100: So this is what it feels like to swear!

This night was a bit too long.

It was only eight o'clock when they went to bed.

It was already the early hours of the morning when it ended.

She didn't know why Yu Heng was even more excited than last time; thinking about it, it might have been because at the very beginning, she told him she had taken Yasmin.

"I shouldn't have said I took the pill!" Qin Lu said weakly, "It's just never-ending."

"You're wronging me," Yu Heng said cheerfully, "In the latter half, you were the one being proactive."

"I wasn't..." Qin Lu turned her face away, "I had just been lying down for too long and wanted to sit up for a bit."

"Alright, want to go wash up?" Yu Heng said with a smile, "Then we'll sleep. We're going to watch the match tomorrow."

"I'm not washing. I'm too lazy to move. Let's just leave it like this and talk when we wake up."

"Then I'm turning off the light."

"Mhm... behave yourself..."

——

Two people waking up in the same bed is a wonderful thing.

Yu Heng was forced to open his eyes because his arm was very numb.

Qin Lu was sleeping in his arms, in a state different from before.

At this moment, she was completely unguarded, and her brow had smoothed out a lot.

Yu Heng just watched her like that, and after a while, Qin Lu opened her eyes too.

From this angle, she could see the new stubble on Yu Heng's chin, a very faint shade of blue-black.

"Awake?" Yu Heng's hand reached the top of her head and rubbed it messily a couple of times.

Like rubbing a dog.

Qin Lu didn't dodge; she just looked up at him: "Is your arm numb?"

"Yeah, it's numb." When his arm was pulled out from under her neck, Qin Lu felt an inexplicable emptiness in her heart.

"Get up and eat something?" Yu Heng lifted the quilt and got out of bed, moving his arm until his joints popped twice.

He was shirtless, with several scratch marks on his back, some deep and some shallow.

Qin Lu saw them, looked away, and her ears felt a bit hot.

"I did that?" She looked up at him.

"Who else?" Yu Heng raised an eyebrow.

"Does it hurt?" she asked.

"It did at the time." Yu Heng smiled, "I don't feel much now."

"I'm sorry," she said.

Yu Heng was stunned for a moment, then laughed out loud: "What is there to apologize for?"

"I'll be more careful next time." Qin Lu said as she also got out of bed.

She followed Yu Heng into the bathroom, tore open a pack of disposable combs, and began to comb her hair.

Yu Heng stood next to her and pulled at the elastic waistband of his pajama pants.

He just started using the toilet as if no one else were there.

Qin Lu subconsciously glanced over and pursed her lips; they seemed a bit too intimate now.

Even with Lin Liyan, it had never been like this; they had been married for over ten years, and she had never even farted in front of him.

But now, there didn't seem to be any uncomfortable feeling.

After finishing her morning routine, Qin Lu left the bathroom and sat back on the edge of the bed. After a while, Yu Heng also came to the bedside and sat down next to her: "The delivery will be here in twenty minutes."

"Are we going back after watching the match this afternoon?" she asked.

"What else?" Yu Heng turned his head to look at her, "Do you want to stay another night?"

"Who wants to stay?" Qin Lu turned her face away, "Qin Ya is still at your house."

"Bai Xinran is watching her, she won't get lost." Yu Heng reached out and put his arm around her waist, pulling her a bit closer to him, "If you really want to stay, it's not impossible."

"Let go." she said.

"I won't." Yu Heng's other hand also came around, encircling her completely.

"How are we going to see the match this afternoon if you're like this!"

"Just one more time!"

————

At 3:30 PM, the football match started on time.

Home Team's home ground was a sea of green; they had bought seats in the away section, and Yu Heng sat side by side with Qin Lu, holding her hand.

This match actually didn't have much to look forward to. Away Team's strength couldn't compare to Home Team's; they hadn't won many times. Today was Home Team's home game, so a 1:1 draw would be good enough.

