41: Chapter 41 Zhao Feng's Combat Power

"Heaven and Earth Infinite! Xun Wind Spell, Command!"

The ten blue-robed mages did not rest; seeing the fierce fire, they instead summoned a gale and blew it toward the flames.

As the saying goes, the wind borrows the fire's momentum, and the fire aids the wind's power. Aided by the wind, the already raging fire ignited half the sky.

The entire valley was ravaged by the fire; viewed from above, it looked like a baring-fanged and brandishing-claws Dragon of fire, imposing and fierce.

In the dark mountains, some bird-like creatures that were easily startled watched the distant fire with complex eyes. In such a world, besides The Ten Great Tribes, there were actually intelligent beings capable of confronting a Corpse Beast tide head-on!

"Leader, let's go help them. We don't have any food anyway. Since we are going to die regardless, we might as well give it a try. If they win, we can at least ask for some food."

"Good! If they are defeated, we can take some food." A gleam flashed in the leader's eyes.

Such conversations occurred at least several times, and an unexpected group of reinforcements was heading toward the Qin Tribe.

"Giddyap! Giddyap!" Zhao Feng urged the Hammerhead Rhino beneath him, galloping rapidly.

In his hand, he gripped a shimmering silver spear. Yes! This was a metal weapon.

This metal spear was not smelted; it was forged directly from a single piece of meteoric iron.

Although its hardness could not compare to cast weapons, compared to the stone and wooden spears of this era, its power was vastly superior.

The spear was not smooth; its entire body was covered in marks from stone hammer strikes. Zhao Feng tightly wrapped the spear shaft with linen to avoid injuring his hands.

For some reason, his Steel Body had stopped growing due to the lack of sunlight, but Zhao Feng's strength continued to increase.

This spear weighed over 100 kilograms, but in his hands, it felt like straw. Combined with the Centipede-Piercing Spear Technique, its power was infinite.

The ten-minute journey felt so distant. Seeing the red light filling the sky and hearing the sounds of slaughter in the distance, Zhao Feng was burning with anxiety.

"Vajra Subduing Demons!"

A faint golden light emanated from Old Monk Wugou's sturdy muscles. He let out a loud shout and punched, exploding a Corpse Beast. The flaming Corpse Beast collapsed onto the ground.

He turned and quickly strode toward the rapidly lunging Corpse Beasts, saving a warrior.

The warriors of the Second Platoon formed a circular formation, fighting desperately against the Corpse Beasts.

The monk in the center of the circular formation sat cross-legged on the ground, chanting an unintelligible incantation.

Rings of pale golden light radiated outward. The wounds of the injured warriors healed rapidly, and their spirits were greatly boosted.

As for the Corpse Beasts touched by the halo, they emitted bursts of black Qi and suddenly became listless.

"Kill!" A warrior swung his stone axe down with all his might.

"Bang!" The stone axe shattered, and the Corpse Beast collapsed to the ground.

Another leopard-shaped Corpse Beast lunged from the ground. The warrior grabbed the leopard-shaped Corpse Beast's front paws with both hands and kicked its stomach fiercely with his right leg.

The leopard-shaped Corpse Beast was kicked aside with a bang, knocking away several Corpse Beasts that were rushing over.

The warrior didn't care about the flames on his body; he rolled on the ground, dodged a few lunging Corpse Wolves, and retreated back into his comrades' defensive circle.

"Boom boom... boom boom!" Amidst the earth-shaking sounds, a towering figure smashed through the rubble and charged out of the canyon—it was a mammoth!

The mammoth's dried fat was burning with raging flames, and in many places, scorched, blackened bones could already be seen.

As its footsteps shook the ground, several pieces of burning flesh fell off, landing on the ground to form piles of bonfires, only to be quickly trampled out by the small Corpse Beasts swarming beneath it.

The mammoth's nearly six-meter-tall body was visually overwhelming; charging from afar, it was like a mountain moved by a mountain god, blotting out the sky and covering the earth.

Fortunately, the Huben Battalion warriors were all elites of the System and showed no fear.

Several javelin throwers hurled their stone spears with all their might. Although they successfully hit the mammoth's head, the spears just stuck into the flesh, wobbling like toothpicks, having no effect on the mammoth whatsoever.

Old Monk Wugou waved his hand to stop several warriors who wanted to step forward. He transformed into a golden light, rushing through the Corpse Beasts blocking him and the mammoth like a golden truck.

A palm strike of peerless power slammed into the mammoth's leg, emitting a "boom" sound.

