133: Three-headed dragon?
The Fire Kirin frowned, its crimson vertical pupils staring at the Flame Orangutan before it.
After its revival, its condition had fully recovered, and the Ember True Flame within its body was also at its peak, perhaps even stronger.
Although it didn't put this small flame in its eyes at all, letting this Dead Monkey off so easily still made it feel quite disgusted.
However, since it was now a member of the Abyss, and this Dead Monkey had also become its "comrade-in-arms," it wasn't good to be too petty.
Thinking of this, the Fire Kirin secretly ground its teeth, but ultimately slowly retracted its sharp claws from the Orangutan's body.
The Flame Orangutan scrambled away from the Fire Kirin, its heart finally settling back into its chest.
Now that the Fire Kirin had become a big shot in the Abyss, and very likely its direct superior, it didn't want to be tortured and killed by the Fire Kirin in the future.
Just as the atmosphere was tense, the void suddenly twisted, and Ye Chen's phantom appeared before everyone.
All the demonic beasts bowed in unison.
"Welcome, Lord of the Abyss!"
The Fire Kirin's pupils constricted slightly, and it lowered its head slightly in respect: "Greetings, Lord of the Abyss!"
"Rise. Tell me about the Elemental World you came from." Ye Chen's gaze was sharp.
The Fire Kirin recalled for a moment before stating:
"The Elemental World I came from is not a conventional single-layered world topography, but rather is composed of multiple worlds twisted and folded, forming multi-layered beast domains. The one I had been living in before was one of them—the Fire Beast Domain."
"Each beast domain is extremely vast. I don't know much about the other beast domains, but in the Fire Beast Domain, there are seven other fire-attributed demonic beasts of the same rank as me. They are distributed throughout the Fire Beast Domain, and their strength is inferior to mine."
"But above us, there is an eighth-rank demonic beast that has comprehended the complete Law of Flame. It is the overlord of the entire Fire Beast Domain!"
After hearing the Fire Kirin's description, Ye Chen felt a slight joy in his heart, not expecting this Elemental World to be a buy-one-get-many deal.
The structure of this Elemental World was somewhat similar to the Abyss, both being composed of multiple layers of worlds.
However, compared to the Abyss, its strength was clearly much higher.
If each beast domain had so many seventh-rank and eighth-rank powerhouses, then the power of this Elemental World would be extremely terrifying.
Thinking of this, Ye Chen asked again:
"If those seven demonic beasts of the same rank were killed and subdued, would you all have a chance to kill that eighth-rank overlord by working together?"
The Fire Kirin shook its head without hesitation.
"The difference is too great. The strength gap between each rank after seventh-rank is enormous, and the opponent is also walking on the path of the Law of Flame. Our control over the Law is not something we can compare to; our flames simply cannot harm it."
After hearing the Fire Kirin's words, a hint of disappointment flashed in Ye Chen's eyes.
He had originally wanted to risk a small stake for a big gain, relying on the Abyss's resurrection mechanism to sweep through the entire Elemental World, but now it seemed to be a pipe dream.
Indeed, it could be seen from this combined effort to kill the Fire Kirin.
The Demonic Dragon and its six sixth-rank demonic beasts were also fire-attributed, yet under their encirclement, the Fire Kirin remained resilient.
It was only with the addition of Gavin, Lei Ya, Sharia, and a large number of fourth-rank and fifth-rank dependents that the Fire Kirin was injured.
Moreover, these injuries recovered in the blink of an eye under the effect of the Ember True Flame.
The successful killing of the Fire Kirin this time was truly a stroke of luck.
Without the Abyss suppressing its strength and domain, coupled with the combined attacks of all Abyss dependents, even with the resurrection mechanism, it would probably be impossible to kill the Fire Kirin before the Abyss Power was exhausted.
It now seemed that they could only proceed slowly, devouring worlds as quickly as possible to increase the Abyss's strength.
Unfortunately, the structure of the Elemental World was not a normal single-layered world, making it difficult for the Fire Kirin to go to other beast domains.
Otherwise, the Fire Kirin could have been sent to stir up trouble between its own boss and other overlords, thereby reaping the benefits of their conflict.
"You return to the Fire Beast Domain first, deal with those seven demonic beasts of the same rank, and don't leave any other demonic beasts alive along the way."
Ye Chen instructed the Fire Kirin.
If these seven high-rank demonic beasts could be successfully captured, it would greatly enhance the Abyss's foundation.
After receiving the order, the Fire Kirin returned to the Elemental World through the teleportation array.
However, the Demonic Dragon and the others were kept behind by Ye Chen.
Now it was time to divide the spoils.
What spoils?
Naturally, a large number of corpses.
The greatest spoil among them was the corpse of the Fire Kirin; a high-rank demonic beast corpse was unique in the Abyss.
This was also the reason Ye Chen sent the Fire Kirin away; after all, it was its original body, and it would be inappropriate to dismember it in front of it.
In addition, there were a large number of corpses of Abyss dependents who had died in the Abyss and the Elemental World.
Since the Fire Kirin's techniques were all fire-based skills, most of the corpses were carbonized and inedible.
Only a small number of corpses were barely preserved.
Besides the Fire Kirin, the most valuable were the several corpses of the Flame Orangutan.
In this battle, the Flame Orangutan contributed the most, greatly drawing the Fire Kirin's aggro, which led to the final victory.
Therefore, one-third of the Fire Kirin's corpse was given to it, and it also received one of its own corpses.
Receiving its share, the Flame Orangutan rubbed its claws, drooling:
"Hehe, I never knew what I tasted like, but today I can finally try it!"
As for the remaining corpses, they were distributed to the various dependents according to their contribution.
As the dependents ravenously devoured the food in front of them, their strength visibly increased.
Some dependents even broke through their ranks directly.
And after the Demonic Dragon finished eating its Fire Kirin meal, a tremendous change occurred.
Its entire body made popping sounds like beans, and its already enormous size rapidly grew taller.
At the same time, the two "tumors" that had been bulging on its shoulders for a long time finally burst open, and two massive dragon heads emerged from within.
These two dragon heads had slight differences from the original one.
One of the more slender dragon heads emerged first. This dragon head was grayish-Green overall, with emerald-colored wind patterns carved on its surface, and two light Green dragon horns on top of its head.
In the depths of this dragon head's pupils, an unceasing storm swirled.
The other, more robust dragon head was full of oppression, presenting an overall dark purple color, with golden lightning patterns carved on its surface, and two purple dragon horns that constantly flashed with electric light on top of its head.
Within its pupils, endless lightning flashed.
The Demonic Dragon's main dragon head was clearly a bit bewildered. It looked at the Wind Dragon head, then at the Lei Ya Dragon head, and opened its mouth as if to complain about something.
At this moment, the Lei Ya Dragon head spoke first:
"You lowly mongrel, how dare you share a body with me!"
With that, Lei Ya Dragon was the first to attack, spitting out bolts of lightning directly at the Demonic Dragon and the Wind Dragon.
The lightning was extremely fast, striking them heavily before they could even react.
Both dragon heads convulsed after suddenly suffering the lightning attack.
After recovering, the Wind Dragon was not to be outdone. The wind patterns on its face quickly lit up, and countless wind blades shot out, heading straight for Lei Ya Dragon.
It didn't attack the Demonic Dragon, so it still had some rationality.
The wind blades rapidly cut at Lei Ya Dragon, leaving countless tiny wounds.
Caught in the middle, the Demonic Dragon, seeing the two dragons fighting fiercely, quickly tried to persuade them: "You two are like garlic birds, neither of you can swim…"