Surprisingly, however, Away Team actually scored 40 minutes into the first half. With a precise cross from the wing, a Home Team defender let the opposing forward slip past by two body lengths, resulting in an open goal.

"Good goal!" Yu Heng shouted. "This Home Team defender should go to the lower leagues; he has no awareness at all."

During stoppage time in the first half, the Away Team forward charged into the penalty area with the ball—a rare opportunity.

At this moment, the Home Team defender provided timely cover and kicked the ball away, but the Away Team forward immediately fell to the ground.

Everyone looked at the linesman, but the linesman didn't raise his flag, and the referee signaled for the game to continue.

As a result, the anger of the Away Team fans was instantly ignited, and overwhelming curses rang out.

"Referee! Idiot!"

"Referee! Idiot!"

"Away Team! Penalty!"

"Away Team! Penalty!"

"Come on, you can vent a little!" Yu Heng looked at Qin Lu beside him.

"How do I vent?"

"Shout with me: Referee! Idiot!"

Qin Lu's face looked a bit awkward, probably because her upbringing meant she rarely heard profanity, let alone said it herself.

Seeing her like this, Yu Heng figured she really couldn't bring herself to curse.

"Everyone's attention is on the field; no one will notice you," Yu Heng leaned in to persuade her. "It's fine, shout it out loud!"

Qin Lu's brows furrowed slightly.

"Quick, quick, quick, believe in yourself!" Yu Heng urged.

Qin Lu's mouth opened slightly, somewhat hesitant.

She looked at the people around her shouting loudly, their voices as synchronized as if they had rehearsed countless times.

Everyone was venting their dissatisfaction, as if they wanted to skin the people on the field alive.

Perhaps feeling a bit infected by the atmosphere, Yu Heng watched as she raised her hand to grip the railing in front of her and shouted loudly, "Idiot!"

Sure enough, profanity is an indispensable and important part of cultures all over the world.

After Qin Lu finished cursing, her mood really did feel much more relaxed.

A smile couldn't help but appear at the corner of her mouth; so cursing was such a refreshing thing.

The whistle for the end of the match blew.

The score was fixed at 1:1. Away Team fans left the stadium grumbling, while Home Team fans were relieved they hadn't lost at home.

Yu Heng pulled Qin Lu's hand, moving out with the flow of the crowd.

Her palm was a bit damp; it was unclear if it was sweat from nervousness or from shouting too hard just now.

"How was it?" Yu Heng turned his head to look at her. "Was it refreshing?"

Qin Lu pursed her lips and didn't speak, but the smile in the corners of her eyes couldn't be hidden.

Especially when tens of thousands of people cursed together, that sense of venting while being part of a collective felt like shouting out something that had been bottled up inside for a long time.

She had even taken the initiative to follow along and curse several times in the second half. It was just that she didn't even know the referee being cursed, so she felt a little bit sorry.

She used to think that speaking loudly in public was unrefined, let alone using profanity.

But now... Qin Lu looked down at her hand being held by Yu Heng.

It seemed that since she met him, she had started to become less "refined."

——

By the time the car drove back to the University Town, the streetlights were already lit.

Yu Heng held the steering wheel with one hand, while his other hand was held by Qin Lu.

Her palm was very soft, and her fingertips were a bit cool.

When they came, he had taken the initiative to hold her hand; on the way back, she was the one who reached out first.

While waiting for a red light, Yu Heng turned his head to glance at her; Qin Lu was looking out the window.

"Tired?" Yu Heng asked.

"A little." Qin Lu turned her head, her finger lightly stroking the back of his hand, "My waist is sore."

"My fault." Yu Heng smiled. "I'll be careful next time."

"You said that last time too." Qin Lu gave him a sidelong glance.

Yu Heng grinned and didn't respond.

Indeed, last night was a bit much.

Mainly, hearing that she had actually made preparations herself—who could hold back then?

Before, there were some concerns, but didn't her words just tell him he could go all out without worry?
