287: Create a martial arts school

The reason Lin Ye wanted to create a martial arts academy, besides aligning with his aspirations, was primarily because he was out of money.

The Original Universe was too much of a drain; the resources needed for each minor level were ten times that of the previous one.

In other words, for Lin Ye to break through to Stellar River Level Nine, he would need to spend one hundred quadrillion, or one hundred trillion.

.........

The tax revenue from Serpentarius A District for one hundred thousand years would only be enough for him to cultivate to Stellar River Level Six.

Since he started cultivating, Lin Ye was so poor he even considered stealing money. Poor scholars, rich warriors—even those involved in research, no matter how much they spent, couldn't compare to someone like Lin Ye.

Although there was the Galaxy Battlefield later to alleviate a lot of resource pressure, Lin Ye didn't expect to rely entirely on it, as the exact amount he could gain there was still an unknown.

........

Getting back to the main topic.

Establishing a martial arts academy wasn't easy; just because you were the strongest in the world didn't mean the academy you founded would be the strongest martial arts academy in the world.

Education and strength were related, but not that closely. Strength was merely the foundation of education; how to teach according to individual aptitude was the essence of education.

What to teach? How to teach? Why teach? These questions needed to be addressed by teaching according to the student's individual aptitude.

Therefore, if Lin Ye wanted to create a martial arts academy, relying solely on him was far from enough. How many people could he teach by himself? To make money, building a brand was the ultimate way.

And to build a branded martial arts academy, it needed to have its unique characteristics and competitive advantages.

Lin Ye didn't plan to just jump in blindly.

"So there are this many martial arts academies," Lin Ye said, calling up a market report. Not to mention the entire Galaxy Territory, even in Serpentarius A District alone, martial arts academies were as numerous as ox hair.

Not only martial arts academies, but also mage associations suitable for magic-based professions.

Such as Hongsheng Martial Arts Academy, Liyuan Martial Arts Academy, and so on.

And among Lin Ye's fellow disciples, quite a few had opened martial arts academies to make money.

The disciples of the Galaxy Lord were all the most talented individuals in the Galaxy Territory, so opening a martial arts academy was naturally not a problem. Of course, many of them were merely nominal, not personally involved. Using the reputation of the Galaxy Lord's direct disciples made it much easier to recruit students.

"It's too chaotic; there are hardly any that can operate across constellations," Lin Ye exclaimed.

The water in this market was very deep and very exclusive. For example, if a martial arts academy primarily operated in Taurus, it would be labeled as being from Taurus, and when expanding to other constellations, it would face obstruction from local natives.

"I'm thinking too far ahead. Forget about cross-Star Domain Level, it's a question whether I can even get one started in Serpentarius A District," Lin Ye shook his head, secretly laughing at his own naivety.

Martial arts academies were divided into levels, from one to five. Level One taught below Star Level, Level Two taught Star Level, Level Three taught Galaxy Level, Level Four taught Star Domain Level, and Level Five taught Stellar River Level.

Martial arts academies capable of teaching Stellar River Level were rare; there were only two in the entire Galaxy Territory.

"If I'm going to do it, I'll do it big. My combat power has reached Faith God Level, so I should at least create a Level Five martial arts academy. After gaining fame, I can send disciples to open chain stores," Lin Ye thought to himself.

It's just that he was only at Stellar River Level Two now, so it would be hard to be convincing.

It was indeed a headache; making money wasn't that easy. However, level was only so much; combat power was the most convincing.

"First, I need to find a talent—no, a team to help me create it."

For such a team, there should be no shortage; the more society progresses, the more specialized the division of labor becomes.

Lin Ye decided to ask his fellow disciples who had opened martial arts academies.

Most of the Galaxy Lord's disciples were quite idle. With ample resources and sufficient talent, many could quickly cultivate to the peak of Stellar River Level. Only the path of laws required some time. After laws could no longer be advanced, some chose to venture out, seeking opportunities for breakthrough between life and death.

Most, however, chose to proceed step by step, seeking opportunities for breakthrough.

So it wasn't difficult for Lin Ye to find these senior disciples. Except for a few who were in seclusion or exploring, the others all came out of respect.

"To all my senior brothers and sisters, thank you for gracing my banquet," Lin Ye said, cupping his fists. This banquet was held online; the virtual world was no different from the outside, and it didn't hinder the fostering of relationships.

"Not at all, not at all. We must show respect when junior brother invites us," said a burly man with a tiger-like back and bear-like waist.

"Junior brother is too polite. As fellow disciples, we should indeed foster more relationships," said a woman, looking heroic and spirited.

"We're only a few hundred thousand years older than you. In terms of strength, we should be calling you senior brother," a tall and sturdy man chuckled.

"Exactly, exactly."

"Hahaha, junior brother is too polite."

Lin Ye also laughed along; the camaraderie among fellow disciples was quite good. After everyone had finished laughing, one person asked, "May I ask why junior brother has gathered us here?"

Everyone looked at Lin Ye. They knew Lin Ye's personality: he buried himself in cultivation, and even his clones were constantly venturing out—a model worker-level existence. Normally, if a banquet wasn't very important, he would decline if possible. This was Lin Ye's first time initiating a banquet.

"Junior brother wants to create a martial arts academy in the sealed territory, so I'm asking my senior brothers and sisters some questions," Lin Ye said, a little embarrassed. It was awkward to suddenly contact people for help when he usually didn't maintain relationships.

"So that's it. Junior brother, feel free to ask."

"A small matter, no problem at all."

"Senior sister has a little experience in this area, junior brother, feel free to ask."

The senior brothers and sisters were all very enthusiastic; investing in a junior brother with exceptional talent would yield huge returns.

Even if junior brother couldn't break through to a Sovereign, with his Sovereign-level combat power, he would be enough to dominate the Galaxy Territory for millions of years.

In fact, after the news of Lin Ye's four-law Fusion spread, many people believed he would find it difficult to break through. A single law was already fraught with difficulties, let alone a four-law Fusion.

But no one dared to speak ill of him; even if Lin Ye didn't break through, he would still be a top expert among top experts, below three individuals, and above billions of others.

Hearing his senior brothers and sisters speak so openly, Lin Ye spoke freely.

In fact, rather than asking for information, it was more like his senior brothers and sisters were telling him about their resource channels.

This was no small favor, as it concerned their livelihoods. So Lin Ye noted down each favor, vowing to repay them when his senior brothers and sisters needed it.

"Junior brother, let me tell you, low-end business is not easy to do. Not only is it difficult to set up, but management is even harder, and there are a bunch of 'wild' coaches competing for the low-end market."

"Yes, the best performer in the current low-end market is Hongsheng Martial Arts Academy, which relies on large capital injection, an industrialized model, and small profits but quick turnover. Their boss is said to be from the family of a senior brother of ours who passed away tens of millions of years ago, and they have been operating for many years. Relying on that senior brother's reputation, they have invited many of our fellow disciples to endorse them."

"Yes, the low-end market is not easy. Most of us still operate Level Three and Level Four martial arts academies; Level One and Level Two are difficult."

"Junior brother, what level do you want to do?"
