27: Chapter 27 The Formation of the Small Heavenly Circuit, The First Battle

The morning on the Planet of the Dead remained dim and gloomy, feeling incredibly oppressive.

Because there was no sunlight, the Steel Body basically stopped growing.

Zhao Feng's routine did not rely on daylight. Throughout his long career in Qigong, he had grown accustomed to waking up around six o'clock, followed by an hour of Qigong cultivation.

The Leopard Dogs did not come to disturb Zhao Feng. They nestled quietly in the trees, absorbing every bit of nutrition, wanting to grow up quickly.

Zhao Feng, sitting cross-legged in front of the Bodhi Spirit Tree, had a mind free of distracting thoughts.

After he quietly visualized his Dantian for over a hundred breaths, the heat within his Dantian suddenly swelled as if out of thin air.

These heat currents were like water falling onto sodium metal, beginning to jump violently.

Clusters of Qi within the Dantian were rapidly leaping and expanding, intending to find a weak point to break through.

Zhao Feng was secretly delighted; he had anticipated this process.

He focused his intent on the perineum while simultaneously contracting his anus.

The heat, like a flood having found a breach, began to surge down incessantly, rushing past the coccyx and arriving at the Jiaji.

The Jiaji was like a mighty fortress, intending to block the heat that was like a torrential flood.

But those heat currents came wave after wave, each stronger than the last.

With the help of Zhao Feng's intent, it quickly formed a monstrous momentum, violently crashing against the Jiaji.

The greatest barrier of the Microcosmic Orbit, the Jiaji Pass, could no longer block the heat flow from the Ren Meridian. Amidst three deafening roars, it burst open.

After passing through the Jiaji, the surging heat continued upward along the Du Meridian, all the way to the Yuzhen.

When an ordinary person's Microcosmic Orbit reaches the Yuzhen, the heat's energy is already exhausted, and it requires three to five days of recuperation before they can continue the assault.

But Zhao Feng was not an ordinary person. Under the influence of the Evolutionary Spirit, these heat currents were no longer mere human essence; their combat power naturally could not be mentioned in the same breath.

The heat summoned its remaining courage and charged through the Yuzhen Pass in two strikes.

Once past the Yuzhen, it was smooth sailing. The lower body was burning hot, but under the influence of the Nine Palaces Visualization Method in his mind, the upper body felt cool and clear.

The heat from the Dantian poured into the Purple Mansion. In his consciousness, Zhao Feng seemed to hear lingering celestial music, while cranes, auspicious clouds, and palaces flickered in and out of his awareness—this was the first demon of the Microcosmic Orbit.

If one could not maintain a clear mind and fell into the illusions, once the heat dissipated, it would result in death from the exhaustion of essence.

Zhao Feng refrained from looking at those illusions and pressed his tongue against his upper palate; at this moment, the Ren and Du meridians were both connected.

Those heat currents flowed downward, were chilled by the cool air in the Niwan, and then transformed into clear streams, flowing from the tip of his tongue down the Ren Meridian and returning to the Dantian.

After those heat currents turned into clear streams and merged into the Dantian, they occupied only one percent of the Dantian's space.

Zhao Feng urged these clear streams to circulate for another nine cycles to consolidate them before opening his eyes.

Compared to his previous Qigong progress, this was a step forward: internal Qi had liquefied. Sure enough, the System prompted him again.

"Host's strength has changed, entering an unnamed Realm. Please name it in a timely manner."

Opening the attribute page, Zhao Feng saw his current situation.

At this point, the Realm Zhao Feng had entered was already quite different from what the Qigong books described.

Original Qigong True Qi could not liquefy, and after the Microcosmic Orbit came the Macrocosmic Orbit, with no liquefaction involved.

But all in all, once the Microcosmic Orbit is opened, physical fitness will definitely undergo positive changes and improve continuously. Therefore, it can be named the Foundation Establishment Stage, which also aligns with the concept of "building the foundation in a hundred days."

Zhao Feng was intently operating the System when he suddenly felt something licking his palm. Fortunately, he had already finished his cultivation, so there was no danger of Qi Deviation.

Opening his eyes to look, it was a Leopard Dog.

The four Leopard Dog Ancient Trees had produced a total of 18 Leopard Dogs. These Leopard Dogs had absorbed nutrition all night, and their bodies had rapidly grown to the size of an average puppy; they already possessed a certain amount of combat power.

The Leopard Dogs were also Zhao Feng's creations, so in their hearts, they were very attached to Zhao Feng. They huddled around Zhao Feng in a small group; some were chasing each other's tails, some were rolling on the ground, and some were fighting each other with their paws...

The Leopard Dogs added a bit of liveliness to the forest.

