36: Call me Jing-sama (Happy New Year)

This past month was undoubtedly Lin Ye’s most enjoyable one; it felt great to be carried by his Grandmaster.

Thinking that his Grandmaster was about to leave, he could only shed tears of sorrow, full of reluctance.

Magic University had started, but since he was following his mentor for practice this semester, it didn't matter whether it started or not; Lin Ye continued to cultivate at Prosperity Group.

Lin Ye felt unmotivated to cultivate because of the news that his Grandmaster was about to leave.

The feeling of being carried by his Grandmaster was too good; he was already addicted.

“Grandmaster, are you leaving?” Lin Ye stopped training and asked.

His Grandmaster was holding a book and reading it. Although Lin Ye didn't understand why he would read paper books when there were optical computers, some people indeed preferred paper for learning.

Chen Qingping put down the book, feeling a bit like laughing, “Hmm, what? You don’t want your Grandmaster to leave?”

Lin Ye nodded, “Yes, I don’t want Grandmaster to leave.”

“Alright, then come with Grandmaster to practice at Beijing University.”

“Ah?”

“What? Unwilling?”

“No, but Magic University is about to start, isn't it?”

“There are no school tasks to participate in this semester anyway; you’re just following your mentor to learn.”

“Is that really possible, Grandmaster?” Lin Ye’s eyes lit up.

Chen Qingping nodded.

“Don’t worry, I’ve already spoken with Fish Brother, and he agreed.”

Lin Ye’s mouth curved upwards, wanting to celebrate, but thinking that it might be unfair to his Fish Brother, he suppressed his smile and pretended to be sad, “Alas, now I’m a bit reluctant to leave Fish Brother.”

Chen Qingping chuckled, “Alright, I know you, kid. You’re happier cultivating joyfully than anything else.”

Lin Ye scratched his head, feeling a bit embarrassed.

Returning to the dormitory, he quickly packed his luggage.

What Magic University? Not familiar. I am a Beijing University person; my favorite is Beijing University.

He didn't have many things, just a few clothes to pack.

The next day, at the maglev train station.

Jiang Xiaoyu was seeing them off.

Jiang Xiaoyu suppressed the upward curve of his mouth, “Master, you’re leaving. Alas, I’m so reluctant to see you go.”

He said that, but in his heart, he was overjoyed; it was good that Master was leaving.

Lin Ye also feigned reluctance, “Fish Brother, I’m going to cultivate with Grandmaster. I’m so reluctant to leave you.”

Both of them were possessed by acting spirits, with astonishing performances, but Chen Qingping was extremely shrewd and didn't expose them, watching them exchange acting skills with amusement.

“Alright, I’ll take Lin Ye to cultivate for half a year. You yourself should cultivate diligently, and also, I’ve seen that girl, Xu Qian; she’s a good child. Since you’ve chosen her, treat her well. If you dare to be a scumbag again, this old man will break your legs,” Chen Qingping threatened.

He was naturally referring to Jiang Xiaoyu’s current girlfriend, Xu Qian.

Jiang Xiaoyu immediately became serious, “Don’t worry, Master, you take Lin Ye to cultivate well. This time, I’m serious.”

However, a chill rose in his heart; he knew best what the touch of the Seven Wolves was like, having intimately encountered dozens of Seven Wolves in the past.

Lin Ye was curious, what did “being a scumbag again” mean? Although he was very curious about the story behind it, he didn’t dare to ask.

They said their goodbyes, but after getting on the train, Lin Ye vaguely felt Jiang Xiaoyu’s mouth curve upwards a few degrees.

When his Grandmaster took him on the train, they naturally didn't ride in the ordinary cabin, but in a special train exclusively for VIPs.

Seventh-tier Martial Artists could fly, their flight speed exceeding that of trains, and they could even survive in space, making them an unrivaled force in cosmic War.

Not to mention ninth-tier Martial Artists.

However, in the cities of Xia Country, it was forbidden for Martial Artists to fly, as this was not conducive to social order.

Therefore, in order not to affect the travel of these powerful individuals, special trains for the strong were arranged.

Soon, the special train arrived in the capital.

