168: Do you allow it?

"Do you allow it?"

After thoroughly kissing her, Tu Nan waited for this question.

Her eyes were moist, and her cheeks were flushed with an alluring redness from holding her breath through several rounds just now.

"What if I say no?" Tu Nan wanted to see how he would respond.

"A lie." Hain helped move the clothes off her body and onto the floor, biting her lightly on the nose with a smile.

"I heard you say yes."

He had learned to be a little naughty.

"Be gentle, Children..." Although it wasn't a big issue, Tu Nan couldn't help but remind him.

Hain gently touched her belly; she was still a few days shy of one and a half months, and her figure hadn't changed yet.

"I will be careful." He was very devout. "Besides, this is good for the Children..."

Tu Nan was surprised. "What?"

Hain kept kissing her incessantly, causing his words to be slightly indistinct. "A secret... My Uncle passed this down to me..."

She suspected this was related to the matter she was currently researching, but Hain took her distraction as a slight.

He felt it was because he wasn't trying hard enough, so he became even more active.

To prevent him from using his S-Class precision control and perception entirely on her, Tu Nan had to abandon those thoughts and seriously treat this true first time between them.

She could already distinguish good techniques from bad, yet she found that when someone approached the matter with the utmost seriousness, the technique itself became less important.

Tu Nan greatly enjoyed the feeling of being the sole focus of his attention.

But sometimes, there was no need to be so cautious.

When Hain stopped again and asked her to comment on his summary of learning and improvement, Tu Nan finally honestly and breathlessly articulated the surging, tidal wave of feelings she experienced.

That almost led to Hain doubting himself; he couldn't believe he had such Talent and could receive such exaggerated praise on his first try.

Not until Tu Nan angrily grabbed his hand and made him feel her response.

Only then did Hain's eyes widen in sudden realization, followed by a purely triumphant smile, like a big boy receiving his first life medal.

He was so happy he didn't know what to do.

And so... he became even more eager to learn.

In any case, Hain made rapid progress tonight, in every sense of the word.

Tu Nan slept very soundly until she was gently woken up.

"Nannan." Hain whispered gently in her ear: "Lance is outside the door."

Tu Nan had to open her eyes, and immediately she was hugged, kissed, and caressed, nearly making her mind hazy again.

The bracelet vibrated.

Tu Nan tapped it open; it was Lance.

“Are you up yet! New employees are starting today, didn't you say we'd go to the factory together? I'm about to pound on the door!”

"Oh dear!" Tu Nan sat up abruptly. "I forgot I had something on at the company today!"

She hurriedly got up and rushed into the bathroom to wash, and soon after, wrapped in a bath towel, she peeked her head out into the room.

Fully awake now, she felt a little embarrassed, realizing that such a large Male Beast was standing in her room, watching her with great interest.

It was as if just watching her do something so mundane brought Hain pleasure.

"...Turn around, I need to come out and get clothes." Tu Nan's gaze drifted.

Hain shook his head, his face full of doting affection.

He hooked his outer robe from yesterday, draped it over himself, got out of bed, and straightened the tie. Then, he flashed Tu Nan a bright smile.

"I'll get them for you."

Ignoring Tu Nan's objections, he went to the dressing room on his own and soon returned with a complete set of clothes.

A set of underwear was placed on top.

Extremely thoughtful.

"Shall I help you put them on?" His eyes were full of expectation.

Tu Nan quickly reached out, snatched the clothes, and retreated into the bathroom, unsure if she had heard him chuckle.

Maybe it was just an illusion.

How could Hain mock a lady?

When she emerged from the bathroom again, Hain was already properly dressed, at least all the buttons on his outer robe were fastened.

Standing tall and handsome in the morning light, he was once again the gentle and refined Young Master.

If she ignored the fact that the folded inner garments in his hand weren't on his body... "Are you... not wearing... them?" Tu Nan stammered.

Was he wearing nothing under his long robe? Was he going out like this?

"Do you mind?" Hain frowned. "But these... they got dirty."

He looked at the clothes in his hand with slight hesitation. Female Beasts were indeed meticulous about their outward etiquette; he had overlooked this.

Only then did Tu Nan notice the folded clothes also bore marks of being soaked by an unknown liquid, and her face flushed crimson. Seeing that Hain actually seemed ready to put those clothes back on, she covered her face and stopped him.

"Don't wear them, don't!" Hain blinked and complied readily.

Tu Nan had no choice but to ask him: "What size clothes do you wear? I'll go buy some for you later... Can you... wait here? It might take a while, I have to go to the company first."

This time, she was genuinely embarrassed.

Hain, however, seemed very happy. "You don't need to trouble yourself. I'll have someone pack my clothes and send them over."

Tu Nan's eyes widened, and then her expression cooled.

"Wait a moment... Hain."

She pulled herself out of the shame and warm atmosphere.

This was something she was always good at.

"No, it can't be now. Saying this makes me sound like a terrible person, but the truth is, even after last night, nothing has fundamentally changed."

Tu Nan bit her lip.

"I still haven't figured things out." She nervously gnawed at her fingernails. "It's too messy... I just invited... home, hoping she could help me with some work. Plus, Kong..."

Glancing at Hain, she suppressed the name.

"I also asked him to introduce me to Your Majesty, and he's currently on a mission, so I don't know if he's in danger... And when we get to the Capital City, it will be his Decoration Ceremony."

"What have I done!"

Tu Nan suddenly broke down, squatting on the floor.

Reality thus descended upon the cozy room, hitting them head-on.

Hain stood still for a moment, pursed his lips, and approached her.

He picked Tu Nan up from the floor and placed her on a chair.

"Don't be like this... Don't panic."

He ran his fingers through Tu Nan's messy hair, skillfully braiding it.

Finding a ribbon from somewhere, he tied the end of the braid before continuing to speak.

"This is all my fault. You must remember, don't blame yourself."

Tu Nan, with her braid, looked even more lively, and Hain adored her more and more the longer he looked.

After last night, his affection deepened even more.

"Look... Miss Gu is my fiancée, Kong Jiamu is my friend, Your Majesty is my sovereign, and the Two Children... can also be my Children."

Hain's turbulent heart miraculously calmed down as he spoke.

It was the certainty that comes from his efforts receiving a genuine response.

Now that they had a beginning, why fear the future?

"Let us deal with these issues together. Let's wait until after the Decoration Ceremony, once you've met Your Majesty, alright?"

Hain gently reminded her: "By then, you'll also be starting to show."

Yes, soon.

The fact that Hain was willing to delay until then was enough.

Tu Nan raised her head, looked at Hain, and, under his sympathetic gaze, bit her lip and finally nodded.

Hain touched the tip of her braid.

"But I want to move in. Is the spot next to the third floor still empty? I'll live there, how about that?"

Tu Nan hesitated for a moment, then nodded again.

Then your Children might be able to have their Talent Awakening early... that would be great.
