316: Longyu Company's delivery cycle

"Oh no, I forgot to adjust this installation cycle. Professor Li mentioned it to me," Bu Jinmai said, slapping his forehead. "I forgot as soon as I got busy."

"Hmm, it's okay, just adjust it. No need to change other places, that arrangement is quite good," Liu Xiaolin said with satisfaction. "Langfang Fine Carving can start scheduling production according to this production schedule next Monday."

"Okay, I'll have them change it right away," Bu Jinmai said, taking the production schedule.

"Alright, you guys stay busy. I still need to go check out the Chip Production Workshop," Liu Xiaolin said, standing up.

"Okay, after we finish adjusting the cycle and add all the subsequent data, we'll send you a copy," Bu Jinmai said.

"Hmm, it would be best if you could give it to me the day after tomorrow. I need to communicate with General Manager Lai of Langfang Fine Carving," Liu Xiaolin said.

"No problem. There isn't much data to add later. We'll work overtime and try to give it to you before work ends tomorrow," Bu Jinmai said.

"Okay, you've worked hard. I'll be going now." Liu Xiaolin finished speaking and left.

As he walked into the Chip Production Workshop, Liu Xiaolin was still quietly calculating in his mind: "Longyu Company's delivery cycle is four months, but that was determined based on the production efficiency of the 1.0 Lithography Machine. Now, the production efficiency of the 2.0 Lithography Machine has greatly improved, so all deliveries should be completed in about two and a half to three months. This way, it can help Langfang Fine Carving alleviate some production pressure."

Thinking of this, he felt much less pressure.

"General Manager Liu, you've come to the workshop again?" Li Zhaolong greeted Liu Xiaolin after seeing him. "Tongtong is home, so you have time to come and see the workshop now, huh?"

"That's not right. When Tongtong wasn't sick, I came to the workshop often, okay?" Liu Xiaolin said, unconvinced.

"Right, I remembered incorrectly." Li Zhaolong quickly conceded. "Then let me take you to see the R&D group? The task given by your parents-in-law is already being prioritized, and the Chip samples for other customers have been moved back a bit."

"No need. I don't understand the work of the R&D group very well, so going there would just waste their time," Liu Xiaolin said self-awarely. "I'll just look around the workshop. Our Chip Production Workshop has been producing for almost a month now. How many Chips have been sent to Longyu Company?"

"As of yesterday, two hundred thousand Chips have been sent out. This is because the 1.0 Lithography Machines were producing in the early stage, which is slower. It will be much faster afterward, and it's estimated that all deliveries will be completed in less than two months," Li Zhaolong said.

"Hmm, I was calculating the same thing on my way here. It seems my estimate is pretty close," Liu Xiaolin said, a little proudly.

"Although General Manager Liu doesn't manage the workshop, he understands the situation here very thoroughly," Li Zhaolong praised sincerely.

"Haha, you can estimate correctly as long as you know addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division," Liu Xiaolin started to be humble again.

"Haha, it sounds like I'm flattering you," Li Zhaolong was amused by himself.

"Oh, by the way, I have something to discuss with you," Liu Xiaolin said seriously. "On Friday, can we allow some operators from Langfang Fine Carving to come for half a day of internship?"

"Internship?" Li Zhaolong was a bit confused. "Is there a need for that? The workers in our workshop go directly to work after training."

"That's because there were no conditions for internships, right? It's different now. There's a place for them to intern. It would be good for them to come and adapt for half a day, wouldn't it?" Liu Xiaolin still insisted.

"Since you insist so much, how can I object? How about this, we can arrange twenty people for each step of each lithography machine, a total of eighty people for the four steps. For two lithography machines, have them select one hundred and sixty people to come for the internship," Li Zhaolong considered for a moment and gave a number of interns.

"Great! Then I'll tell General Manager Lai tomorrow and have him select the interns," Liu Xiaolin was very happy.

"How would General Manager Lai select them? He's not a training teacher," Li Zhaolong rolled his eyes at Liu Xiaolin. "Just tell the training teachers in the training group and have them select them."

"Oh right, I forgot about that group," Liu Xiaolin said with a smile. "Then please tell them."

"No problem, I will notify them to select excellent trainees to come for the internship," Li Zhaolong said.

"Okay, then I'll go now and won't bother you. Communicate promptly if anything comes up." Liu Xiaolin felt that since things here were done, he should leave quickly, otherwise Li Zhaolong would have to accompany him and waste his time.

When Liu Xiaolin returned to the General Manager's office, he looked at his watch; it was already past four o'clock.

"I'll call Tongtong and ask her what she wants to eat and pack it to take back for her," Liu Xiaolin thought to himself, then took out his phone to make a call.

"Tongtong, I'm almost off work. What kind of food from our cafeteria do you want to eat tonight? I'll pack it and bring it back for you," Liu Xiaolin asked immediately after the call connected.

"No need, don't bring anything. Mom personally stewed fish head and radish soup. It smells so good, my mouth is watering now. All I want to do is drink the fish soup, I don't want to eat anything else, haha," Hong Tongtong said with a smile. "Why don't you come home earlier? Once you're home, I can eat the delicious food Mom made sooner." www.x33xs.com

"Okay, I've pretty much finished the company matters. I originally wanted to go check out the lithography machine production workshop, but now I've decided not to go. I'll head home first." Listening to Hong Tongtong's clear voice and the sound of her secretly swallowing, Liu Xiaolin naturally agreed wholeheartedly.

"Ah? So you're leaving now? I told my Mom that we're eating at 5:30, okay?" Hong Tongtong said anxiously.

"Okay, I'll leave for home immediately and should be home around five o'clock," Liu Xiaolin said.

"Alright, I'll wait for you," Hong Tongtong finished speaking and hung up the phone.

Liu Xiaolin then immediately went downstairs, got in his car, and set off.

Hong Tongtong's home in the city center was a place Liu Xiaolin had stayed for a few days, so he was familiar with the route.

Thirty minutes later, Liu Xiaolin arrived. After knocking on the door, Hong Tongtong jumped out like a little bird to open it. "Wow, you're so fast!"

"Wasn't I afraid you'd be starving? Haha." Liu Xiaolin held Hong Tongtong's hand and walked into the house.

"Xiaolin is back?" Tong Mingzhu quickly walked out of the kitchen upon hearing the sound to greet him.

"Hello Auntie, I'm back. Where's my Uncle?" Liu Xiaolin asked.

"Your Uncle is upstairs looking at documents. We're home, but we've brought our work home too," Tong Mingzhu said. "Running a business is like this, constantly busy like a spinning top."

"I'm alright. For several of my companies, I've delegated authority because one person's energy is limited, and you can't manage everything if you keep it all in your hands," Liu Xiaolin said.

"It's different. Your companies are wholly-owned, while our Deli Air Conditioning is a joint venture. Everyone is watching, so we have to work," Tong Mingzhu said with a sigh.
