303: Witch, Occupation: Witch!

Driven by the wights constantly rushing out from both sides of the street, Gu Qinghan and his group steadily approached their destination.

During this time, the Witch never made a move; she was waiting for an opportunity.

When everyone had gathered in a ruined area, the Witch glanced at Tommy, who Gu Qinghan was impersonating.

Gu Qinghan understood immediately; she was telling him that they had arrived.

This was the place where the Witch had killed Torres's clone last time.

Gu Qinghan looked at his surroundings and realized that this area must have been a commercial district before.

But now, the original buildings were long gone, replaced by widespread devastation.

The building fragments were scattered haphazardly, as if some force had tossed them around.

Of course, Gu Qinghan knew this wasn't Torres's doing.

According to the information the Witch had previously revealed to Gu Qinghan, her profession was simply called Witch.

This was also a special profession, with abilities roughly similar to telekinesis in sci-fi movies.

These scattered building fragments were the result of the Witch's last battle with Torres.

Knowing that Torres might have set traps, the Witch led everyone to stop as soon as they entered this ruined area.

At the same time, thanks to the efforts of Gu Qinghan's skeletons and numerous Crusaders, the rushing wights were falling at an encouraging rate.

Before anyone could even smile, a figure suddenly appeared on top of a building.

Torres!

Torres shouted loudly from above, "Gu Han, welcome to my domain!"

Gu Qinghan said nothing, nor did the fake Gu Qinghan.

However, some Sky Eye Skeletons shifted their targets, firing sharp crossbow bolts at him.

Torres laughed heartily, and a wight nearly five meters tall suddenly appeared beside him.

This wight was just like the one Gu Qinghan had seen at the Auction House, directly enduring all the attacks.

Even these crossbow bolts, carrying immense power, couldn't make this guy retreat a single step.

"To welcome you all, my subjects have been ready for a long time!"

Torres's voice came from above, but soon a huge building fragment was hurled towards him.

The Witch had made her move.

A brilliant red energy enveloped the building fragment, but it was intercepted by another Hundred Battle Wight, which pounced on it from mid-air.

The wight forcefully smashed the building fragment to the ground, then quickly scrambled up from the scattered rubble.

It roared and joined the battle, even knocking aside several ordinary wights along the way.

Moreover, the surrounding ground suddenly began to crack, and wights crawled out from within, encircling the crowd.

But the next moment, an ocean-like tide of skeletons appeared around the crowd, charging into battle against those wights.

The number of living people in this city definitely did not exceed a hundred.

Yet, this battle involved tens of thousands of units.

Wights and skeletons, both already dead creatures, began their decisive battle under the control of two Necromancers.

Torres's expression changed slightly; he hadn't expected Gu Qinghan to have so many skeletons.

He still remembered how terrifying Gu Qinghan's massive Bone Whale had been at the Auction House.

Therefore, he immediately made a decision: he absolutely could not give Gu Qinghan a chance to unleash that skill.

A large number of corpses suddenly appeared beside him; with a wave of his hand, these corpses plunged downwards like dumplings.

And when these corpses landed, they transformed into pools of blood.

The number of corpses was unknown, but they quickly converged into a considerable Blood Tide.

As the Blood Tide formed, it rapidly spread towards the center of the battlefield.

"That move again!"

The Witch shouted loudly, powerful energy radiating from her and spreading outwards.

The red energy burrowed into the ground, tearing up sections of the earth and simultaneously flinging the surrounding wights away.

At the same time, the red energy was like a strong wind, blowing towards the Blood Tide.

The wights in its path were pushed aside, but the moment the red energy and the Blood Tide made contact, it didn't have much effect.

The Blood Tide was actually devouring the Witch's energy!

But the Witch's efforts were not in vain, because the Blood Tide was temporarily held back.

Gu Qinghan looked at the Witch beside him and asked,

"Is it okay to gather those Hundred Battle Wights together?"

"Don't underestimate me, I'm very strong too!"

The Witch said without looking back; at this moment, everyone was fighting with all their might, and no one noticed their conversation.

The Witch struck again, but this time, the red energy split into several streams.

The targets of these energies were precisely those Hundred Battle Wights rampaging through the skeleton horde.

One Hundred Battle Wight sensed the approaching threat and immediately crossed its arms in a defensive posture.

But the impact force of the red energy was terrifying; a single blow pushed the guy back several meters.

The Hundred Battle Wight stumbled backward, but it was quickly enveloped by the red energy.

Its ferocity erupted, and it attacked the energy that was restraining it.

For a moment, these red energies floated downwards like shredded silk ribbons.

But the Witch's goal was not to kill them, but to gather them together.

The red ribbon violently whipped, flinging the wight in a certain direction.

The Hundred Battle Wight was thrown to the ground face-first, but it quickly stood up without any injuries.

But just as it got up, it saw several other gray figures flying towards it.

Those were the other Hundred Battle Wights.

The unlucky guy was knocked down again, and several Hundred Battle Wights lay there like drunks for a long time before getting up.

But how could Gu Qinghan give them a chance? If they couldn't get up, they wouldn't get another chance to try.

A bone hand suddenly appeared on the battlefield, like an arm reaching out from the void by a god.

The bone hand quickly formed a fist and smashed down fiercely onto the Hundred Battle Wights that were about to stand up.

Thump!

The ground seemed to tremble, but it was quickly covered by the dense sound of footsteps.

Thump! Thump!

After three consecutive blows, the bone hand suddenly shattered, turning into a sky full of white light that gradually dissipated.

But those Hundred Battle Wights were now flattened against the ground like squashed play-doh.

No, they were plastered into the rubble.

"Bastard!"

Torres saw this scene, so angry that his entire body of fat trembled.

Every Hundred Battle Wight was an extremely precious existence; calling them his life's work would not be an exaggeration.

But in just ten short seconds, five Hundred Battle Wights had completely died.

But what angered him even more was that the wights that had been motionless suddenly stood up from the ground!

Their way of moving was very strange now, but they still steadfastly charged towards the wight horde.

Black smoke appeared on their bodies.

This was Gu Qinghan's Death Manipulation skill, and he hadn't even expected himself to succeed.

But he quickly realized one thing: wights are, by their very nature, corpses!