The capital was different from the Magic City; the Magic City was full of modernity and technology, while the capital, on this basis, retained many ancient buildings.

The one who came to pick up Lin Ye and the others was a man who looked very shrewd and capable.

“Teacher, I’m here to pick you up.”

The man looked at Lin Ye.

“You must be Lin Ye. I am your Third Senior Martial Brother, Fang Xiang.”

Lin Ye quickly bowed and said, “Hello, Third Senior Martial Brother, I am Lin Ye.”

Chen Qingping explained, “Your Grandmaster, I, have six disciples. Your Master is the youngest one. Currently, only your Third Senior Martial Brother, Fang Xiang, is with me; my other disciples all have their own careers.”

Lin Ye understood.

The three chatted along the way, and Third Senior Martial Brother asked Lin Ye many things.

Upon arriving at Beijing University, his Grandmaster instructed Third Senior Martial Brother to take good care of him and then left. He was the dean of the Martial Artist Academy at Beijing University and also led many projects, so he was quite busy.

He had been to the Magic City for this month, and although most matters were handled on the optical computer, there were still many that required his personal presence.

Third Senior Martial Brother took Lin Ye to familiarize himself with the Beijing University campus and then issued him an intern card. With this card, he could access most areas freely.

He instructed Lin Ye, “My disciple will take you to familiarize yourself with the rest. You can see your dormitory information by logging into the intern card.”

After giving instructions, he also left.

He was also a very busy person, being his Master’s most capable assistant, so he naturally had many things to do.

Before leaving, he took a photo of Lin Ye, sent it to the group, and then started flooding the group chat.

Soon after, a great beauty arrived.

“You are Lin Ye? I am Jiang Xin, a disciple of your Third Senior Martial Brother, Fang Xiang.”

Jiang Xin was tall and had a strong big-sister vibe.

“Hello, Senior Sister Jiang, I am Lin Ye. My Master is Grandmaster’s sixth disciple, Jiang Xiaoyu.”

Jiang Xin nodded.

“Follow me. I’ll take you to familiarize yourself with the place. Although my Master has already shown you some basic areas, there are still many places you need to get familiar with.”

Lin Ye followed behind Jiang Xin, only feeling that her curves were very good.

“Senior Sister, which disciple are you of Third Senior Martial Brother?”

Jiang Xin turned back and replied, “I am Master’s second disciple, currently a junior. Master currently only has one disciple at school.”

Lin Ye understood.

“Master said you have great talent. Come, let’s have a practice match.” Jiang Xin stopped, eager to try.

Only then did Lin Ye realize that they had unknowingly arrived at a ring area, where many rings were in use.

“Let me tell you first, I am a Fourth-tier Martial Artist.”

Lin Ye nodded, “Alright, then please guide me, Senior Sister.”

He also wanted to see the gap between him and a Fourth-tier Martial Artist now.

Once they got on the ring, many people who knew Jiang Xin noticed them and gathered around to greet them.

“Sister Xin, who are you sparring with?”

“Jiang Xin, guiding a junior?”

“Xinxin, going out for dinner together today?”

There were quite a few people, and Lin Ye felt that Jiang Xin had great charm and was very popular.

But then again, it made sense; his Third Senior Martial Brother was an Eighth-tier Martial Artist, and only took two disciples at eighty years old, so the quality of his disciples must not be bad.

“This is my Martial Uncle’s disciple, here to cultivate for a few months,” Jiang Xin explained casually.

“Haha, Sister Xin, bullying your fellow disciple, aren’t you?”

“Junior, which year are you in?”

“Xinxin is so loving.”

Jiang Xin glared at the person who said the last sentence, “Yang Feifei, get lost, stop talking to me in that disgusting tone.”

The simp Yang Feifei looked hurt.

After warning the simp, she turned back and asked, “Junior Brother, which year are you in?”

She didn't know much about the Sixth Martial Uncle’s situation, only that he was in the Magic City.

Lin Ye replied, “Senior Sister, I’m a freshman, a Third-tier Martial Artist.”

Jiang Xin nodded. A Third-tier Martial Artist as a freshman, his talent was not bad.
