138: Demigod

The Magic Dragon maintained a normal Green Dragon's flying speed and began to tour the entire Dragon Island.

The terrain and environment on Dragon Island are extremely special, where one can see volcanoes, snow mountains, swamps, deserts, and various other landforms.

Many landforms were forcibly altered by the giant dragons based on their own power.

During its travels, it would occasionally encounter some Five-Colored Dragons.

However, they seemed to dislike the original owner, this Green Dragon, and avoided the Magic Dragon's flight path from a distance.

Even some Green Dragons of the same clan were like this, not even bothering to greet it.

It seems the original owner's character wasn't very good.

The Magic Dragon, however, was pleased with this situation, as less interaction meant less chance of exposure.

But this also brought some difficulties in gathering information for it.

It wasn't in a hurry; Dragon Island was so vast, and there were so many giant dragons, so it was better to be cautious.

It still hadn't figured out what happened when that Ancient Red Dragon discovered it last time, so it didn't dare to attack casually again.

Killing wild beasts or Dragon Beasts was fine, but once it attacked fellow giant dragons, the nature of the act would change.

The crime of killing fellow clan members was very serious; if discovered, there was a high possibility of paying with one's life.

If the Magic Dragon died elsewhere, it wouldn't be afraid, but it feared that these old beings, who had lived for who knows how long, were proficient in soul magic. If they destroyed both body and soul, then it would truly be gone forever.

So, while wandering, it pondered how to open a breach and assassinate some giant dragons while ensuring its own safety.

Thus, it wandered all the way to the central area of Dragon Island.

The density of giant dragons here was much higher than in the outer regions; one could occasionally see young dragons playing.

The closer it got to the central area, the more the keen Magic Dragon could feel the pressure within.

Among these pressures, three were the most powerful.

One of them was indeed the aura of that Ancient Red Dragon, while of the other two, one was like biting cold ice, and the other emitted the light aura that the Magic Dragon disliked the most.

Besides these, there were several weaker auras, but they were not ones the Magic Dragon could provoke.

This gave it some conjectures.

The three most powerful ones were probably Ninth-tier Ancient Dragons, and the slightly weaker ones were probably Eighth-tier Ancient Dragons.

Aside from them, the rest were not worth worrying about.

To prevent them from discovering anything unusual, the Magic Dragon bypassed these powerhouses from a distance and continued to wander to other places.

It's better to start from the periphery first; in front of these old beings, it's hard for me to make a move.

While the Magic Dragon was wandering, it was discovered by a patrolling giant dragon, and a white figure suddenly blocked its path.

This was a White Dragon, considered the lowest-tier dragon species among the Five-Colored Dragons.

However, facing this powerful Green Dragon, the White Dragon showed no fear.

Its ice-blue vertical pupils were filled with vigilance, occasionally flashing with cold light:

"Thulrt, why aren't you staying on the west coast and running to the Holy Land?"

Only then did the Magic Dragon know the original owner's name, but it was at a loss regarding the White Dragon in front of it.

It could only vaguely say: "I'm just strolling around... just strolling around."

The White Dragon clearly didn't believe this Green Dragon, known for its bad deeds, would have such an elegant leisure to stroll around, and it warned:

"This is not just any other place; you are not allowed to be presumptuous here. If you're restless, go catch a few Dragon Beasts to vent your desires, but you must never attack fellow clan members!"

Only then did the Magic Dragon realize why it was disliked; it turned out to have a criminal record!

Although it was also a giant dragon, it was not the kind of beast dominated by its lower body, so it naturally wouldn't attack Dragon Beasts.

"No, I really am just strolling around. Don't worry, I'll go back now."

With that, the Magic Dragon flapped its wings and flew towards the west coast.

The White Dragon, however, clearly didn't trust the Magic Dragon and followed it all the way to the west coast.

Only when the Magic Dragon entered its cave did it return with peace of mind.

The Magic Dragon returned to its own cave, looked at the already cleaned cave, and nodded in satisfaction.

Immediately after, it walked to the deepest part of the cave, spread its wings, and flapped them rapidly.

The howling wind blew away the stench inside the cave. It found a dry spot and slowly lay down, entering a deep slumber.

...

Ever since sending the Magic Dragon to the Dragon Island World, Ye Chen had focused on the Elemental World.

The high-tier Magic Beasts there were dealt with by the Fire Kirin, while the remaining small fry continued to be swept away by the Magic Beast army.

As days passed, more and more souls were sent back from the Elemental World.

And the Fire Kirin lived up to expectations, successfully subduing two Seventh-tier Magic Beasts, greatly increasing the Abyss's strength.

These two Seventh-tier Magic Beasts were a Fire Spirit and a Flame Hound, both now assisting in hunting in the Elemental World.

This day, the Archbishop, who had been steadily advancing, sent a message that the invasion of Sachi World had encountered resistance.

The rampant expansion of the Abyss Church finally attracted the intervention of a Demigod-level powerhouse, and the Archbishop and his group of high-ranking church officials were all forcefully killed.

Even after their resurrection, he did not give up, killing them multiple times in succession.

Facing this shameless Demigod's personal assassination, the Archbishop was helpless and could only seek help from the Lord of the Abyss.

If this Demigod could not be dealt with, it would be difficult for the Abyss Church to advance further.

After listening to the Archbishop's report, Ye Chen inquired about the strength of the Demigod powerhouse in Sachi World.

Upon learning that he was a notch stronger than Gavin, Ye Chen had a clear idea; it seemed the gap with the original estimate was not large, and the Demigod powerhouse there was only Seventh-tier in strength.

If it had been a few days ago, Ye Chen might have been helpless, but now...

We have four Seventh-tiers!

After a moment of thought, Ye Chen decided to recall the Fire Kirin first to deal with this Demigod.

As for the Fire Spirit and Flame Hound, they would take over its duties and continue to kill the remaining Seventh-tier Magic Beasts in the Elemental World.

Upon receiving Ye Chen's message, the Fire Kirin soon appeared in the Abyss.

Ye Chen had the Archbishop introduce the general situation of Sachi World to the Fire Kirin, hoping it would go to the Abyss Church to take charge.

Ye Chen instructed the Fire Kirin to obey the Archbishop's command.

The Fire Kirin didn't mind; it was born in the Fire Beast Domain and had always lived a life where the strong preyed on the weak, so it didn't understand the intricacies of the human world.

Having someone to command it was also good; it could kill whoever it was told to, saving itself the trouble of thinking.

Soon, the portal to Sachi World opened in the Abyss.

The Archbishop and a group of high-ranking sect officials stepped into it with the Fire Kirin.

...

Dier Kingdom capital, Abyss Cathedral.

At this time, the cathedral was in ruins, with many corpses lying scattered, and the Archbishop's corpse was prominently among them.

The soft light of the portal illuminated the dim cathedral, and the Archbishop and his group emerged from it.

The Fire Kirin used its Size As Desired talent, becoming as large as a lion, and followed behind the Archbishop.

At this moment, it had no aura whatsoever; to ordinary people, it was even less imposing than a Magic Griffon.

The moment they appeared, on the high roof of the cathedral, a man holding a long spear was resting with his eyes closed.

When he sensed the auras of the few people, he slowly opened his eyes and murmured:

"These damned bugs are truly persistent; it seems I haven't killed them harshly enough!"
