your skill is mine now!"
