171: Fighting Phoenix

It suddenly opened its golden vertical pupils, its gorgeous wings spreading rapidly, and it rushed toward the source of the sound like a golden meteor.

In mid-air, the Phoenix's sharp gaze had already discerned the figures of the intruders.

Fire Kirin, Flame Hound, Fire Spirit, Flame Orangutan...

These former subordinates were now surrounding a group of strange monsters.

The Phoenix keenly sensed that the atmosphere was wrong and could not help but scold: "Traitors! To think you would bring outsiders to the Flame Holy Land; if you don't give me an explanation today, none of you are leaving!"

The Phoenix's sharp voice rang in everyone's ears, and immediately, a wave of pressure emanated from its body, weighing down on them.

But the Phoenix was not in a hurry to attack; it seemed to want an explanation.

The Fire Kirin and the others clearly had no reasonable explanation, so they surrounded the Phoenix without a word.

As the only Tier 6 monster, the Flame Orangutan had been specially arranged for this operation by Ye Chen due to its outstanding performance when confronting the Fire Kirin.

At this moment, it was nestled in front of the big shots, yet it was not nervous at all; its calm attitude had the air of a master.

It extended a thick finger to pick its massive nostril, then scratched its buttocks, and finally crooked its finger to provoke the Phoenix.

The Phoenix's eyes grew colder, but it ignored the Flame Orangutan's provocation—it was merely an ant.

In the distant sky, a hundred portals opened simultaneously, occupying the entire sky.

The Abyss portals operated at full capacity, with one hundred portals joining together to form a magnificent, massive portal.

Leviathan's massive body barely squeezed out from inside.

After the Phoenix sensed Leviathan's aura, it felt somewhat surprised.

It was the first time it had seen a perfected existence whose aura was so close to Tier 8; ordinary monsters at this stage should have broken through long ago.

When Leviathan completely descended into this world, the World Will of the Elemental World finally discovered the anomaly.

In an instant, the world changed color; the originally clear sky was quickly occupied by a layer of black clouds, inside which countless lightning snakes slithered.

The group from the Abyss only felt a heavy pressure acting upon them, and their own strength was affected by this pressure, with their control over the laws also becoming somewhat sluggish.

They all unfolded their domains, which finally relieved the suppression.

This was the World Will's suppression of outsiders; if their strength hadn't been high, they would likely have been directly expelled by the World Will.

At the same time, a ray of light fell upon the Phoenix, making its momentum even stronger, and its feathers were filled with rich, flowing light.

The Demon Dragon and the others did not care, as they had already anticipated this situation.

The Elemental World was different from other worlds, composed of multiple layers of worlds, so the World Will could not pay attention to the Fire Beast Domain at all times.

But they had made such a big commotion that as long as the World Will wasn't blind, it would definitely discover the anomaly here.

Therefore, they were not surprised by the world's suppression.

The Phoenix, having received the blessing of the world's power, also had to fulfill its duty to expel the invaders.

A phoenix cry reached everyone's ears, and the onlookers, the Firebirds, retreated one after another, gathering around the Flame Divine Tree.

Following this, the Phoenix transformed directly into a fireball and rushed toward Leviathan.

In its eyes, only this "big fat fish" posed any threat; the others were just small fry.

Along with the Phoenix came a flame domain that covered the sky.

Leviathan also knew its duty; as the main force of this "god-slaying" mission, it certainly would not flee.

After a low roar, it also brought its Starry Sky Domain to meet it.

At this moment, the sky of the Fire Beast Domain turned into two extremes: one half was a world of flames with soaring firelight, and the other side was a dreamlike, brilliant galaxy.

When the two domains collided, countless flame meteors burst out, showering the earth and leaving the Fire Beast Domain riddled with holes.

The other monsters from the Abyss were not idle either; they all launched attacks at the Phoenix from within the Starry Sky Domain, but the effect... well, let's not talk about it.

The crafty Demon Dragon did not waste its efforts but signaled the Fire Kirin to follow.

Then, the two quietly snuck toward the Flame Divine Tree.

The Phoenix valued this tree so much that if they could get their hands on it, they might be able to disturb its state of mind.

When they arrived in front of the Flame Divine Tree, what they saw were dense crowds of Firebirds.

These Firebirds would not show mercy to these two uninvited guests, and countless small fireballs were hurled at the two beasts.

Facing these little things, the two beasts would not hold back and began to use their methods to clear them out.

The strength of these Firebirds varied, with the strongest being two Tier 7 Firebirds.

One was a Qingluan and the other a Fire Phoenix, snuggling together to form a beautiful picture.

They were extremely angry at the rampage of the Demon Dragon and the Fire Kirin.

The two birds did not separate to fight but instead intertwined, transforming into a blue-red intersecting fire wheel.

The fire wheel rotated rapidly in the air and then rushed toward the more threatening Demon Dragon.

The Demon Dragon, fighting two enemies at once, was not panicked at all; its three heads kept spewing skills, wearing down the power of the fire wheel.

When the fire wheel got close, the Demon Dragon directly expanded the End Land to suppress the two birds, followed by a one-sided slaughter.

The two birds were completely no match for the Demon Dragon, and before long, both were severely injured and dying.

When the shrill bird cries reached the Phoenix's ears, what appeared before its eyes was the scene of the Qingluan and Fire Phoenix heading to the yellow springs together.

After the Demon Dragon finished off the Qingluan and Fire Phoenix, the Fire Kirin had also wiped out most of the Firebirds, and then the two rushed toward the Flame Divine Tree.

Seeing its subordinates dead or injured and the culprits running toward its favorite divine tree, the Phoenix let out a sharp cry and then tried to shake off Leviathan to slaughter those two beasts.

Leviathan certainly would not let it leave; "Star Track Prison", "Star Abyss Maw", "Devouring Black Hole"...

Various control and suppression skills were thrown at the Phoenix, not seeking to kill the enemy, but only to drag out its pace.

The stars in the Starry Sky Domain were also shining brightly at this time, blessing these skills and further enhancing their power.

If they were in the universe, relying on the Universe Affinity talent, Leviathan could believe it would truly suppress the Phoenix; but now in this Fire Element world, the Phoenix's home turf, Leviathan's attacks were somewhat weak.

The Phoenix did not care about Leviathan's obstruction; its figure flashed, its body turned into Fire Element and dissipated in place, and it reappeared in front of the Demon Dragon.

The Demon Dragon was gesturing with its sharp claws at the Flame Divine Tree and was caught off guard by this, subconsciously firing a Chaos Annihilation Bullet.

The Annihilation Bullet, which could originally blast out a black hole, had no ripples when it hit the Phoenix, and what greeted the Demon Dragon was a blue fireball from the Fire Phoenix.
