186: Alchemist

When Kalter shattered the dog-headed people God Domain Core and took over the entire God Domain, the other teams also achieved results.

The Pope, relying on the magical artifact, the "Spear of Longinus," successfully shattered the dog-headed people God's God Domain Core, taking that city.

The seventh-tier peak Black Dragon Vice-Commander, relying on attacks that disregarded casualties, also shattered the Minotaur God's God Domain Core.

Only the remaining two teams failed to take down the God Domain, falling into a stalemate.

One team was in a stalemate because their opponent had a considerable number of seventh-tier demigod-level Chimeras, and the Abyssal Army's high-tier combat power was all tied up.

The Abyssal Army, under the high-tier Chimera's domain, could not advance to the God Domain Core, thus falling into a stalemate.

The main family of the God in the other team were Gargoyles, a race with extremely abnormal magic resistance, defense, vitality, and recovery capabilities.

During battle, they didn't need to consider defense at all, only needing to continuously attack.

The three Abyssal Armies that had freed up immediately targeted those two God Domains.

Upon the arrival of reinforcements, the situation immediately turned around, and these two God Domains were quickly and completely defeated.

Five God Domains sank into the Abyss, and the Abyss Will filled them into the lower layers of the Abyss based on the characteristics of each God Domain.

Some seventh-tier family members who sank directly into the Abyss with their God Domain harbored extreme hatred for the Abyss that destroyed their homeland, wanting to take the opportunity to destroy the Abyss.

As soon as they thought of acting, they were severely suppressed by a terrifying coercion.

In their terrified eyes, a gigantic creature obscured the entire world.

Under the "flogging" of Leviathan, they all repented and swore eternal allegiance to the Abyss.

All newly joined family members were pulled into the Primordial Sea for "brainwashing" before being allowed to return to their homes.

And in the Abyss, dozens of demigods of various forms appeared: Jackals, dog-headed peoples, Minotaurs, Gargoyles, Chimeras…

To prevent his resurrection ability from being exposed, Ye Chen did not send these new members to invade other God Domains, only instructing them to guard the Abyss.

As for the five invading teams, they each chose an opponent and once again rushed towards the remaining God Domains.

After destroying five God Domains, nine God Domains remained.

Meanwhile, Swift and Hummingbird had also destroyed two God Domains during this period and had already selected new targets for invasion.

The five teams each took one, directly rushing forward.

These Gods found their comrades' God Domains shattering one by one, and just as they tried to escape, they discovered that the connecting passages were firmly fixed in place and could not be severed.

The Gods used their divine sense to detect a large number of burrowing Worms and Little Devils hidden in the shadow space within their own domains.

By the time they cleared them one by one, the main Abyssal Army had already invaded.

These opportunistic Gods could only be forced to fight desperately.

After several teams invaded, they still destroyed the God Domain Core according to the original plan, but the team led by Fire Kirin encountered considerable trouble.

They had invaded the God Domain of the Colossus God Lord.

Clumsy and weak Colossus naturally posed no threat to them, but there was a powerful group of seventh-tier Alchemists in this God's God Domain.

Alchemists adhere to the principle of "equivalent exchange," using alchemy to reorganize the structure of matter, thereby achieving the transformation of material forms.

Unlike ordinary demigods, this group of seventh-tier Alchemists did not comprehend a single law but resonated with the World Law, thereby knowing the "True Name of the Origin" of matter.

They performed transmutations by invoking the World Law, possessing some miraculous effects similar to "words becoming reality."

Furthermore, they could also construct super alchemy arrays by leveraging the movement of stars and celestial energy, activating alchemy similar to a domain.

In short, this group of Alchemists was equivalent to "programmers" who mastered the "original source code" of the world; the more "source code" they knew, the more powerful they became.

However, this power was limited; arbitrarily invoking laws and changing rules would disturb the world's order, and stronger effects were more likely to attract the backlash of the World Will.

This was also one of the costs of "equivalent exchange."

Under the backlash of the World Will, their lifespans were much shorter than those of ordinary demigods.

The lifespans of some unrestrained Alchemists were even shorter than those of ordinary people.

This group of Alchemists was not the original family of this God Domain; rather, the Colossus God Lord discovered a world on the verge of "death" while exploring other worlds.

This world had just experienced a century-long war of Alchemists that affected the entire world, and the World Will and laws of the entire world were disrupted by this war, leading to a complete collapse.

The Colossus God Lord happened to come into contact with this world at the end of the war, thus fortunately acquiring a large number of low and mid-tier Alchemists and more than twenty seventh-tier Alchemists.

As for higher-tier Alchemists, they either died in that great war or had left this dying world early to step into the myriad worlds.

The divine power of the Colossus God Lord naturally could not make this group of Alchemists submit; they did not believe in gods.

However, the God was truly covetous of their power, so he made a deal with them.

In the future, any newly conquered worlds could be freely disposed of by them, and if suitable worlds were found, they could also rebuild their homes.

But they had to assist him in becoming stronger and breaking through to an Upper God.

Of course, the hidden motives in both their hearts were known only to themselves.

The Colossus God Lord thought that as long as he could break through to an Upper God, dealing with this group of Alchemists, whose highest level was only seventh-tier, would be a piece of cake.

And this group of Alchemists was also extremely confident in their own strength.

They believed that before this simple-minded "high-tier creature" became an Upper God, they would be able to achieve breakthroughs in strength earlier or possess means to restrain him.

After the two parties reached an agreement, this group of Alchemists officially moved into the God Domain of the Colossus God Lord.

A large amount of alchemical data, materials, and tools filled the entire God Domain, and all the Alchemists from the entire alchemical world also entered the God Domain.

As for the ordinary people on that world…

When all the Alchemists moved into the God Domain, to avoid waste, all Alchemists jointly activated a super alchemy array.

The array refined the entire world, along with all living beings on it, into a specialized divine artifact belonging to the Alchemists – the "Philosopher's Stone"!

This "Philosopher's Stone" could break the principle of equivalent exchange, using the vast amount of souls and life contained within it to violate the World Law, thereby resisting backlash.

This was undoubtedly a groundbreaking divine artifact; possessing it allowed for the free use of alchemy without cost.

Of course, such a thing definitely had an upper limit of use, but its upper limit was extremely high, and for this group of Alchemists, whose highest level was only seventh-tier, it was more than enough.
