359: Blood manipulation, vampires?

A miraculous sight occurred: the massive body of the Mutated Dog suddenly vanished like smoke being sucked away, rapidly merging into Han Zhigang's body.

At that same instant, Han Zhigang's body began to swell, and even his two canine teeth started elongating.

His originally somewhat lean physique instantly became muscular and full, and a phantom dog head appeared above his own.

Following his physical transformation, the emotions in Han Zhigang's eyes immediately turned savage and violent.

He looked at the Treants in front of him, and with a single leap, he charged forward.

The Treants stretched out their massive arms to block, but Han Zhigang simply tore them apart with his bare hands.

At this moment, Han Zhigang was like a rabid mad dog; every part of his body had become a weapon.

Scales, similar to those of the Mutated Dog, even appeared on his body, resembling mysterious tattoos and emitting a powerful aura.

As Han Zhigang joined the battle, the Professionals who were originally surrounded did not counterattack together.

Instead, their expressions grew even more terrified, and they retreated backward one after another.

"Forget everyone else, we must stop Han Zhigang!"

The humans among the Treants suddenly shouted, and immediately afterward, the person who spoke cut his own palm.

Blood, far stickier than that of a normal person, flowed out and quickly spread across the ground.

This person's other hand moved slowly, actually controlling the blood!

This ability had gradually manifested after they consumed large amounts of human flesh, and they named it Blood Control Technique.

They also named themselves the Blood Clan, meaning the race that could manipulate blood.

This ability to manipulate blood was a skill they had created themselves.

Several other Blood Clan members were performing the same action; they could even still cast normal Professional skills.

But being able to control blood for attack was equivalent to having an extra skill for free, often giving them an advantageous position in combat.

Moreover, their food supply was abundant; unlike others, they did not worry about where their next meal would come from.

Their food was people.

The Treants' vines wrapped around him, but Han Zhigang shattered them instantly.

He was like a fierce beast released from its enclosure, intent on killing every existence here except himself.

However, within the large net woven from these vines, there were also many strands condensed from blood.

These blood strands were extremely tough, completely different from the vines.

Aided by the concealment of the vines, the blood net immediately covered everything around Han Zhigang.

The drastically transformed Han Zhigang clawed at the blood net, but only managed to deform the strands.

But he quickly grabbed the crimson strands, put them in his mouth, and violently shook his head, actually biting the blood threads clean through!

This sight caused the faces of the Blood Clan members to change drastically. They knew Han Zhigang could enter this state, but they didn't realize he would be so savage.

Han Zhigang, his mouth full of blood from biting through the strands, advanced slowly like a beast that had just successfully hunted its prey.

But all the surrounding Treants rushed forward, attempting to use their body weight to crush Han Zhigang down.

One, two, three... a dozen of them finally pinned Han Zhigang to the ground.

The Blood Clan members also seized this opportunity, quickly slashing their own bodies to let more blood flow out.

The blood transformed in their hands into even stronger, massive nets, which they cast over the area where the group of Treants was pressing down.

At the same time, these people immediately prepared their skills, waiting for the instant Han Zhigang showed his head to attack.

The Treants' suppression clearly didn't have much effect; a teeth-grinding friction sound arose, accompanied by banging noises.

The Blood Clan members focused their gaze, staring intently at the spot, ready to attack at any moment.

But just then, footsteps suddenly sounded, rapidly approaching their location.

One of them turned around, only to suddenly see a monstrously shaped great axe swinging toward him.

Behind the great axe was a young face.

"It's Wang Yan! Where are our people? Why didn't they stop him!"

A Blood Clan member reacted instantly, but Wang Yan had already killed three people in that short time.

Simultaneously, the Treants piled on top of each other suddenly began to tremble.

Next, an arm poked out from one of the Treants' bodies, followed by the other arm.

The two arms pulled hard toward both sides, tearing the Treant into two halves as easily as ripping a textbook.

Han Zhigang's figure climbed out, his chest slightly heaving, but he immediately charged toward them.

The surrounding Blood Clan members immediately released the skills they were holding, but they had just divided their fire to attack Wang Yan, and now, distracted, they couldn't inflict effective damage.

Seeing Han Zhigang in this state, Wang Yan immediately cursed inwardly:

"Damn it, I'm too late. That guy transformed after all."

Even as he said this, he was simultaneously dodging the Blood Clan members' skills and killing them along with the surrounding Treants.

Fortunately, Han Zhigang's current targets were the Blood Clan and the Treants; he showed no intention of attacking Wang Yan.

Working together, the Blood Clan members and the surrounding Treants quickly fell, proving no match for the pair.

However, Wang Yan's frown deepened. The number of Blood Clan members was definitely more than this, so why didn't they gather together and kill Han Zhigang first?

Suddenly, a fierce aura rapidly approached, forcing Wang Yan to raise his great axe to block.

A huge force sent Wang Yan flying backward. He looked and realized it was Han Zhigang attacking him.

"Han Zhigang! Wake up!"

Wang Yan's expression turned grim. He dodged Han Zhigang's attacks while shouting at him.

But Han Zhigang acted as if he hadn't heard, continuously launching attacks, every move filled with killing intent.

Wang Yan had no choice and tried to lure him toward the monster group, but suddenly felt a heavy blow to his back.

He was slammed directly into the ground, followed by a burst of laughter from behind him:

"Excellent. We only planned to force Han Zhigang to transform, but we didn't expect Wang Yan to show up too.

That's fine. Once we eat both of you, you won't be able to cause trouble anymore."

Wang Yan whipped his head around, only to see dozens of people suddenly step out from the monster group, all appearing human.

If there was anything unusual, it was that the whites of their eyes were slightly reddish, as if they had been soaked in blood.

These people were all members of the Blood Clan.

Just as Wang Yan was about to speak, he saw a dark shadow charging at him and immediately rolled to the side.

Just as he dodged, Han Zhigang landed instantly, plunging his arms into the ground and actually cracking the rubble with fine fissures.

"Do you think this Ancient Tree will let you go? You're just food stored for a longer time!" Wang Yan scrambled up, spat out the sand in his mouth, and shouted at the Blood Clan.

"That's not necessarily true. Once we kill you, we can raise those people in captivity.

Now that everyone's bodies have been strengthened, drawing a little blood every day certainly won't be a problem.

This way, we just have to wait until the next growth cycle of the Ancient Tree to gain a new source of blood.

Furthermore, I'm planning to give everyone two days off a week. Isn't that very humane?"

The leading Blood Clan member laughed loudly, but his voice carried an endless chill.
