148: Chapter 148 Superpower [Telekinesis]

Without power, the half-section of the train Lin Yuanzhou was on slowly decelerated, its wheels screeching harshly against the rails as sparks flew everywhere.

Finally, it came to a halt.

Iron Demon lowered his hands and looked at Lin Yuanzhou. "Now, no one is coming to save you."

"Hand over the item, and I'll let them go. If you don't, I'll kill them one by one."

Lin Yuanzhou looked into Iron Demon's greedy eyes. He knew that even if he handed the item over, Iron Demon would not spare these people.

The Red Snake Gang never left any survivors; witnesses were simply the next ones to die.

Everyone on the entire train was a witness.

They would not let a single person leave alive.

Lin Yuanzhou gripped the safe tighter and shouted, "You want it? Then come and take it yourself."

Before he even finished speaking, his body flashed toward the window, pushed it open, and he leaped out.

Seeing Lin Yuanzhou jump out of the train, Green Python was the first to give chase.

His body was like a bolt of green lightning; he flipped out of the window in an instant and flicked his fingers sharply in the air.

Green vines emerged from the gaps in the gravel, spreading rapidly along the ground and chasing in the direction Lin Yuanzhou was fleeing.

Those few trusted henchmen also followed, jumping out of the window one after another.

Iron Demon stood in the middle of the carriage, raised his hands, and a dark red light burst from his palms.

The entire train began to tremble, and all the metal resonated.

"Everyone, sit tight!" Iron Demon shouted.

As soon as he finished speaking, the entire train lunged forward, leaving the tracks.

The carriage shook violently, throwing the passengers on their seats into disarray.

Some fell from their seats, some clung desperately to the luggage racks, and some screamed as they lay on the floor.

Iron Demon controlled the entire train and chased after him.

Without the support of the tracks, the Speed was significantly slower, but it was still much faster than Lin Yuanzhou.

The carriage dragged a long shadow, the metal screeching harshly against the ground, sparks flying everywhere, and the air was filled with the smell of burning.

Iron Demon stood at the very front of the carriage, his iron hooks slashing through the air as if conducting a piece of crazy music.

Green Python flanked from the other side, green vines emerging from the gaps in the gravel and spreading silently along the ground like glowing snakes.

They were on the left and right, front and back; Iron Demon controlled the field, and Green Python intercepted.

Lin Yuanzhou couldn't escape.

Before long, the train caught up to Lin Yuanzhou.

The carriage whistled past him, then whipped its tail in front of him and came to a halt.

The carriages formed a circle, trapping Lin Yuanzhou in the middle.

It was like a moving steel fortress, and also like an open-top arena.

The dim yellow light from the emergency lights on the carriages shone from all directions onto Lin Yuanzhou, casting long and chaotic shadows.

He stood in the very center of the circle, his dark gray trench coat flapping in the wind, with bloodstains on his face from gravel scratches.

Iron Demon walked out of the carriage, and Green Python walked out from the other side.

The two stood in front and behind, sandwiching Lin Yuanzhou in the middle.

"You can't escape," Iron Demon's voice came.

Iron Demon slashed his iron hook forward, and several henchmen immediately pounced on Lin Yuanzhou.

Each held a knife; they were fast and coordinated, clearly not their first time doing such a thing.

One charged from the front, one flanked from the left, and another circled behind from the right, sealing off all of Lin Yuanzhou's escape routes.

Lin Yuanzhou spread his five fingers, palms facing forward.

An invisible force surged from his body, unseen and untouchable, like an invisible hand.

His Superpower [Telekinesis].

Just as the first henchman's knife was about to strike Lin Yuanzhou, the knife suddenly stopped, hovering in mid-air and trembling slightly.

The next second, the knife flew out, returned in the direction it had come from, and the hilt slammed into the man's chest.

Bones shattered, and he flew backward, hitting the carriage wall and stopping still.

The second henchman rushed over from the left; before he could even raise his fist, his body flew out.

It was as if an invisible hand pushed against his chest; he hit the carriage wall, slid down, and stopped moving too.

The third one circled from the right; just as he raised his knife, his wrist was grabbed by an invisible hand.

His wrist was twisted sharply, the sound of breaking bones rang out again, and the knife slipped from his hand.

He was thrown out, fell to the ground, twitched a few times, and stopped moving.

In less than ten seconds.

Three LV4 trusted henchmen were all lying on the ground.

Lin Yuanzhou stood in place, not having moved a single step.

Iron Demon looked at Lin Yuanzhou and smiled, his smile very cold. "Telekinesis? Good stuff."

"Too bad, because this thing has no physical entity to control, or rather, it can control any physical entity,"

"The Mental Energy it consumes is greater than ordinary Superpowers."

"How much longer can you hold out?"

Iron Demon raised his hands, and his Superpower [Metal Throne] activated.

Those knives lying on the ground flew up, hovering in mid-air, their tips pointed at Lin Yuanzhou.

They were densely packed; there were countless of them.

"Go." Iron Demon's voice carried undisguised murderous intent.

Those knives shot toward Lin Yuanzhou.

Lin Yuanzhou did not retreat; he expanded his Telekinesis, and an invisible shield blocked his front.

The knives hit the shield, clanging like rain hitting a tin roof, sparks flying everywhere.

One, three, ten, twenty...

Those knives that had fallen to the ground flew up again, shooting over once more, round after round, endless.

Suddenly, a knife pierced through the shield, grazed Lin Yuanzhou's shoulder, and tore his trench coat.

Another knife pierced through the shield and shot into his other shoulder.

Yet another one shot into his thigh.

But Lin Yuanzhou still persisted.

Green Python, who was on the side, moved. He had been waiting, waiting for Lin Yuanzhou's attention to be entirely focused on Iron Demon,

waiting for his Telekinesis shield to get thinner and thinner, waiting for him to reveal a flaw.

He flicked his fingers in the air, green light burst from his fingertips, and those long-dormant vines emerged from the gaps in the gravel,

wrapping around Lin Yuanzhou's ankles, calves, waist, arms, and neck.

The vines had barbs that pierced his skin; blood seeped from the wounds, and toxins flowed into his blood vessels along the barbs.

Lin Yuanzhou's body began to go numb, and his Telekinesis shield dimmed.

Iron Demon raised his hands again, and the remaining knives flew up, their tips aimed at Lin Yuanzhou's heart, throat, and head.

Lin Yuanzhou gritted his teeth. The shield he had erected with Telekinesis had already shattered, and his Mental Energy was bottoming out, but the document could not fall into their hands.

Lin Yuanzhou mobilized the last trace of telekinesis in his body, condensing the invisible force into invisible blades that sliced at the vines wrapped around him.

The vines snapped, and Lin Yuanzhou instantly broke free, but his legs went weak, and he almost knelt on the ground.

Those flying knives flew past where he had just been.

Lin Yuanzhou stood up. "Iron Demon, haven't you always wanted this document?"

"Even if I die, I won't let the document fall into your hands."
