326: The Bardock Family's Intentions

Lin Ye stood before the Badak Family mansion, his gaze drawn to the magnificent and imposing architecture before him.

The mansion was adorned with carved beams and painted rafters, exquisitely beautiful, and two tall, mighty alchemy creatures stood guard at the entrance, like divine protectors.

Lin Ye spoke in fluent Wizard language, "Please contact your noble steward; I have important matters to discuss."

As soon as his words fell, an immensely powerful Stellar River Level aura erupted from him, shining brilliantly like a dazzling star.

These two alchemy creatures were exceptionally strong, both possessing Stellar River Level combat power, but under Lin Ye's terrifying aura and pressure, they couldn't help but tremble, immediately understanding how they should respond.

One of the alchemy creatures respectfully replied, "Please wait a moment," then sent out a mysterious message.

Lin Ye quietly gazed at the alchemy creatures before him, evaluating them in his mind. Although these alchemy creatures appeared to be ordinary Star River Peak powerhouses on the surface, their strength should not be underestimated. Especially their incredibly tough bodies, which were even stronger than a Master's.

Just then, another alchemy creature spoke, "Grand Steward Budala invites you in."

Lin Ye nodded slightly, indicating his understanding.

One of them led Lin Ye into the Badak Family's interior.

As a Wizard Family, they possessed their own small world.

The mansion outside was merely their facade; the small world was the Badak Family's true base.

Soon, Lin Ye was brought before the steward.

Though called a steward, the person was quite extraordinary.

His aura reached the Master Level.

A Master Level steward?

Lin Ye marveled inwardly.

They were truly wealthy and powerful.

"Are you the one who wishes to see me?" Budala asked.

Though called a steward, he was actually a direct descendant of the Badak Family, but due to his limited talent, he voluntarily chose to help manage the family.

"Lin Ye, disciple of the Galaxy Lord of the Galaxy Territory, Galaxy, Cetut Galaxy Group, extends his highest respect to the Badak Family," Lin Ye said.

"State your purpose," Budala said calmly.

He was well-traveled and naturally knew Lin Ye's background.

"The Galaxy Lord? That six-star Master?" he thought to himself.

A six-star Master was a top-tier combatant even in their family; he himself was merely the most ordinary one-star Master.

He wondered what this disciple had come for, as the Badak Family had no prior connection with him. However, if it was a minor matter, he could certainly offer some assistance.

"I am being pursued by a War God Clan Master, so I am forced to seek the protection of your esteemed family," Lin Ye stated concisely.

"War God Clan?" Budala knew which clan that was.

The War God Clan, the arch-rivals of the God Race.

Although the universe was relatively "barren," its combat power was strong, so he had a deep understanding of the forces within the universe.

"What level of strength?" Budala asked.

He did not act rashly. For a steward, it was necessary to weigh the pros and cons.

Although the War God Clan was fierce and should not be offended rashly, if they were not too concerned about this matter, helping would be fine. But if it was a critical matter, he could not get involved.

"Master Four-star," Lin Ye replied.

Budala frowned; this combat power had exceeded his expectations.

A Master Four-star combat power, while easy for their family to handle, the main issue was the attitude.

To send a Master Four-star powerhouse to kill this Stellar River Level individual, it suggested that the War God Clan attached great importance to this matter.

However, if they helped, it would also be very beneficial to the Badak Family.

That was a six-star Master, almost a top-tier Master Level combatant.

Master Nine-star, that lofty nine-star, no one had reached it; eight-star was already the limit, and seven-star could dominate a region.

Most of the top-tier Masters in various forces were seven-star, like their Badak Family.

But as the highest combat power, how could they act casually? So six-star was the highest existence Budala could ever see.

After a moment of thought, Budala chose a prudent approach.

"The War God Clan is an existence that our family cannot afford to offend, so we cannot offend them rashly," Budala said.

Lin Ye's heart sank.

But Budala's tone shifted.

"However, we can help you privately, for example, by telling you some confidential information that our clan possesses to aid your escape."

Budala's compromise made Lin Ye breathe a sigh of relief. If he had to escape by himself, he could only follow the guidance of the Destiny Law and pick a direction to flee.

Now, although the Badak Family could not directly help, they could provide some information.

With this information, coupled with the guidance of the Destiny Law, his survival rate increased significantly.

Budala transmitted a memory into Lin Ye's mind through a spell.

It contained a lot of information about the Badak Family's territory.

"Thank you. If I am fortunate enough to survive this time, I will certainly repay you handsomely." Lin Ye bowed and then bid farewell, as every second counted now.

Budala looked at Lin Ye's retreating figure, though he wasn't very optimistic.

"A Stellar River Level escaping from a Master Four-star combatant is a fantasy," he shook his head.

"Goodwill has been extended; that's enough. Whether he lives or dies now is none of my business."

Despite saying so, he still used a bit of his authority to keep an eye on Lin Ye.

He was very curious about what would happen next.

.......

Lin Ye left the Badak Family and rode Little White in one direction.

According to the information from the Badak Family, the most suitable place to hide from pursuit was an Inheritance Land.

"I didn't expect the Inheritance of that Destiny Law to be here."

Lin Ye felt a little excited.

The Destiny Law had always been the most difficult of all his laws to cultivate. With the Original Universe, his comprehension progress of the Destiny Law was not bad, but its application was like using gold as a brick.

Moreover, Fusion had always been a problem. After the four laws were fused, he had no clue how to integrate the Destiny Law.

Perhaps this was where his chance for survival lay.

The Inheritance Ground of the Destiny Law was called Crystal Valley.

It was a place that produced highly valuable magic crystals.

It used to be a sacred place for many adventurers to explore because there was a powerful existence skilled in the Destiny Law.

The owner of the Destiny Law was definitely wealthy.

However, after several searches, it was found that the requirements to enter the Inheritance Ground were too high.

According to the Badak Family's records, one needed to be under ten thousand years old, skilled in the Destiny Law, and at least Stellar River Level.

These requirements were too high, and very few people could enter.

Even with high requirements, the trials were also very difficult.

Therefore, there were very few entrants, and none received the full Inheritance; only a small number obtained some treasures.

Gradually, no one visited here anymore, and it was designated as a resource extraction point.

After receiving Aurora's information, Lin Ye had planned to come back when his strength was sufficient, as he was still far from ten thousand years old at that time. He never expected to stumble upon this place by accident now.
