142: Chapter 142 Above the Moon, a Mysterious Place

Sure enough, the sunlight still shone eternally upon the other side of Yaoling Planet; no matter what happened on the ground, it could not affect the distant sun.

This sun was a relatively old star, its light already tinged with red, but despite this, it still provided infinite light and heat.

Zhao Feng's Bronze Body seemed to emit a sound of cheering; it greedily absorbed the solar radiation, filling every mitochondrion to the brim, ensuring the vitality of his body.

The charging lasted for about half an hour, and Zhao Feng had just been floating there in the Void Realm, seemingly asleep. Only at this moment did he wake up. Now, it was time to go to the moon to take a look, and while he was at it, practice some Spells.

The last battle showed that his Spells were not enough; he lacked powerful Spells to deal with enemies, so delving into Spells for a few more days was very necessary.

After flying for about three minutes, Zhao Feng approached the moon.

Yaoling Planet's moon was very similar to Earth's moon; it was also a desolate satellite. Its volume was not very large, and its surface was full of pitted craters. The moon was covered in yellow sand. Zhao Feng landed gently on the planet's surface. From the sensation in his body, he could feel that the planet's gravity was not great; even a Mortal could jump dozens of meters high on it.

There was no Spiritual Qi on the moon's surface, so the power of Spells here was not great, but during use, it was easier to grasp the essence of the Spells. If the Spell effect was too good, it would conversely be difficult to find flaws.

Through practicing ice-type Spells, Zhao Feng summarized a phenomenon: it was estimated that the Spells of each element were all developed from a basic symbol.

He used his ability to modify the terrain to draw the central symbol of Cryomancy with crystal stones, followed by Ice Arrow and Ice Rain.

The symbols made of crystal stones were crystal clear and looked exceptionally beautiful. The symbol for Cryomancy was shaped like flowing water, but compared to flowing water, it had two triangular branches on the side, looking quite peculiar; however, it was a flat symbol. Zhao Feng seemed to have seen such a symbol somewhere before, but he couldn't recall it for a moment.

The symbol for Ice Arrow, however, was three-dimensional; based on the previous Cryomancy symbol, a sharp arrowhead shape extended from one end.

The symbol for Ice Rain was a bit like a parallel version of the Ice Arrow symbol, but there were some arc-shaped swirls at one end of the symbol; Zhao Feng guessed that it was a symbol for circulation.

Although the three symbols seemed to prove Zhao Feng's theory, Zhao Feng hoped to learn Frozen Hell and then take a look. If even Frozen Hell was an extension of a unified symbol, then Zhao Feng could naturally develop Spells suitable for himself to a certain extent; Spells would no longer hold any secrets for him.

One had to know that Spells of many attributes were actually very rare. For elements like lightning, light, and darkness, there were very few practitioners, and the Spells passed down were even fewer; some Spells had even directly lost their Legacy.

To practice Frozen Hell, there was a prerequisite: Ice Rain needed to reach the level of 'first glimpse of the path.' This was the Restriction left by Luo Ying back then, to prevent him from being greedy and failing to learn well.

After Zhao Feng caught a glimpse of the secret of the symbols, the proficiency of all Spells became easy to grind.

"Ice Rain!" A gorgeous ice-type silver disk appeared. Zhao Feng did not fire the Ice Arrows, dispersed the Spell, and then started over again.

"Ice Rain!"

"Ice Rain!"

"Ice Arrow!"

"Ice Arrow!"

...

He repeated the ice-type Spell practice for who knew how long. Fortunately, with the replenishment of solar energy, he did not suffer the calamity of Spiritual Qi dissipation.

Finally, Zhao Feng was able to practice Frozen Hell.

The knowledge of Frozen Hell entered Zhao Feng's consciousness. Observing its symbol, it was even more complex. For a moment, he actually found it difficult to find a way to draw it; every time he drew halfway, it would collapse with a bang. This was because his proficiency was not enough.

Drawing and collapsing were repeated, over and over again, for a very long time.

"Frozen Hell!" Finally, at a certain moment, Zhao Feng finished drawing with his Spiritual power, gave a light shout, and surged his Spiritual power into it. If this were on Yaoling Planet, which had Spiritual Qi, such a complex Spell would inevitably attract Spiritual Qi from dozens of miles around, with great momentum and infinite power.

But now, relying solely on his own Spiritual power, it was naturally incomparable to borrowing external power. Even so, that Frozen Hell still enveloped a space of hundreds of meters in radius.

The yellow sand instantly turned blue-white, the bone-chilling cold sealed the space, and the yellow sand instantly exploded into powder.

Jagged ice teeth surrounded the effective range of Frozen Hell from all directions. One would imagine that if anyone were within this range, they would certainly turn into an ice sculpture under this ultra-low temperature and die a violent death.

Truly a good Spell!

Zhao Feng's Spiritual power dropped by one-tenth in an instant, then was replenished by solar energy. The entire casting process lasted for more than a second; the speed was still too slow. He imagined that after becoming familiar with it, he could certainly increase the speed to a certain extent.

He did not dwell on the speed and quickly simulated the symbol for Frozen Hell. Sure enough, it was of the same lineage as Ice Rain and the others. With a comparison, he naturally found the logical connection within them; Zhao Feng was confident that he could compress the casting time by another half.

Next was the time for creating his own Spells. This was like knowing addition and then being asked to come up with a few addition problems. Although it was more complex than this example, as long as he tried a few more times, it would be no problem at all.

After staying on the moon for another day, Zhao Feng took off and flew toward Yaoling Planet. For some reason, the arrival of the Six-Nine Heavenly Tribulation could not be triggered on the moon.

The distance between the moon and Yaoling Planet was only a three-minute journey. In the blink of an eye, Zhao Feng approached Yaoling Planet, this planet where green occupied the vast majority, as charming as Earth.

Just as he was about to break into the atmosphere, his mind flickered, and he suddenly arrived in an inexplicable space.

This space presented a strange aura of decadence, with broken walls and ruins everywhere. The entire space seemed to be endless in scope, but the peculiar large gate in the center was the most real; the rest of the things always felt somewhat fake.

And these broken buildings were all floating in the air, with clouds and mist surrounding the corners, looking like they had an inexplicable immortal aura.

Zhao Feng's body suddenly felt a pulling force, and then he appeared abruptly in front of that broken large gate.

"Who is it?" Zhao Feng scanned his surroundings vigilantly. Who on earth had pulled him into this mysterious location?

His gaze swept across the gate. On the plaque that was half broken, two characters could still be vaguely sensed: "Nantian!" Zhao Feng read them out slowly.

"Nantian Gate!" Zhao Feng exclaimed suddenly.

Could this be the Nantian Gate? The magnificent pillars carved with white jade coiling Dragons were broken into two sections, and the plaza in front of the gate was pitted, covered everywhere with traces of impacts and Spell explosions.

There were black and golden stains on the ground, and he did not know what kind of traces they were.

One door had a huge crack shattered into it, but it was not completely broken; it looked like it was caused by the attack of some hammer-shaped weapon. On the other door, there was a long saber mark, and the sharp aura remaining within it made Zhao Feng feel shocked to the core!

"Yes, it is the Nantian Gate!"
