174: Strange arrival

When the Dragon Squad left Dragon Island, the Demonic Dragon was still farming phoenixes in the Elemental World and was unaware of this information, thus regrettably missing out.

By the time the Demonic Dragon returned to Dragon Island and inquired again, it coincidentally encountered the Dragon Squad returning to Dragon Island with the Unspeakable Monster.

They confined it in a specially made cage, using a magic array to extract all sound and light from within the cage, preventing the thing from causing trouble.

When the Dragon Squad brought this twisted monster into the Ancient Dragon’s Lair, it immediately aroused the Ancient Red Dragon’s vigilance.

This thing’s abilities were too bizarre; even the Ancient Red Dragon itself could feel its own mental energy draining and becoming chaotic when observing the monster.

If it weren't for its strong mental barrier, it might have fallen prey to this thing.

Ordinary creatures without mental talent or protection could easily become contaminated by this monster.

And it was highly likely that the first Dragon Squad sent out had been defeated by this strange monster.

The Ancient Red Dragon then awakened its two other companions, the Ancient White Dragon and the Ancient Golden Dragon.

As Ancient Dragons that had existed since the world's inception, they could be considered the most knowledgeable beings in the world.

Their vast knowledge was sufficient to explain all the rules of heaven and earth in this world.

But facing this Unspeakable Monster, they all frowned.

The existence of this thing was beyond their comprehension.

Its constantly twisting form seemed to want to shatter all rules and laws.

Chaos, disorder, evil, pollution, incomprehensible…

It had no reason or goal, acting entirely on chaotic instinct.

And the soul of this thing was equally abstract, like a combination of countless species, without a specific fixed form.

The dragons studied it for a long time but couldn't figure anything out, so they had to give up.

However, they did reach one consensus—this constantly radiating pollution could not be allowed to remain in the world, no matter how precious it was.

So, the Golden Dragon, proficient in the powers of light and purification, took action and directly ended the monster with high-level light magic.

Under the continuous purification and burning of the light fire, the monster quickly lost its vital signs, turning into a charred paste.

The Red Dragon, not reassured, used the Eternal Golden Flame to burn it again, only then allowing the guarding Black Dragon guards to clean it up.

The Black Dragon shoveled the paste into a container specially used for sealing, then respectfully exited the Ancient Dragons' cave.

Leaving the cave, the Black Dragon arrived at a cliff within Dragon Island, a forbidden area of Dragon Island specifically used to deal with evil things.

The bottom of the cliff was an anti-magic zone, capable of suppressing all extraordinary power.

The Black Dragon directly threw the container in its hand into the cliff, then turned and left without looking back.

The container fell all the way to the bottom of the valley, which contained countless bones and debris, all evil things dealt with by Dragon Island over countless years.

The most striking was a monster's corpse that had not yet rotted.

It had a massive body like a mountain, with dozens of thick tentacles extending from its body, each covered with sharp barbs and eyes.

Some of these tentacles were still intact, some were covered in wounds, and some were simply broken off.

Its overall appearance was remarkably similar to Cthulhu.

This was a divine abomination that had wandered from an unknown place thousands of years ago, attracted by this world, intending to devour it.

The Ancient Dragons, who considered themselves guardians of the world, naturally would not tolerate its wanton behavior, so a great battle ensued.

The three Ancient Dragons joined forces, placing the battlefield outside the world to avoid causing damage to it.

After a difficult battle, the Ancient Dragons successfully killed this divine abomination and sealed it in this anti-magic zone.

At this moment, the container holding the Unspeakable Monster was gradually eroding, and drops of black liquid seeped out from the container, gradually forming a small puddle of black water on the ground.

When the liquid in the container had drained, the black puddle finally began to move little by little.

Under a mysterious attraction, it slowly moved towards the divine abomination's corpse, as if something there was drawing it.

As time passed, it finally successfully merged with the divine abomination's corpse, slowly seeping into its body.

After an unknown period, one of the divine abomination's tentacles suddenly twitched, and then its entire body convulsed violently as if electrocuted, only calming down a moment later.

The divine abomination slowly crawled up from the ground, a glimmer of light seeming to flash in its eyes; it was unclear whether it was the divine abomination resurrected or the Unspeakable Monster possessing its corpse.

Originally two chaotic, disordered beings, now fused, they surprisingly possessed a hint of intelligence.

Sensing the lack of extraordinary power and the incompleteness of its body, the divine abomination set its sights on the corpses and sealed objects.

It had a premonition that if it could successfully devour these things, it would undergo a world-shattering transformation.

And the rulers of Dragon Island naturally would not know what severe consequences their oversight would bring.

...

When the Demonic Dragon learned that the Dragon Squad had captured the Unspeakable Monster and brought it back to the island, and that all contaminated creatures in the Human Nations had been cleared, he immediately reported it to Ye Chen.

Ye Chen, seeing that the Unspeakable Monster's soul had not yet returned to the creature panel, guessed that it was not dead.

Now that Dragon Island was under strict lockdown, with the three great Ancient Dragons keeping watch, the Demonic Dragon did not have a good opportunity to act, so he still needed to create one for it.

Thus, Ye Chen waved his hand, resurrecting all thirty-plus Unspeakable Monster souls stored in the soul panel.

These were the souls of Unspeakable Monsters sent back by Beelzebub, which he had been slaying in the Doomsday World during this period.

Beelzebub had been working hard to transform that world, wanting to turn it into his own domain and even a divine kingdom!

During this time, a large number of corpses were sent from the abyss to Beelzebub for him to transform into corrupted flies, and the massive number of flies accelerated the speed of world erosion.

And his strength was also rapidly increasing; Ye Chen had previously sent him a piece of Leviathan's flesh, raising him to the peak of the sixth tier.

And Beelzebub had a premonition that he was not far from the seventh tier.

When the Abyss Will completed its resurrection, more than thirty strange creatures of various forms appeared within the abyss's disguise layer.

Instantly, various bizarre hissing sounds echoed within the disguise layer.

Some unfortunate dependents who heard them immediately fell into madness.

Ye Chen did not allow these monsters to wander in the abyss; based on the coordinates transmitted by the Little Devils during this period, he dispersed them to various worlds outside Dragon Island.

He hoped they could rely on their own advantages to cause widespread panic and destruction as much as possible.

Most of these monsters appeared in the Human Nations, a small portion appeared in foreign territories, and a few even appeared directly in the sea.

But no matter where they appeared, they all caused great commotion.

Humans, elves, orcs, dwarves, sea beasts…

Countless creatures were contaminated by their spread, becoming sources of infection.
