162: The Mighty Leviathan

After Leviathan launched its attack, the King ordered his soldiers to drive hundreds of their own sea monsters to follow it.

These sea monsters could be considered the secret weapons of the Merfolk Kingdom; deploying all of them showed just how much importance he placed on this invading army.

The Abyssal Army naturally did not know that the Merfolk Kingdom's ultimate weapon was rushing toward them, as they were currently dealing with a massive sea serpent.

Surrounding the sea serpent were dozens of bizarre, overlord-class sea monsters.

In just one round of attacks, the overlord that had been invincible in this sea area died under the siege of the Abyssal Army.

Soon, a giant sea serpent joined the Abyssal Army through a portal.

Just then, a large shadow appeared beneath the ocean.

"Hiss—!"

The small sea beast that first noticed the anomaly had just sounded the alarm when it was pulled into the darkness by a massive suction force.

Immediately after, a giant mouth that blotted out the sky appeared before the Abyssal Army.

Leviathan's upper jaw covered the entire sky, while its lower jaw covered the entire sea area.

A massive suction force suppressed all living things, and the seawater was sucked into a vortex by the immense power.

The Abyssal Army didn't even have time to scream before they, along with those dozens of overlord-class sea monsters, were swallowed into the pitch-black maw.

When the giant mouth suddenly closed, everything returned to calm; only the air force and some sea beasts scattered on the periphery escaped with their lives.

But before they could recover from their fear, they were enveloped by a massive domain.

This domain was not an ocean domain, but rather an endless starry sky.

Countless star powers made Leviathan appear dreamlike and illusory, while simultaneously completely suppressing the Abyssal Army.

Under the illumination of the star power, the Abyssal Army rapidly perished like snowmen under the scorching sun.

When Cain resurrected in the abyss, he was still a bit bewildered; could something like that really be raised in the Mermen World?

He hadn't even reacted at the time before he was directly swallowed by that behemoth, and his proud, powerful navy had been wiped out by that single blow.

Immediately afterward, his own air force, not a single one missing, had all returned to the abyss.

This was the first time the Abyssal Army had been completely wiped out in the Otherworld, and most importantly, the entire army hadn't even had the slightest ability to fight back.

Having suffered such a huge loss, he definitely had to get even, so Cain immediately reported the situation to Ye Chen.

After listening to his description, Ye Chen elevated the threat level of Leviathan another notch.

Logically, Leviathan shouldn't have achieved the God rank, but this terrifying combat power didn't seem like something a Tier 7 could produce.

Without a clue for the moment, Ye Chen did not delay and quickly recalled the group of Tier 7 powerhouses from the abyss.

He prepared to deal with Leviathan according to the highest standards.

Soon, all thirty-three Tier 7s returned to the abyss and, after listening to Ye Chen's instructions, prepared to head to the Mermen World.

More than half of them were Tier 7 demons, and the rest were basically fire-type magical beasts, putting them at a disadvantage when dealing with Leviathan.

He only hoped that this massive number would be enough to compensate for the disadvantage.

On the other side, after devouring the massive Abyssal Army, Leviathan let out a comfortable burp and prepared to return to continue its hibernation.

Just then, a space portal appeared in front of it.

Looking at the glowing portal before it, Leviathan did not recklessly enter; it still shouldered the heavy responsibility of protecting the Merfolk, so it could not easily step into another world.

Of course, given its massive size, it would be difficult for it to enter anyway.

Leviathan knew that these were evil invaders from the Otherworld trying to enter this world through the portal, so it opened its giant mouth and destroyed the portal with a "crunch."

On the other side, the Demon Dragon, which hadn't yet stepped into the portal, only saw the portal flicker and then extinguish directly.

Clearly, the portal had been destroyed by Leviathan on the other side.

This also served as a reminder to them; if they teleported directly next to Leviathan, they would likely be swallowed in one gulp.

So this time, they opened the portals further away from Leviathan.

Soon, thirty-three portals opened in the Otherworld.

This time, to prevent being wiped out in one go by Leviathan, each of them opened their own portal.

Leviathan was waiting quietly on the spot, ready to destroy the portals again when the enemies opened them.

But the enemies were extremely cunning; it had just destroyed one portal when it saw dozens of portals appear in the sky in the distance.

Immediately afterward, thirty-three figures emerged from different directions.

For these "little guys," Leviathan didn't care.

Having experienced countless years, it had long since forgotten how many of these little guys it had devoured.

After the Demon Dragon and the others arrived in the Otherworld, they didn't rush to attack; they didn't dare to gather together, but instead spread out to surround Leviathan completely.

Facing this behemoth, they showed sufficient caution.

Seeing that this group of little guys didn't attack, Leviathan didn't want to waste time with them, and a massive domain rapidly expanded from its body.

The endless starry sky instantly covered the entire sky and ocean, completely surrounding the Abyssal powerhouses.

The Demon Dragon wore a grave expression as it expanded its own End Land to resist the erosion of this endless starry sky.

It could feel that this Leviathan hadn't broken through to Tier 8, but it was still a notch above Tier 7.

At the very least, as a Tier 7 invincible, it wasn't confident in dealing with Leviathan.

Not to mention anything else, facing other Tier 7s, it could completely crush their domains relying on the End Land, but facing Leviathan, it could only manage to protect itself.

As for the other Tier 7s, it went without saying; except for Fire Kirin and the Pope, who could barely open their own domains, the other Tier 7s could only fall into the endless starry sky.

At this moment, the Pope's Paradise Mountain and that sun that forever radiated brilliance had completely changed their appearance.

Paradise Mountain was now pitch black, and the believers on it had been replaced by abyss cultists in black robes.

And those angels who radiated an aura of light had turned into pitch-black Fallen Angels.

Even more outrageous was that the original holy artifact—the Spear of Longinus—had now completely become a magic spear, radiating a profound aura of darkness.

The Pope was currently controlling this magic spear, aiming it at Leviathan's massive eyeball.

"Go!"

After a soft shout, the magic spear vanished from where it was, and the next second it appeared before Leviathan's eyeball.

With a muffled "thud," the spear tip sank directly into the eyeball, leaving a section of the shaft trembling endlessly, with dark Green bodily fluids dripping down the shaft.

"Awoo—!"

Leviathan let out a roar that shook heaven and earth, then shook its head wildly, throwing the magic spear out.

Although the tiny magic spear was nothing compared to Leviathan's massive eyeball, the corrosive aura contained within it caused Leviathan great pain.

The magic spear was thrown into the sea, wobbling as it flew back to the Pope's side.

This blow gave the Abyss group a shot in the arm; it seemed this behemoth wasn't invincible after all.

As long as it could be wounded, even if they had to wear it down with lives, they would wear it to death; anyway, they had infinite resurrection, so there was no need to worry about casualties—just go for it!
