51: Abyss Demon

After being resurrected, the Devils still formed small teams based on families or regions.

Even the skeletons of the Undead race, whose souls were originally human, were transformed into the Devil race after resurrection.

Perhaps, like the Bone Dragon, their souls still belonged to their original race.

However, the cost of resurrecting a Devil was not cheap; each Devil, depending on its strength, required 10 to 100 points of Abyss Power.

There were a total of 250,000 human souls, and the Abyss Power needed to resurrect all of them would be terrifyingly immense.

Ye Chen had insufficient Abyss Power on hand, so he only resurrected a few thousand combat-oriented Devils.

Since they still retained some of their original memories and habits, Ye Chen also resurrected all of the Gryphon race and handed them over to the Gryphon Knights.

If they could form a fighting force, that would be best; otherwise, he would let the Magic Griffons form their own combat team.

Observing the Devils' behavior, he found that their intelligence was higher than that of other Abyss races, and their actions were quite regular.

Some Devils were not idle; they searched for suitable tools and materials to build some houses.

They used the stone mines and uncorrupted wood preserved in the original Divine Realm as raw materials.

Although he did not know the significance of their construction, he still respected their actions.

With this group of Devils filling it, the Abyss also gained some liveliness.

Ye Chen captured a Paladin Devil from the Church of Light and carefully examined his attribute panel.

"Race Name": Abyssal Aberration (Tier 3)

"Level": Transcendent Being (One Star)

"Talents":

1. Abyss Assimilation: Completely immune to physical toxins and common diseases, extremely high affinity for Abyss energy, can convert negative aura into his own strength, all attributes increased by 40% in Abyss and chaotic environments.

2. Flesh Remolding: Can instantly reconstruct damaged limbs when injured; severe damage can be accelerated by devouring flesh, and he will enter a "Berserk State" when near death, doubling his attack power but losing his sanity.

3. Fear Intimidation: In Devil form, his body radiates Abyss pressure, causing lower-tier creatures to reduce their attack power by 30% due to fear, and those with weak willpower may even lose the ability to move.

"Skills":

1. Demonic Body Awakening: Forcibly transforms from human form into a Devil, with a horny layer covering his body, bone wings growing from his back, a surge in strength and defense, and simultaneously releases a wide-range dark energy shockwave, repelling surrounding enemies.

2. Abyss Rip Claw: His hands transform into huge bone claws, tearing space to launch claw attacks, with a "Flesh Corrosion" effect, causing hit wounds to continuously disintegrate and unable to heal naturally.

3. Calamity Siphon: Summons blood-colored chains to bind enemies, extracting the target's life force and magic energy to replenish his own state.

4. Fallen Meteor: After a brief charge, he ascends into the sky, transforming into a burning demonic shadow that crashes to the ground, causing a wide-range explosion, with the explosion's center forming a ten-second lasting Abyss vortex, dragging enemies into it and inflicting "Gravity Suppression" and "Shadow Burning" dual damage.

...

This Devil's original light-based skills could no longer be used, but his overall strength had greatly increased.

The ability to absorb negative aura to increase his strength greatly enhanced the Devil's potential.

Moreover, he still retained some warrior-class skills in his human form.

He then checked the souls in the soul list; the most numerous remaining were Shadow Hound and Vampire Bats.

He resurrected all the Shadow Hounds and threw them into the fifth layer of Shadow Abyss to accompany the Shadow Assassin.

He also moved the Little Devils in, letting them learn Enter the Shadows from the Shadow Assassin.

As for the Vampire Bats, they were temporarily kept; he would resurrect them if there was enough Abyss Power.

After doing all this, Ye Chen converted all other miscellaneous souls into soul fragments, transforming them into Worm souls.

He spent 130,000 Abyss Power to resurrect all the Worms, bringing the number of Worms in the Abyss to 200,000.

The remaining 400,000 Abyss Power was kept, preparing to perfect a major feature of the Abyss—Abyss Invasion.

Now that there were Nine Layer Abyss, and each layer had considerable military strength, he naturally could not support them for nothing.

Since each layer of the Abyss had the ability to fight independently, he would release them all to contribute to the development of the Abyss.

However, the Abyss was still incomplete, and many issues needed consideration.

How to go to Otherworld? How to invade? How do the souls of his dependents return if they die in the Otherworld? And how to recover spoils of war?

All these and a series of other questions needed to be considered.

But since the goal of Abyss Will was to create an endless Abyss, these should all be solvable.

He would go back and study them slowly.

His consciousness left the Abyss and returned to the Great World.

At this time, the outside world had already exploded; they had watched Ye Chen's black Divine Realm grow from a small fry to a behemoth.

This size clearly exceeded the limit of the "novice village."

The other Divine Lords now understood that this ruthless person had digested his gains and advanced to a demigod!

This made the Divine Lords secretly rejoice.

After advancing to a demigod, the novice village could no longer accommodate this "giant crocodile."

Unless they also advanced, they probably would not encounter him again in the future.

When Ye Chen's consciousness returned to the Great World, he clearly felt his vision broaden significantly.

Looking at the Divine Realms far away from him, they now appeared quite miniature.

With his current size, he could no longer fish.

It seemed he needed to switch to a larger fishing pond.

Thinking of this, Ye Chen sighed with emotion; he had only stayed in this novice village three times, and he could no longer return.

He glanced at the Mythril Vein, which had been almost completely mined by the Divine Lords.

Now, various races were competing for the final Mythril Vein mining rights, practically fighting each other to death.

Ye Chen's eyes lit up, and he quickly piloted his Divine Realm to rush over.

Now he was the overlord of this area; he should be the one to play the fisherman!

The Divine Lords engaged in a fierce battle had also been observing the outside situation to prevent others from taking advantage of the chaos.

Ye Chen's situation had long surpassed the Mythril Vein, becoming the biggest hot spot in this area.

These Divine Lords also knew that a ruthless person with a black Divine Realm had appeared nearby.

Now, seeing a behemoth approaching directly, these Divine Lords naturally knew that the ruthless person had arrived.

Terrified, they even abandoned their own dependents, directly disconnecting their Divine Realm channels and fleeing.

By the time Ye Chen's Divine Realm reached the vicinity of the Mythril Vein, the Divine Lords who had been fighting happily had already scattered like birds and beasts.

And on the Mythril Vein, there was a group of bewildered dependents watching their way home disappear.

Ye Chen shook his head with some regret, but he did not waste this treasure.

He dispatched his Snake People troops to take over the mining army and, by the way, supervise this large group of chaotic dependents mining the vein.

The Mythril Vein became lively again, but this time, no Divine Lord dared to come forward and get a share.

Just like that, Ye Chen calmly finished mining the vein, directly packing up the ore and the mining army together and taking them away.

And the Divine Lords, watching Ye Chen's black Divine Realm slowly disappear from its original spot, also breathed a sigh of relief.

Finally, this plague god was sent away.
