330: I received another bonus.

The next morning, after learning Liu Zheng's train ticket time, Yang Qi went to the town's seafood specialty store and bought some dried goods, including dried fish, dried shrimp, and dried Squid.

At the entrance of the high-speed rail station,

"Big Brother Nickname, call me if you run into any difficulties. You left in such a hurry that I didn't have time to prepare a gift. I'll mail you some fresh seafood this afternoon."

Yang Qi said to Liu Zheng and his wife.

"You've already given us so much, don't trouble yourself further. Thank you, Brother A Qi, we'll be going now."

Liu Zheng thanked him sincerely, then looked at Liu Yan, who was saying goodbye to Bai Xue and Yao Shanshan.

"Have a safe trip!"

"Thank you, goodbye!"

Inside the train carriage, Liu Yan said to her husband Liu Zheng:

"I really didn't expect you to meet Brother A Qi just by fishing. Why are they so kind? This might change our lives!"

"When we get home, you should check—it must be that smoke is rising from your ancestral grave."

"Hehehe, exactly! If smoke wasn't rising from the ancestral grave, we wouldn't have met Brother A Qi."

Liu Zheng said with a smile.

After seeing off Liu Zheng and his wife, the three checked the time and drove toward the Maritime Safety Administration.

After making a phone call, they arrived at Zhang Long's office.

"Brother Long!", "Brother Long!"

"Yang Qi, Little Xue, you're here!"

Zhang Long stood up and poured the three of them a cup of tea. After exchanging pleasantries, he called in a staff member who brought out a series of documents for the three to fill out and sign.

"The items you salvaged this time are even more advanced than the last time, and our relevant departments are currently working on deciphering them."

"The corresponding bonus is also significantly higher—one hundred fifty thousand per person. You have already signed the non-disclosure agreements, so I don't need to elaborate on the precautions."

"I hope you continue your efforts and salvage more items like this to contribute further to the maritime defense of the motherland."

"Alright, that's all for now! I won't keep you for lunch. I have a meeting to attend shortly."

Zhang Long said concisely.

"Understood, we'll take our leave then. Brother Long, please get back to work."

"Goodbye, Brother Long!"

"Goodbye, Brother Long!"

The three bid farewell to Zhang Long and left the Maritime Safety Administration.

"Did we really each get a bonus of one hundred fifty thousand?"

Yao Shanshan asked excitedly.

"Yes, but we can't talk about this much, especially the specific details. We all signed non-disclosure agreements, or else we could be held accountable."

Yang Qi explained.

"Oh, oh, I understand."

Yao Shanshan nodded repeatedly.

That afternoon, just as Yang Qi was preparing to buy some seafood to mail to Liu Zheng, he received a call from his mother, Zheng Jin, saying that his father's ship, the harvest, would dock in half an hour.

Great, that saved the money he was going to spend on seafood!

When Yang Qi arrived at the dock with Bai Xue and Yao Shanshan, he found that his mother and several others were already there.

He even saw his eldest cousin, Zheng Maolin, next to his mother.

"Hi, Cousin."

"Yang Qi! Long time no see."

The two shared a tight hug. Zheng Maolin was three years older than Yang Qi, and they had played together often as children, maintaining a very good relationship.

"Yang Qi, sorry, my boss wouldn't let me take time off when you got engaged last time."

Zheng Maolin said, feeling a bit embarrassed.

"I understand, I understand! Don't worry about it. Come on, let me introduce you."

Yang Qi introduced him to Bai Xue and Yao Shanshan, then asked:

"When did you arrive? Why didn't you call me to pick you up?"

"I just arrived this afternoon; my aunt picked me up. I knew you were busy, so I planned to come find you tonight."

Just then, Chen Tianming arrived with his people and walked toward Yang Qi.

After introductions were made, the three were chatting and smoking when the silhouette of a fishing boat appeared on the distant sea.

"That must be the harvest."

Sure enough, as the fishing boat slowly docked, Yang Limin and Bai Dahai were the first to disembark.

"Dad,"

Yang Qi and the others went up to greet them, offering a cigarette to his father and his father-in-law.

"Uncle!"

"Ah! Maolin is here! This is your Uncle Bai."

Yang Limin introduced Zheng Maolin to Bai Dahai. The two had already discussed Zheng Maolin coming aboard to work.

Therefore, Bai Dahai wasn't surprised to see the tall, strong young man.

Zheng Maolin was sensible; after the introduction, he immediately went to find his uncle, Zheng Tie, to help unload the cargo and work.

Yang Qi selected a box of seafood, packed it with crushed ice, and prepared to mail it shortly.

Bai Xue and Yao Shanshan took two bags and started looking for the seafood they liked to eat.

Yang Qi arranged the dinner that evening at the best restaurant in town, inviting all the Ship workers and their families.

At the banquet, Yang Limin was filled with emotion, downing three cups in a row to thank everyone for their support and help over the past few months.

The atmosphere instantly livened up, and for a time, cups were exchanged, and everyone finally witnessed the drinking capacity of these northerners.

Including Yang Qi and Zheng Maolin, every one of them could handle at least three or four jin of alcohol. Zheng Maolin, who had just joined the team, toasted frequently, leaving the local people miserable.

"I'll finish mine, you all drink as you please!"

Seeing that the young man was still going after three rounds of toasts, Bai Dahai quickly stopped him.

"Alright, alright, just drink your own! We can't handle any more!"

"Hehehe, Maolin, listen to your Uncle Bai. He'll be your leader from now on."

Yang Limin waved his hand at his nephew.

"Brother Dahai, I won't be able to help out on the harvest anymore. It's all up to you now. Forgive me for being a deserter!"

Back home, Yang Limin sincerely said, holding Bai Dahai's hand.

"Brother Yang, don't say that! You're not like me; I started fishing at sea when I was a teenager, and these maritime matters are deeply ingrained in my mind. You can rest assured leaving the harvest to me!"

The two old men stood at the doorway, speaking heartfelt words for quite a while, and no one disturbed them.

Yang Qi, meanwhile, had already returned home with Bai Xue and Yao Shanshan.

Early the next morning, after the three finished breakfast, they drove to the dock. From afar, they saw colorful flags planted everywhere, and one area had a banner reading "XXX Oyster Raft Fishing Competition."

The three pulled their fishing boxes and walked over. Immediately, someone came up to greet them and asked if they were participating in the competition.

After receiving confirmation, the person led the three to register and gave them three badges.

As more contestants arrived, a boat quickly filled up, and a speedboat carried them rapidly toward the oyster raft.

From a distance, Yang Qi saw that many colorful flags were also planted on the oyster raft, and it looked like quite a few Anglers had already arrived.

The people on the speedboat successively boarded the oyster raft, where event staff registered them and handed each person a fishing rod.

"So this is the fishing rod provided by the event sponsor? The packaging looks decent! I wonder how the rod itself is?"

Bai Xue took the rod, examined it, and said to Yang Qi.

"Since they dare to provide it for the competitors, it should be acceptable, right?"

Yang Qi nodded and said.
