232: Hate

Undead aura encircled the massive summoning formation, and a plump, massive leg stepped out.

“Thump.”

When that plump giant leg landed, the ground emitted a tremendous sound.

Its plump belly was like a small mountain, its thick limbs were like towering skyscrapers, its pale skin exuded a suffocating stench, yellow-white fat oozed from it, and its body was stitched together, like a patchwork of dismembered corpses, its height of over twenty thousand meters reaching into the clouds.

“You will die by my darling’s hands,” the Lich King cackled uncontrollably.

“The Lich King actually has such terrifying means, to be able to summon such a terrifying Abomination.” The other three Undead were inwardly astonished.

Abomination, a type of Undead creature, a top-tier Undead.

In the Netherworld, there are no Abominations; the birth mechanism of the Netherworld cannot produce creatures like Abominations.

An Abomination is a gigantic Undead creature pieced together from countless corpses. Due to its unique birth mechanism, it possesses an enormous body that breaks through limits. It abhors all living beings and constantly desires to slaughter them.

Lin Ye’s expression was grim; the Abomination’s aura had already reached Star River Peak. No wonder they all said spellcasting Undead were strong; he had truly witnessed it now.

The Abomination attacked, its giant palm, like a small mountain, slammed down. Lin Ye and his clones hastily dodged.

The Abomination displayed a flexibility completely unsuited to its size, its hands striking out, leaving afterimages.

“Law Manifestation of Heaven and Earth.” Lin Ye and his clones removed their restrictions and grew larger.

When facing the other five Undead, he hadn't used his main body’s immense size to counter them, as they hadn't used theirs either.

But now, he had no choice but to unleash his full power.

Logically, the best way to deal with the Abomination’s massive physical body would be to rely on small, agile movements.

But alas, this fatty was too agile.

Dragon God Claw appeared simultaneously, fusing into a giant claw tens of thousands of meters long, colliding with the Abomination’s attack.

The Dragon Claw was crushed like decaying wood, and Lin Ye and his clones spurted blood.

“Escape.”

Knowing that he was outmatched, Lin Ye had no intention of continuing the fight. He turned and ran.

Spirit Energy - Origin Liberation was burning his physical body, Star Power, and Soul. It couldn’t last long, and even Lin Ye, unleashing all his abilities, still couldn’t contend with the Abomination. Staying was meaningless.

In fact, the best time for him to retreat was right when he first activated Spirit Energy - Origin Liberation, but he had been greedy, attempting to counter-kill the five Undead.

In reality, had it not been for the Lich King’s burst of power to summon the Abomination, his plan might truly have succeeded.

Unfortunately, who could have imagined that the Lich King could summon such a powerful Undead?

The Abomination’s pursuit speed was as fast as lightning, sweeping forth like a gale. Lin Ye ran at full speed in his liberated state, but the distance between him and the Abomination could only barely be maintained; he wasn't shaking it off by much.

Wherever the Abomination passed, the earth trembled violently, as if the apocalypse had arrived. Mountains collapsed, boulders rolled down, and the ground cracked into deep ravines. Every step it took brought endless destruction and ruin.

When the Abomination began to run, the entire world shook. Its enormous body was like a moving mountain, causing an earth-shattering earthquake. The surrounding Undead were terrified, trying to escape this dreadful scene, but their efforts were in vain. Many Undead were buried deep underground in the earthquake or crushed by collapsing mountains, instantly losing their Life.

And on the Abomination’s shoulder, the four Undead watched this scene, as if they had reached a climax, their Soul flames dancing joyfully.

“Hahaha, the Heavenly Dao has cycles, who can the heavens spare?”

“It’s useless. Once your burst skill wears off, it will be your death.”

“This kid’s endurance is really strong. Everyone, give me some face; his corpse will be mine.”

“Hmm, this time it’s all thanks to you. The spoils of war are naturally yours to decide.”

Lin Ye was somewhat annoyed. He recalled his clones. Clones not imbued with a sub-Soul could not be too far from the main body and thus could not serve the purpose of luring away enemies.

“It seems I can only do what I usually do,” Lin Ye thought helplessly.

This “usual” way, of course, was to dive into the River Styx.

That Inheritance Land, after being transformed by Lin Ye, became his sanctuary, allowing him to escape multiple times.

The burning speed of Origin Liberation was getting slower and slower, and Lin Ye’s strength was rapidly declining. Even with his deep foundation, he couldn't endure such abuse.

But the River Styx had arrived.

Without the slightest hesitation, Lin Ye plunged into the River Styx and quickly swam towards the Inheritance Land.

“Hmph, did you think we weren’t prepared?” the Lich King snorted coldly.

“The Abomination isn’t afraid of this stuff.”

The Abomination leaped into the River Styx; the water only reached its waist. The River Styx water corroded the Abomination’s physical body and Soul, but the Abomination was too enormous. Although the contact area was also much larger, overall, it would take a considerable amount of time for the River Styx water to wear down the Abomination.

The effect of the River Styx water on the Soul was also very slow on the Abomination. Constructed from countless corpses, the Abomination’s Soul power was quite mottled, making it difficult for the River Styx water to affect it.

Lin Ye hadn't even submerged into the Inheritance Ground yet when the Abomination’s massive foot already stomped down.

The Abomination’s gigantic foot, like a small mountain, descended with the force of Mount Tai, fiercely stomping down on Lin Ye! Lin Ye was stomped into the riverbed like a broken rag, sinking deep into the riverbed mud. This stomp from the Abomination splashed up sky-high water columns, and the River Styx churned with huge waves.

In an instant, an indescribable sharp pain swept over him, as if thousands of steel needles pierced his body simultaneously, or as if raging flames burned within him. Lin Ye felt every bone and every muscle in his body groaning in pain, seemingly on the verge of falling apart at any moment. His lungs, moreover, were almost unable to breathe due to the immense pressure, his vision blurred, and his consciousness gradually faded.

Don’t die, hold on.

Lin Ye, relying on his strong will to survive, struggled desperately. The Abomination seemed to want to stomp again, slowly lifting its colossal leg, which was like a pillar supporting the heavens, then stomping down again like lightning.

Fortunately, Lin Ye dodged it. He plunged into the Inheritance Land.

When Lin Ye’s aura disappeared, the Abomination froze. The Undead on its shoulder were bewildered.

“What’s going on? Why did the Abomination stop?” the Screaming Banshee asked.

The Lich King began to sense, communicating with the Abomination, whose consciousness was muddled, with great effort.

“This kid’s aura disappeared?” The Lich King was surprised. They couldn’t sense what was happening inside the River Styx, and the Abomination only knew the situation by its legs deep in the water.

Calling them legs, they actually included various organ tissues, which was the power of the pieced-together Abomination.

“Did that kid die?” an Undead Knight asked.

“No, he disappeared.” The Lich King frowned. He began to control the Abomination to search for Lin Ye on the riverbed.

After a search by the Abomination, the entrance to the Inheritance Land appeared before the three of them.
