449: The creature in the forest is a dragon!

In the ensuing battle, Gu Qinghan became even more convinced of his judgment.

These fighting Mutated Birds of Prey must have been thrown out by the existence within the forest to distract attention.

Judging by Gu Qinghan's previous successful deception, the mysterious existence inside possessed intelligence.

Its intelligence was not low; it had even reached a level close to that of a human.

Unfortunately, it ran into a monstrous individual like Gu Qinghan.

"Can you still use that skill of yours that knocks enemies down?"

Gu Qinghan looked toward Lu Chengfeng, his eyes full of inquiry.

Lu Chengfeng nodded, but replied:

"I can, but the current situation isn't suitable for using such a large-scale skill."

I can use single-target skills and try to shoot down these Mutated Birds."

"Then let's do as you suggested."

Having received Gu Qinghan's permission, Lu Chengfeng once again aimed his bow and arrow at the Mutated Birds of Prey in the sky.

However, the remaining Mutated Birds of Prey were all quite powerful, requiring him to land several consecutive hits to shoot one down.

But when the first one landed, a group of Death Knights surrounded it, and soon a new Death Knight ascended into the sky.

Following that, the battle became increasingly simple.

Gu Qinghan never once looked toward the forest, acting as if he was unaware that a mysterious existence might still be inside.

If the opponent wanted to mislead him, then he would follow its plan and first clear out all the cannon fodder outside.

This way, the pressure when facing that guy would be significantly reduced.

The battle lasted barely half an hour before the massive Mutated Golden Eagle was surrounded by the Death Knights and crashed to the ground after repeated spear thrusts.

The few scattered Mutated Birds of Prey remaining in the sky, upon witnessing this, flew away into the distance.

Their behavior was like subordinates fleeing in panic after their leader had died.

At this very moment, all of Gu Qinghan's Death Knights had acquired mounts.

This was the complete form of the Death Knight; from now on, they could fight under almost any condition.

"That was a convincing act."

Gu Qinghan sneered, finally turning his gaze toward the severely damaged forest.

He was now in his strongest state, and the opponent's power had been significantly weakened, so he no longer needed to pretend.

The surrounding Professionals, upon seeing Gu Qinghan's expression, gradually realized what was happening.

"Should we charge in?" Lu Chengfeng asked.

Gu Qinghan shook his head. The forest was its home ground, and many of his methods would be difficult to execute inside.

He simply walked over to the corpse of the Mutated Golden Eagle killed by the Death Knights and collected his spoils of war.

After being modified by Dragon Power, these Mutated Creatures would drop equipment and items, and provide a large amount of materials.

Gu Qinghan touched the enormous corpse but did not put it away.

He glanced around the crowd and suddenly asked:

"Does anyone here specialize in fire? Burn this forest down."

Immediately, people stepped out of the crowd; there were about ten individuals in total.

Although they were somewhat puzzled by Gu Qinghan's approach, they obediently unleashed their skills toward the forest.

Blazing flames ignited in the forest, yet they struggled to spread.

After all, the trees were extremely moist, and after mutating, they also seemed more fire-resistant.

But Gu Qinghan seemed absolutely determined to burn this forest down.

The Death Knights ascended one by one, using the airflow generated by their mounts' flapping wings to intensify the fire.

It wasn't until the sky gradually brightened that the fire began to show signs of spiraling out of control.

Raging flames spread through the forest, frantically licking every inch of wood they could reach.

Finally, in one instant, a fierce gale appeared out of thin air, violently suppressing the flames!

To a certain extent, wind can amplify fire, but when the wind is powerful enough, the flames will be extinguished instead!

"It's appeared!"

Gu Qinghan's eyes lit up, and he smiled as he watched the hurricane appear in the forest.

This mysterious existence could finally no longer maintain its pretense.

The gale dispersed, and vast amounts of ash and charred wood mixed with broken branches fell, revealing an extremely massive creature.

It appeared to be an avian creature, but light cyan cyclones were floating around its body.

Its entire body was covered in scales of the same color, its physique was long and slender, and it was certainly over a hundred meters long by visual estimate.

However, the first impression this behemoth gave was not clumsiness, but rather agility and elegance.

[Sky Wyvern (Quasi-Emperor): Level 60]

[Combat Power: 620,000]

Another Wyvern!

Gu Qinghan showed no surprise; he had already roughly guessed this outcome earlier.

What did surprise him was that this Wyvern had numerous injuries, none of which looked light.

Gu Qinghan observed it and felt that these injuries were not external wounds, but rather damage originating from deep within its body.

"Could this guy be attempting a breakthrough?"

Seeing the word "Quasi" before "Emperor," a strange thought entered Gu Qinghan's mind and refused to leave.

In this case, the reason it kept these Professionals around also became clear.

Just as people crave a feast after exhaustion, these Professionals were the great meal it had prepared for itself.

But now, it had encountered Gu Qinghan.

The Sky Wyvern let out a sharp cry directed at Gu Qinghan; the sound was identical to the one they had heard previously.

However, this time, the cry carried a strong sense of apprehension and warning.

Simultaneously, fierce winds suddenly swept the surroundings, as if the Wyvern was showcasing its power to Gu Qinghan.

It possessed considerable intelligence and could sense the dense aura of death emanating from Gu Qinghan.

If it were in its peak state, it absolutely would have attacked Gu Qinghan, but now it was injured.

That was why it had repeatedly backed away.

Gu Qinghan looked at the creature and smiled without any emotion.

Then, over a hundred Death Knights charged toward the Wyvern, as if they had received a command.

The Sky Wyvern let out another furious cry, then flapped its wings and brazenly launched an attack.

Its speed was currently slower than the Death Knights; only by fighting desperately could it secure a sliver of hope for survival.

Gu Qinghan could no longer discern what kind of creature this Wyvern originally was.

It violently swung its arms, and a tornado tens of meters high flew toward the Death Knights' formation.

Simultaneously, it followed the tornado, clearly intending to use its own body as a weapon against the enemy.

The Death Knights extended their long spears, but their shields were held directly in front.

The moment they made contact with the tornado, their shields emitted a massive suction force, actually absorbing the power of the wind.

However, this left them vulnerable, and they could only watch helplessly as the gigantic Wyvern slammed into them.

Lu Chengfeng watched from below, his blood boiling, but he simultaneously felt a pang of worry.

Although the Death Knights were powerful, they still needed to be able to attack the enemy.

With this impact, the mounts would likely be injured. Would the Death Knights still be able to fly?
