150: Chapter 150 The Final Madness

There was nothing in the sky: no planes, no birds, no clouds.

The moment they looked up, Wang Lin moved.

Wrapped in Black Flame, he charged toward Green Python at extreme Speed—

so fast that Green Python couldn't even lower his head in time, so fast that Iron Demon couldn't even shout.

By the time Green Python lowered his head, Wang Lin was already very close, close enough to see the dark flames in Wang Lin's eyes.

Green Python couldn't feel the heat, but from the distorted air and the scorched ground, he knew just how high the temperature was.

Fire overcomes wood. Among all elemental restraints, fire's restraint over wood is the most absolute; there are no exceptions.

He dared not resist, nor could he even muster the thought of resisting. There was only one idea in his mind: run.

Green Python turned and ran, faster than he had ever run in his entire life.

Wang Lin extended his right hand, his palm split open, and a Tentacle drilled out, wrapping around Green Python's neck. Giving him no chance to struggle, he pulled hard.

Green Python's feet left the ground, and his body flew toward Wang Lin uncontrollably.

Green Python reached out to grab the Tentacle wrapped around his neck, trying to tear it off, but the Black Flame scorched him, making a sizzling sound.

Wang Lin's hand grabbed Green Python's neck, and the Black Flame activated. Green Python's body began to melt in that hand, turning directly into ashes.

One second, less than one second. Green Python had disappeared, leaving only a pile of ash on the ground.

Wang Lin stood in place, the Black Flame on his body slowly extinguishing, revealing his original appearance.

He looked down at the pile of ash and clapped his hands: "Alright, one down. Now there is one left."

Wang Lin paused, as if remembering something. Looking at the pile of ash on the ground, he frowned: "Oh, I almost forgot, you were still useful."

"How did I accidentally burn you into ash?"

Wang Lin had genuinely forgotten. He had originally intended to devour Green Python. He hadn't held back and burned him away completely. What a pity.

These words fell into Iron Demon's ears not as a pity, but as a provocation.

"You are not my opponent; you don't even have the qualifications to make me take you seriously."

"I accidentally burned your companion to death, just like accidentally stepping on an ant."

Iron Demon was instantly enraged. Hardening his heart, he abruptly raised both hands, and the swords and blades scattered on the ground flew up again,

suspended in mid-air, dense and countless in number.

But they didn't shoot out; they just hung there.

Wang Lin laughed: "A very nice Superpower. Do you know you look very cool right now? Do you know what you look like?"

Iron Demon didn't speak, afraid to make the first move.

Wang Lin took another step forward: "The way you look right now, it really feels like the 'Return of Ten Thousand Swords', you know?"

"Just like those big villains in TV shows, standing alone on a mountaintop with countless swords behind them. It looks so cool."

"So cool. I really like your Superpower."

"This Superpower of yours was born for showboating, do you know that?"

Wang Lin walked straight toward Iron Demon, like a collector admiring his spoils of war.

Iron Demon waved his hand violently, and the swords and blades suspended in the air shot toward Wang Lin.

Wang Lin didn't retreat, nor did he stop. A dark golden light flowed from his fingertips to his entire arm, then spread across his whole body: [Vajra Transformation].

The swords and blades struck Wang Lin, clanging incessantly as sparks flew everywhere.

Not a single blade could pierce in, and not a single sword could break his skin.

Vajra collided with metal; other than leaving white marks, nothing else remained.

Wang Lin continued to walk forward, a smile still hanging on the corner of his mouth: "Right, the physics teacher once said, how many times is the hardness of Vajra compared to iron metal?"

"Let me think... ah, right, it seems to be about 2 times."

"So your blades cannot cut me."

Iron Demon's face turned even paler. Gritting his teeth, he waved both hands, and the metal fragments scattered on the ground coalesced into a large iron hammer,

larger than the previous one, and smashed it down toward Wang Lin's head.

Wang Lin didn't take the hit head-on. A cyan light suddenly lit up under his feet, and his Speed Ability was activated.

He flashed aside, and the hammer smashed past him, hitting the ground.

A deafening roar ensued; the ground was smashed into a large crater, gravel flew, and dust filled the air.

Wang Lin stood to the side, brushing the dust off his clothes.

"The physics teacher also said that with the same amount of force, the larger the volume, the slower the Speed."

"Your Speed right now is much slower than before."

Seeing that metal was ineffective against him and that he couldn't keep up with his Speed, Iron Demon knew he couldn't win, nor could he escape.

Hardening his heart, he abruptly raised both hands, and a dark red light burst from his palms.

The carriage behind suddenly broke off, detaching from the entire train. The sound of twisting metal was like ghosts wailing and wolves howling, and sparks flew everywhere.

That carriage flew up, suspended in mid-air like a giant iron block.

Iron Demon looked at Wang Lin, a final trace of ruthlessness flashing in his eyes. With a wave of his hand, the carriage smashed toward Wang Lin.

He was gambling, gambling that Wang Lin would go to save the passengers in the carriage.

He couldn't beat Wang Lin, couldn't kill him, and those passengers were his only bargaining chip, as well as his only chance to survive.

He didn't need to win; he only needed Wang Lin to be distracted.

One second would be enough, enough for him to disappear into the darkness, enough for him to survive.

Wang Lin looked at the carriage smashing toward him, looking at the passengers inside the carriage.

They were locked inside, doors and windows tightly shut; they couldn't get out, nor could they escape.

Iron Demon never intended for them to live from the very beginning; from silencing them to using them as hostages, they were just tools to be discarded after use.

Wang Lin's eyes turned cold, and killing intent permeated the air.

A cyan light suddenly lit up under Wang Lin's feet, and he shot toward Iron Demon like a bolt of cyan lightning.

He did not rush over to save those people as Iron Demon had anticipated.

Wang Lin had never been a hero; he was not a hostage rescue expert who would be morally kidnapped,

nor was he a saint who would put himself in danger to save strangers.

He was not Chu Tian; he was Wang Lin.

Iron Demon's pupils constricted violently. He hadn't expected Wang Lin to ignore the rescue and instead charge at him.

His body instinctively backed away, and he turned to run.

But Wang Lin was faster than him. Activating his Wind Ability and his Speed Ability, he was like a gust of wind, and also like a bolt of lightning.

Wang Lin's fist smashed into Iron Demon's back. Iron Demon flew forward, crashed into the carriage wall, and slid down.

Wang Lin didn't go to save those people, but Chu Tian, who had been hiding on the side, moved.

He rushed toward the flying carriage.

Chu Tian's Superpower was [Gravity Manipulation], which could double or halve the Gravity around him, or make the weight of a certain object lighter or heavier.

If it were a stationary carriage parked on the rails, he could easily lift it with a Gravity field,

as simple as moving a large rock.

But this carriage was not stationary; it had been smashed over fiercely by Iron Demon's [Metal Throne],

carrying the force of a thousand jun, carrying all the killing intent and final madness of a Level 6 Esper.
