197: Eye of the Abyss!

"Abyss Domain!"

Ye Chen decisively unleashed his domain, the supreme domain of the Lord of the Abyss, revealing itself for the first time before everyone.

Countless twisted Abyssal demonic patterns burned in the air.

Chaos, evil, decay, despair, disorder, fear…

Various laws peeled away from the Abyss, solidifying into substance, wrapping around him like chains.

The black mist from the Abyss also rapidly condensed around Ye Chen, forming a unique domain.

And Ye Chen, at the center of the domain, had also transformed.

He… split open.

Yes, literally, he just split open, fresh and vibrant.

Of course, it wasn't his body that split, but his entire existence.

His figure rapidly dissipated under the embrace of the laws, reorganizing into a rift suspended in the void amidst violent tremors.

The entire space was violently torn open, and Ye Chen, suspended in the center of the Abyss, transformed into a forbidden existence—the Eye of the Abyss!

The Eye of the Abyss was not an eye in the traditional sense, but a gaping "fissure."

Within the "fissure" was a mysterious light, like a faint glow emanating from an eye.

Within this "fissure," there existed the great terror of the world.

This was an unnamable power; where it passed, space rippled, and even time seemed to be corroded.

If any creature gazed into this rift, it would be firmly drawn by the faint light within, and unknowingly suffer the corrupting erosion of the Abyss.

This was the origin of "When you gaze into the Abyss, the Abyss also gazes into you."

When the domain was unleashed, Ye Chen would transform into the "Eye of the Abyss," able to "stare" opponents to death with his gaze, which was why he had never used this domain before.

Unleashing the Abyss Domain within the Abyss itself was such a bizarre act that only Ye Chen could pull it off.

As the "fissure" within the Abyss Domain slowly opened, the eyes of all creatures were involuntarily drawn to it.

They stared blankly and foolishly at the faint light within the fissure, completely unaware of the abnormalities in their bodies.

Even the Abyssal kin resurrected by the Abyss were no exception; their hollow eyes gazed at the Eye of the Abyss, completely oblivious to their bodies' demonization.

Only the demons were immune to this erosion.

They had crawled out of the Abyss to begin with; the Abyss was like a mother to them, so how could they be affected by it?

The old Troll stopped outside the temple gate, his eyes also involuntarily drawn to the Eye of the Abyss.

But soon, a faint glow emanated from the temple, dispelling the influence on the old Troll.

This caused his usually calm emotions to fluctuate violently; this eye could actually affect his thoughts and emotions, so what about the other Trolls…

Indeed, when he looked around, the Trolls had already undergone various mutations.

Some had demonic horns sprouting from their heads, some had demonic wings tearing through their backs, and even the strongest Zandalar Troll had veins bulging and fingernails turning into black demonic claws.

This transformation was still ongoing, and most Trolls already had a demonic appearance.

"Not good!"

The old Troll's heart sank; he couldn't let them keep staring at that eye!

Thinking of this, the old Troll once again activated his staff.

A grayish-white mist spread out from the temple, enveloping the Trolls, intending to obscure their eyes and awaken their consciousness.

But although the Trolls' eyes were obscured by the mist, their minds remained fixated on the Eye of the Abyss.

The Trolls, with their eyes covered by the mist, still stared intently in the direction of the Eye of the Abyss, and the changes in their bodies did not slow down at all.

"Wake up!"

The old Troll's voice echoed throughout the Abyss, but it did not awaken a single Troll.

The Trolls continued to mutate rapidly, the demonic aura on their bodies growing thicker.

Seeing that his methods were useless, the old Troll charged towards the Eye of the Abyss, staff in hand.

If he couldn't awaken his kin, then he would shatter this eye and completely liberate them!

As the old Troll got closer and closer to the Eye of the Abyss, the influence he experienced also increased.

Even if he no longer looked directly at the Eye of the Abyss, it couldn't change the abnormalities in his body.

The old Troll could feel countless maggots crawling under his skin, constantly burrowing deeper into his body.

When he finally stepped near the Eye of the Abyss, his body felt as heavy as a thousand pounds.

But a relieved smile appeared on his face.

He picked up the staff in his hand, ready to deliver a fatal blow to the Eye of the Abyss.

At this moment, a demon appeared out of thin air within the Abyss Domain.

Then the law of "Fear" was directly peeled from the Abyss Domain and applied to this demon.

Apollo was watching the battle from the crowd, not expecting to appear in front of the Eye of the Abyss the next second, with a thick staff heading towards him.

Facing such a powerful blow, Apollo couldn't help but sigh.

Well, time to go home and wait for resurrection.

Just then, he suddenly felt a mysterious power being bestowed upon him.

This was the power called "Fear."

This power gave him a sudden sense of enlightenment; all his previous doubts about laws were inexplicably resolved at this moment.

And his strength also rapidly increased under the blessing of the Fear law, quickly reaching "Pseudo-Tier 8."

After all, it was a product catalyzed by laws, still some distance from true Tier 8.

"Is this the 'Fear' law? So that's how it is!"

Apollo licked the corner of his mouth, a hint of madness flashing in his eyes.

"This power… it's absolutely awesome!"

With the blessing of the Fear law, Apollo's confidence surged, and Fear Netherflame erupted from him, rushing towards the staff.

Although the old Troll was somewhat puzzled by Apollo's rapid increase in strength, his movements were not affected in the slightest.

First, deal with this cannon fodder, then the Eye of the Abyss.

The staff directly broke through the Netherflame and heavily struck Apollo's forehead.

Fortunately, at the last moment, Apollo, relying on his danger sense, perceived a fatal crisis and used his broad wings for protection.

The staff only paused slightly before breaking through the wing protection and continuing towards his forehead.

And Apollo had narrowly avoided the vital spot in an instant, taking the blow with his shoulder.

The staff struck his shoulder, directly severing one of his arms at the root.

Apollo was greatly alarmed, not expecting that his greatly enhanced strength was still no match for this old monster.

But he did not retreat; dark Netherflame ignited around him, and his remaining claw went straight for the old Troll's throat.

"Scum! You're courting death!"

The old Troll cursed furiously and did not dodge; his wooden staff struck the claw fiercely, causing flesh and blood to fly.

Apollo seemed to have lost all sensation of pain, pouncing on the old monster like a mad dog, actually making him feel a hint of fear.

But the gap in strength was not so easily bridged; the old Troll forcibly suppressed the fear in his heart and swung his staff at Apollo.
