37: Prepare to change fishing spots

I have to say, the fish porridge this morning tasted absolutely wonderful.

The captain replied, "Fish schools don't stay in one place forever. The fishing conditions last night were already quite rare.

Our itinerary has already been arranged! It's a four-day, three-night trip, with the two daytime periods at the beginning and end used for travel.

The remaining two days and three nights are your actual fishing time. To ensure everyone has a good fishing experience, we will visit several fishing spots consecutively.

Of course, if most of you want to stay at this fishing spot, we will certainly respect your wishes."

Afterward, the captain and a few crewmen also began eating breakfast. It was clear that everyone was quite tired.

The captain finally told everyone that it would be best to give him a decision by lunchtime, otherwise, they might run out of time.

The anglers listened to the captain's words and began discussing while eating breakfast.

Some anglers thought that the sharks would surely leave, and by continuing to fish here, they might catch more Tuna, so they didn't want to change locations;

Others believed that the captain's itinerary likely had his reasons, and changing fishing spots might bring new catches.

Chang Jianqiang put down his bowl and chopsticks, clapped the table, and said,

"I think we should listen to the captain and stick to the itinerary. When you go fishing, it's about the novelty, and visiting more places might lead to encountering more types of fish."

At his words, many people nodded in agreement.

However, a few anglers still insisted on staying put.

"I don't care; I'll listen to you."

Zhang Jun nodded and said, "We also want to check out the next fishing spot."

Ultimately, the majority wanted to go to the next fishing spot. The captain smiled and said, "Alright, we'll go with the majority's decision. Everyone, rest well after breakfast. After lunch, we'll prepare to depart this afternoon."

After the itinerary was decided, the anglers finished breakfast and returned to their rooms to rest.

Looking at the seabed, the previously darting Tuna and shark schools were gone. Some smaller fish schools slowly appeared.

After a moment of thought, Yang Qi lowered the bait of one of his fishing rods to a depth of 10 meters from the bottom.

Not long after, the fishing rod with the bait 10 meters from the bottom suddenly twitched. The rod tip dipped, and the fish at the other end of the line struggled fiercely.

Since the electric reel was locked, the force of the fish pulling the line caused the automatic retrieve switch of the electric reel to pop open, and it began to retrieve automatically.

The high-powered electric reel started winding the fishing line without slowing down, pulling the fish from below.

After a struggle, what emerged from the water was a red snapper weighing a full ten catties.

Yang Qi unhooked the fish, put it into the fish box, re-baited his line, and cast it back into the sea.

Then, the other fishing rod also showed activity. This time, he reeled in a grouper.

Wang Jinxi saw Yang Qi catching fish, put down his rod, and ran over to help with the fish.

Wang Jinxi looked at the live fish tank behind Yang Qi and said,

By this time, lunchtime was approaching, and everyone was looking forward to what they would catch at the new fishing spot in the afternoon.