The mammoth's towering body swayed, its right front leg exploded with a bang, and its center of gravity became unstable as it rushed forward, causing it to crash to the ground with a boom.

The old monk felt a surge of joy, adjusted his churning Qi and blood, gathered Buddha Power in his palm, and struck toward the mammoth's head.

"Careful!" A silver light, as brilliant as the stars, arrived with the voice, nailing a behemoth to the ground with a 'swish', giving the old monk a start.

A figure arrived before him in a flash; it was the leader, Zhao Feng.

Zhao Feng thought to himself that it was close; if he had arrived a moment later, the old monk would likely have been successfully ambushed by this Epic-grade Corpse Beast, and his life would have been in danger.

"Roar!" This massive baboon-like Corpse Beast didn't seem to have been infected for long; its vocal cords hadn't rotted yet, and it even carried a hint of anger.

It grabbed the silver spear pinning it down, threw it aside, beat its chest with both claws, and then charged up.

Zhao Feng had been gathering momentum for a long time. He viciously unleashed his Great Dragon Fist, which he had been cultivating for the longest time, striking first despite reacting later, hitting the baboon in the chest.

Then, without waiting for the baboon to react, he kicked off the baboon's leg with his right foot, performed a backflip, jumped to the spear, and pulled it out.

On the other side, a group of oddly dressed, strange-looking humanoid creatures were rushing over, brandishing weird stone tools.

There were about a hundred of them, some tall, some short, some big, some small, but all had ferocious expressions, as if their enemies were right before them.

"Ben! This isn't even your tribe, why try so hard?"

A rabbit-headed creature waved its furry claws and said to a thin, horned, sheep-like creature running beside it. It seemed to still have energy to spare, looking calm and composed without panting.

The sheep-like creature tilted its head to look at him and said in a muffled voice, "Do you think their chances of winning are high?"

"It's a bit difficult! There are too many of these monsters. Over these years, I've seen countless tribes wiped out."

The rabbit-headed creature said somewhat dejectedly.

"Exactly! There isn't a single large tribe in our Southern Mountains, so in the war against the monsters, we are always chased and scattered, like stray dogs. Don't you think they have the potential to become a large tribe?" the sheep-headed creature sighed with emotion.

"So you want to join them and take a gamble?"

"We all gathered together while fleeing for our lives, and our tribes have been destroyed. If we don't find a reliance, we won't even have a home after we die!"

The conversation didn't affect their speed at all. Watching the two sides fighting not far away, the sheep-headed creature shouted, "For a new life, for our families, charge!"

Zhao Feng could feel the circulation speed of the Spiritual Qi within his body suddenly accelerate. His footsteps were becoming lighter, his body seemed to be getting stronger, and his mind was becoming increasingly clear.

He flicked his spear, parrying the baboon's massive hand as it swiped at him. Turning his body, he used the clever force of Tree Flight, dodging the baboon's gaping maw as he maneuvered, and stabbed his spear like lightning, piercing its heart.

But this baboon was not an ordinary life form; its heart was no longer a vital point.

It charged forward recklessly, intending to break his technique with brute force. No matter what was in front of it, it would tear it apart with one claw; if that didn't work, it would use another!

On the other side, Old Monk Wugou transformed into a ball of golden light; the mammoth had long since suffered under his ruthless hand!

He was currently rampaging through the Corpse Beast horde, countless Corpse Beasts turning into fragments under his palms, flesh and blood flying everywhere. He was truly a violent monk!

Daoist Master Xuan Kong, however, was like a gentle breeze, not a single leaf touching his body.

He pointed his bamboo staff in one direction, and a vine sprouted out. He pointed in another direction, and a fire snake spewed out. He truly wielded the Five Elements spells with great skill.

This baboon was agile and possessed immense strength; it was a troublesome opponent!

Zhao Feng's spear had strong attack power, but he couldn't penetrate the baboon's defenses to hit its head, so they were locked in a stalemate for a while.

Zhao Feng had no choice but to switch to blade aura.

"Storm and Rain!"

A Spiritual Artifact is a Spiritual Artifact. Even though the baboon tried its best to defend, it still turned into fragments under the indestructible blade aura.

"As expected, once the blade aura is out, there's no desire to fight. But that's fine, I can save a few more warriors."

A thunderous sound came from the distance, as if more Epic-grade Corpse Beasts were approaching. He subconsciously looked at the map, and indeed, several large red dots were charging over. Strangely, a large cluster of white dots was also charging from the side. What were those?
