211: Leaving Dragon Island

The destructive aura of the Dragon God Claw permeated the heavens and earth, like an invisible force, intimidating everything around it. That aura contained endless destruction and devastation, sending shivers down one's spine.

The other five Dragons in the battle felt this aura. They stopped their movements and looked up at the sky, only to see Lin Ye standing there, tightly gripping the Dragon God Claw, exuding majesty and power.

Viki's remains plummeted from the sky like a meteor, carrying a mournful roar that ripped through the air. The sound was heart-shattering, as if narrating the tragic and unwilling demise of the Dragon.

The surrounding earth trembled under this impact, dust and fragments were swept up, forming a huge vortex. The power was so immense that even the air seemed to be torn apart, creating a vacuum.

The other Dragons observed all of this from a distance, their eyes filled with awe and terror. They understood that Lin Ye's power had surpassed their imagination.

Last and another Red Dragon immediately turned and fled, knowing there was no chance of victory now that Viki was dead.

Lin Ye gasped for breath. After the Ying Dragon Bloodline was strengthened, the power of the Dragon God Claw was enhanced once again, even more powerful than when he had first used Fusion with Little Bai.

Three Gold Dragons flew to his side, looking at him with reverence.

“Lin Ye, let’s quickly clean up the battlefield and retreat,” Aaron suggested, now implicitly taking Lin Ye as their leader.

Lin Ye nodded.

The three Dragons and one human collected Viki’s body, then swept clean Viki’s lair, and finally left without looking back.

Soon after they left, a Red Dragon with a terrifying aura descended.

“Viki was killed just like that?” The Red Dragon’s voice held a hint of anger.

Obscure Dragon language emanated from his mouth, and under a mysterious power, the scene that had just occurred was replayed.

The Red Dragon watched the astonishing claw strike with shock, “What a terrifying ultimate skill! It was actually created by a weak Dragonkin. Raise the priority of this Dragonkin; tell all Five-Colored Dragons that they cannot contend with him if they encounter him.”

Behind the Red Dragon, a Black Dragon slowly bowed its Dragon head, indicating understanding.

...

Lin Ye’s feat of slaughtering Viki once again caused a sensation in Tanzania, and many Stellar River Level Dragons came to congratulate him.

Stellar River Level is already hailed as a Dragon Lord; a Dragon Lord is a hegemon in any place.

And whether it’s Five-Colored Dragons or Metal Dragons, Dragon Lord-level existences are not very common.

There are probably over a hundred Dragon Lord-level Metal Dragons, but most of them are in slumber, with only a handful of active Dragon Lord-level beings.

The Gold Dragon Overseer also personally came to commend Lin Ye.

To celebrate Lin Ye’s feat, the Dragons of Tanzania spontaneously organized a grand banquet. They brought out their best food and wine, preparing the most lavish feast for Lin Ye’s arrival.

When Lin Ye entered the banquet hall, the entire place immediately erupted, with thunderous applause and cheers rising and falling. The Dragons raised their cups to him, expressing their respect and gratitude.

At the banquet, many Dragons presented Lin Ye with various precious gifts, including gems, valuable metals, and rare plants. These gifts were an acknowledgment and appreciation from the Dragons for Lin Ye’s heroic actions.

...

It was time to leave.

Lin Ye looked back at Dragon Island with reluctance. This trip to Dragon Island had concluded perfectly, not only yielding a large number of breakthrough treasures but also evolving his bloodline and receiving inheritances.

And most importantly, he had gained the friendship of the Metal Dragons. If he ever needed a helper in the future, he imagined no Dragon would refuse.

However, there was no longer any need to stay. For his current self, Dragon Island served only one purpose: collecting treasures.

Unfortunately, one thing remained unaccomplished: establishing diplomatic relations with Dragon Island. He had originally planned to connect humanity and Dragon Island via Star Gate after establishing relations, to facilitate mutual exchange and promote the development of both races. However, after consulting the Gold Dragon Overseer, he learned that Dragon Island’s unique laws made it difficult for Star Gate to enter.

Although the Platinum Dragon God and the Mother of Evil Dragons were constantly at odds, they were consistent on the ownership of Dragon Island: Dragon Island belonged only to Dragons.

They jointly strengthened the space where Dragon Island was located, making long-distance travel methods like Star Gate ineffective.

Although there were some regrets, overall, this trip was very worthwhile.

Lin Ye returned to the human world.

Only a few months had passed on this trip, so nothing major had happened. Aside from accumulating some official duties to handle, Lin Ye had nothing else to do. Of course, he also didn't forget his newly accepted disciple and gave the Star Spirit to this disciple.

“How are the arrangements for the Orc Empire progressing?” Lin Ye asked his subordinate.

“Reporting, Chief, the operations in the Orc Empire are currently facing significant resistance,” the subordinate said with some embarrassment.

Lin Ye frowned slightly, “What exactly is the reason?”

“Because the Orc Empire’s level of enlightenment is too low, our incitement is difficult to spread widely. Coupled with their fervent belief in the Hunting Goddess, it’s very hard to influence their ideology,” the subordinate explained.

Lin Ye shook his head, not expecting religious belief to have such a benefit.

The rule of feudal societies was often difficult to shake, partly due to the influence of religious belief and the ignorance of the people. Religious belief was often closely intertwined with political power, becoming one of the tools used by rulers to maintain their reign. At the same time, due to low education levels and limited information, many people lacked an understanding of the world and the ability to make judgments, making them susceptible to deception and manipulation by rulers.

However, this did not mean that the rule of feudal societies was unshakable. When people suffered to a certain extent, they would rise up in rebellion and overthrow the old ruling order.

The Orc Empire’s introduction of Angels, while causing the Orc Empire to lose some sovereignty and independence, did indeed stabilize its rule, indoctrinate its citizens, and even, to a certain extent, alleviate internal conflicts within the Orc Empire.

Lin Ye rubbed his forehead. However, not succeeding wasn’t necessarily a bad thing. A low level of enlightenment also meant that the average strength of the Orc Empire was not strong.

Only sufficient education could produce enough talent to develop technology, economy, and all other aspects, leading to prosperity and strength.

Lin Ye considered his previous life, somewhat hesitant about whether he should use some 'evil' methods to open the door of feudalism. This method was known to any transmigrator, but doing so would go against his conscience. His main goal was to protect humanity, not to destroy the Orcs.

“Chief, however, we discovered a problem during this period,” the subordinate said.

“Oh? What problem?” Lin Ye’s heart stirred, wondering if this problem could be a solution.

“We found that the spread of the Hunting Goddess in the Orc Empire doesn’t seem to be very smooth. The Orcs mainly focus on agriculture and nomadic herding, and hunting seems to be primarily a game for the nobility,” the subordinate explained.