Zhao Feng took a few sweet potatoes, gnawing on one for breakfast, intending to toss the others to the Leopard Dogs.

The Leopard Dogs had no interest in the sweet potatoes; they just sniffed them with their noses and then walked away, bored.

At this moment, they were just like ordinary small animals, liking to explore the world, but once they had played enough, they would still return to their mothers.

Having played cute enough around Zhao Feng, they returned to the ancient trees to continue dazing off and frolicking.

Zhao Feng smiled and shook his head, continuing to gnaw on his sweet potato.

Only about two minutes later, the Leopard Dogs on the ancient tree to Zhao Feng's left suddenly started barking wildly. Their voices were very immature but full of threat; it seemed something was up.

Zhao Feng jumped up quickly, brushed off the dust, activated Tree Flight, and ran over swiftly.

It was her! It was that little girl who had stolen things. She looked very anxious and exhausted.

Seeing Zhao Feng appear, the little girl ignored the Leopard Dogs in the trees entirely, ran over quickly, flopped onto the ground in front of Zhao Feng, and kissed Zhao Feng's feet with her mouth.

"Hey! Hey! What are you doing?" Zhao Feng retreated in a flustered manner. Was this person crazy?

Before the little girl could say anything, he heard a shout of surprise and laughter.

"@#¥#@&..."

Five people, about 1.5 meters tall, walked out one after another from behind a dead tree. They were wearing tattered, filthy black animal skins and holding stone sticks about the length of a forearm.

These people looked like they hadn't bathed in years; their hair and beards were matted together, covered in chunks of hardened grime.

From far away, Zhao Feng smelled the stench and couldn't help but pinch his nose and step back a few paces.

Those five people had originally been somewhat wary of the tall Zhao Feng, but seeing Zhao Feng retreat, they thought he was afraid of them.

The group exchanged glances and made a decision in an instant. Greed flared in their eyes, seemingly emitting a green light.

The five dirty people howled and charged up, wanting to take down Zhao Feng.

As for the Leopard Dogs, they ignored them completely. They had seen plenty of these animals ten years ago; the adults were indeed terrifying, but these young ones were just a few pieces of meat.

The first dirty person charged fast, holding the stone stick high, mouth wide open, looking ferocious.

Unexpectedly, the little girl was startled and darted away, just happening to block his path and trip him to the ground.

His wide-open mouth hit the ground, kicking up a cloud of dust; vaguely, one could see something white fly out.

He let out a cry of pain, and the stone stick clattered away and fell to the ground.

Zhao Feng was about to punch him, but looking at his own clean fist and then at the other person's filthy body, he couldn't bring himself to throw that punch no matter what.

And if he used the blade aura, it would result in death or mutilation, and more importantly, it would leave the place covered in filthy blood.

He happened to see the stone stick that had flown over; this thing was polished reasonably well, didn't cut his hands, and wasn't too dirty.

Fine, he would choose that.

He picked up the stone stick and casually executed the Centipede-Piercing Spear Technique.

Taking advantage of the second dirty person still being three or four steps away, he stepped forward quickly, stomping on the first dirty person while thrusting the stone stick out.

The two were not far apart. With this move, Zhao Feng arrived instantly in front of the second dirty person. Before the man's raised stone stick could come down, he was jabbed in the chest, which instantly broke his slender ribs.

His body fell backward uncontrollably, knocking into a dirty person behind him.

Two dirty people leaped out, attacking from both left and right, their stone sticks swinging down rapidly.

Zhao Feng dodged to the side, evading the stone sticks.

Taking advantage of the dirty person's exhausted force, his left hand grabbed the right-side dirty person's arm, pulled hard, and his right knee slammed into him.

What was originally going to be a kick to the chest turned into a strike to the head; the dirty person screamed and fell to the ground, twitching incessantly.

Taking advantage of the left-side dirty person being stunned, Zhao Feng slammed his back into him.

That dirty person was knocked flying like a ball, slamming hard into a dead tree. The dead tree could not withstand the heavy blow and collapsed with a crash.

In the blink of an eye, four of the five dirty people had fallen. The remaining one looked at the tall Zhao Feng, his body trembling uncontrollably.

He quickly threw away his stone stick, lay on the ground, and raised his hands.

Zhao Feng's movements had been lightning-fast, like a rabbit jumping and a falcon striking, and the few dirty people had been defeated very cleanly.

In fact, it was not unjust; Zhao Feng had not only practiced comprehensive martial arts but his physical fitness was far superior to these people's. It would be unreasonable if he didn't win.

"@#¥#@&..." The little girl looked very surprised and couldn't help but say something loudly.

Zhao Feng still could not understand what she was saying. He was not a bloodthirsty person either, so he stopped paying attention to those dirty people and began his great task of tree-harvesting.
