339: European Competition

Just as Lin Ye was about to lie down and cultivate after handing things over to his clone, Osai stopped him.

"You're not planning to just cultivate like this, are you?" Osai stared at him, disbelieving.

This kid, he's such a homebody.

"If not like this, then how?" Lin Ye looked confused.

His Laws weren't complete yet, and the Destiny Law hadn't undergone Fusion. If he didn't wait patiently, was he supposed to run around instead? With the assistance of the Prophecy Book Space, he figured his Laws would soon be complete.

"How can you achieve anything by just staying cooped up? I'll take you to experience the myriad aspects of life." Osai was anxious. If Lin Ye stayed home all the time, wouldn't he be unable to wander around?

Lin Ye rolled his eyes.

It was normal for this Guardian Spirit to want to wander after being cooped up for so long. So, he left the Legacy Hall to his clone and took the Prophecy Book to cultivate himself.

"Alright, alright! Clone, let's go, let's go!" Osai couldn't help but howl with delight.

His heart was like a wild horse unbridled.

The clone was speechless. "You at least have to tell me a direction, right?"

Wandering around aimlessly? What idiotic behavior.

If given a choice, it was always better to set a direction and proceed, preferably in a way that benefited oneself.

Osai and Lin Ye had spent some time together, so Osai naturally knew his personality.

If you don't dangle a carrot, the donkey won't pull the mill.

So he said, "Putting aside everything else, your nether key isn't developed enough. If you use the nether key to go to the Underworld, you could make a fortune as a middleman. Although the Milky Way doesn't have many valuable resources, you can get them from other star systems."

"I'm not short on money right now," Lin Ye said.

"Your perspective is too narrow, too narrow. Right now, you lack nothing, but what about after you become a Dominator? Dominator artifacts are the first point. After becoming a Dominator, your combat power will be formidable, reaching close to three stars, and you'll quickly surpass it. It will be difficult to use one-star artifacts; you'll need at least two-star artifacts, and the materials for two-star artifacts are not cheap."

"Furthermore, after becoming a Dominator, you'll need to strengthen your Divine Kingdom, and that all costs money. Ordinary money won't even work; you'll need the universal currency of Dominators, void stone."

"void stone?"

"That's right. Money can't buy void stone, and ordinary items can't be exchanged for void stone either. Your Faith God artifacts are trash; I'm afraid ten of them wouldn't even be able to exchange for one void stone."

Lin Ye mused over this.

From this perspective, he really needed to plan carefully.

At his current pace, he could soar to great heights in at most ten thousand years.

"That makes sense, but I'll tell you this upfront: don't trick me," Lin Ye said. He wasn't worried about Osai's knowledge; the knowledge in that guy's mind was probably superior to that of most people in even the largest clans.

But he was just afraid Osai would get playful.

Putting himself in Osai's shoes, Lin Ye himself couldn't bear staying in that Legacy Hall for billions of years.

"Don't worry, we Guardian Spirits have our own bottom line. No one likes a Guardian Spirit with poor moral character," Osai patted his chest and guaranteed.

"Since we have the nether key, the Underworld is naturally the best place to go. If we plan it well, there are many opportunities in the Underworld," Osai pondered.

Lin Ye spread his hands. He couldn't do these things himself, so he relied on Osai to arrange them.

"First, let's go see which Dragon Demon is guarding the area you're in," Osai muttered to himself.

As if making a travel plan, Osai took out a crystal. Inside the crystal was a structural map of the Underworld.

Osai waved his hand, and the crystal projected the map above.

"The entrance where this nether key is located is called Netherworld, and there are many undead creatures there."

That was all the information Lin Ye could provide.

"That's not easy to handle. There are many entrances with undead creatures. Let's prepare and then pinpoint our location once we arrive," Osai put away the map.

Speaking of preparation, there actually wasn't much to prepare.

Even if something was missing, they could just teleport back through space.

Lin Ye had wanted to buy some supplies to be a middleman, but Osai said that this mere Milky Way had nothing good that could make money in the Underworld.

So they traveled light.

Upon reaching Netherworld.

Osai took out a crystal ball, and the crystal ball emitted a faint glow.

"So it's here, in the world controlled by Auguston, the God of Sky. I wonder which Dragon Demon's territory it connects to. If it's a powerful Dragon Demon, then we'll have a good show."

"Auguston, the God of Sky?"

"Oh, I forgot to tell you. The Star Realm is not like the universe, where all regions are together. It's more like a honeycomb, with different small worlds separated by world barriers. The Upper Realm is the Celestial Realm, and the Lower Realm is the Underworld. And the Wizard World is one of the larger small worlds among them."

Lin Ye had known before that there were many small worlds in the Star Realm, but he didn't know the specific concept. With Osai's explanation, he immediately understood the specific structure of the Star Realm.

Lin Ye took out the nether key, and the Nether Ship Space was immediately summoned. Piloting the Nether Ship, after a long time, he arrived at the Underworld.

Osai took out the map again.

"It's Osai's territory. Osai is the 57th Dragon Demon, leopard-shaped. This guy is very poor, not good at side businesses, only knows how to fight and kill."

Osai's face was full of bad luck. The personality of a Dragon Demon often influenced its subjects, which was a form of political correctness.

"Then what should we do?" Lin Ye had been catching up on a lot of information about Dragon Demons along the way, so he naturally knew what kind of existence this one was.

Among Dragon Demons, most were versatile, and strength was only one part of them.

Some could divine, some could brew wine, some could turn stone into gold, some were learned, some were good at education...

Osai also had a bit of a side business, such as being good at science.

But did you expect this stuff to circulate in the Underworld? Even Dragon Demons looked down on Rune Technology, let alone pure science.

That's why Osai said this guy only knew how to fight and kill.

After all, pure science really wasn't that great.

"It's fine. The resources in this guy's territory are still very abundant; he's just not good at developing them," Osai waved his hand, indicating that he would handle it.

"It's a pity it's not one of the Dragon Demons who are on good terms with the Great Wizard. If it were them, they would probably take extra care of you out of respect for the Great Wizard," Osai said regretfully.

Great Wizard Lan traveled through countless worlds, so his circle of friends was naturally very wide.

Among the Dragon Demons, there were a few who were like-minded friends with the Great Wizard. Even though the Great Wizard had passed away many years ago, this kindness still existed.

Under Osai's guidance, Lin Ye drove the Nether Ship Space, sailing along the Nether River.

His previous premonition was not wrong; not far from the Nether River, there was actually a gathering place for Dragon Demons.

Dragon Demons were chaotic; they advanced by fighting.

But order still existed. Every exceptionally powerful Dragon Demon would establish their own group, which was what they were most passionate about: power and authority.

Undoubtedly, what was before Lin Ye now was a city established by a powerful Dragon Demon.

"You should disguise yourself first," Osai said.

Lin Ye nodded.

If he entered as a human, he would probably be treated as walking meat.

So, necessary disguise was still required.

This disguise technique was created by the Great Wizard; after all, without some transformation spell, how could one get by in the outside world?

Lin Ye had already obtained a transformation spell through the Great Wizard's legacy.

Lin Ye activated his Star Power, and his body began to transform. After a distortion, black scales, ferocious wings, and domineering demonic energy—he became an Abyssal Dragon Demon.

A top-tier Dragon Demon, a Dragon Demon formed from an Abyssal Dragon.
