Chapter 55 Live Telephone Broadcast: Master Chen Unclogging the Sewers

The Q7 pulled out of Building 12 of Qiongjing Garden, gliding along the residential main road toward the exit.

Tu Yuandong caught a glimpse of a black bmw x5 parked in an open-air parking space at an angle.

Another X5.

He subconsciously eased off the accelerator, then shook his head in self-mockery. Bin City was full of X5s; it wasn't just Chen Ang who drove one.

He had been so severely provoked by Yu Fei and Chen Ang these past few days that his nerves tightened whenever he saw a Bmw.

He pressed the accelerator and turned onto the main road, thinking about how the Company could finally breathe a sigh of relief.

However, he still didn't feel at ease regarding the Company.

They had been auditing the accounts, specifically the capital flow of downstream suppliers.

It was clear that Chen Ang was coming for him.

He knew exactly what Chen Ang was trying to do.

The contract with the Road and Bridge Bureau was signed, but what if Chen Ang was willing to risk the penalty fees just to cut off his supply of raw materials?

Although there were still two years left on the contract, in the business world, contracts were paper, not iron chains.

If they really wanted to cut off the supply, a two-year window was enough for the other party to find a hundred reasons to obstruct him.

Moreover, he and Chen Ang had an irreconcilable blood feud.

Therefore, he couldn't just wait to die.

He went through several raw material suppliers in and around Bin City, finally settling on the Company's arch-rival, Dingxin Building Materials.

Afterward, he scrolled through his contacts, found Nickname's number, and dialed it.

The call connected, and a rough voice came through the car speakers: "President Tu, the man surnamed Chen left the Financial Center at noon and went to the old suburbs."

"Where?" Tu Yuandong frowned; wasn't he in the old suburbs right now?

"The old city suburbs. My brother sent the location; it's somewhere near Qiongjing Garden. He's been there since noon, and his car is parked across from the residential complex."

"Qiongjing Garden?" Tu Yuandong's Adam's apple bobbed violently, and his brow twitched wildly.

The Q7 swerved to the left instantly, turning on the signal.

He knew that Yu Fei always had a habit of taking a nap, and he recalled Yu Fei's lack of response, as well as the X5 on the side of the road.

Damn it, Chen Ang and Yu Fei were taking a nap together.

Tu Yuandong felt his dignity being trampled and ground into the dirt by Chen Ang once again.

He gripped the steering wheel until it creaked, clenched his back teeth, turned the car around, and dialed Yu Fei's number.

The first sound that came through the receiver wasn't speech, but panting—that kind of deliberately suppressed, pleasurable humming leaking from deep within the nasal cavity and throat.

"Yu Fei, where are you?"

Tu Yuandong could hear the suppressed rage in his own voice.

There was no response, only the confused sound of soft murmurs and humming.

"Where the hell are you?" His voice squeezed out from his throat, nearly a low roar.

After several seconds, Yu Fei finally responded, her voice intermittent, every word laced with an unnatural tremor: "At home... ah."

"What are you doing?" He had already reached a conclusion in his heart, but he still gritted his teeth and asked.

"Noth... ah... Master Chen..." Yu Fei's voice became intermittent and disjointed, every word sounding like it was squeezed from her throat, "The drain... ah... is clogged... mm... clearing it."

After she finished the last word, she suddenly let out a soft hum with an upward inflection; the tone wasn't one of pain or discomfort, but something overflowing from her mouth that she couldn't suppress.

It was as if someone was pinning her down, and she had to use great effort to maintain the volume while answering the phone.

Chen Ang, f*ck your mother...

Tu Yuandong slammed the steering wheel, his right hand pressing on the horn without stopping, his foot stomping hard on the accelerator.

The Q7 accelerated crazily, the engine roaring like an explosion.

At this moment, the veins on the back of his hands bulged one by one, gradually spreading upward, even the ones on his neck swelling out.

The sounds coming from the other end vibrated against his eardrums, pounding against his sensitive and fragile dignity.

"Yu Fei, tell him to get the f*ck down here." He spat the words out one by one, the extreme rage sending blood rushing to his head, turning his entire face crimson in seconds.

"Mm-hm..." Yu Fei panted continuously, "Him get off? You come... you... ah... no..."

Her breathing suddenly grew rapid again, turning from intermittent muffled moans into continuous, completely unmasked screams, rising from low to high, then shattering into a tremolo at the peak.

That string of moans exploded in the car through the audio system, echoing around his brain as if they were tangible.

In an instant, Tu Yuandong felt the world spinning, nearly losing his sight and hearing.

A massive sense of humiliation struck his skull.

Fortunately, the red light at the intersection turned on; he slammed on the brakes, and the Q7 stopped abruptly in front of the crosswalk, finally giving him a moment to catch his breath.

He breathed heavily, inhaling oxygen to dilute the chaos in his brain. Afterward, he clenched his right hand into a fist and slammed it against the steering wheel, and the horn let out another blare.

The green light turned on, and he launched the car, rushing through the intersection.

The call hadn't ended yet; a heavy breath came through, followed by that kind of exhausted, long exhale, and finally, the mattress creaked softly, and then it went quiet.

However, this silence was like a needle, piercing into his eardrum and traveling along his blood vessels all the way to his heart.

Tu Yuandong felt that all the humiliation in his life couldn't compare to this few-minute phone call.

The Q7 screeched to a halt under Building 12, and he rushed straight up to the second floor.

The bedroom door was ajar, and as Tu Yuandong rushed in, he saw Yu Fei leaning against the headboard.

She was wearing a beige silk nightgown; there were two red marks on her neck that hadn't faded yet, her flushed face hadn't cooled down, and even the corners of her eyes were tinged with a moist pink.

There was no panic or shame in her expression, only a lazy sense of satisfaction.

Tu Yuandong stared at all of this, moving his lips, but his throat was so tight that he couldn't say a word.

"Ex-husband, is something the matter?" Yu Fei pulled the collar of her nightgown together, but the gap only widened, revealing a small patch of fair skin below her collarbone. "Shouldn't you be busy with the signing the day after tomorrow?"

Tu Yuandong stood in the doorway, swallowed three times, and finally squeezed out a sound: "Are you really that cheap?"

Yu Fei smiled, a light and shallow smile, as if she were watching a stranger throw a tantrum.

"Mr. Tu, I think you have a concept wrong. Sleeping with someone else's wife during marriage is called cheating, and that's what's cheap. After divorce, it's called free love."

"Love? Does he have feelings for you? Do you know he's just using you to get back at me?"

"Him getting back at you, what does that have to do with me? We have things to talk about, we have things to do in bed—if that's not called feelings, what is? Does it have to be like you, sneaking women home to sleep with, and then getting caught in bed?" She glanced at him slowly.

"Yu Fei..."

"Don't yell at me here. You're just an ex-husband, a stranger, nothing more." She reached out and grabbed the phone from another pillow, "If you don't leave, I'm calling the police."

The intracranial blood pressure in Tu Yuandong's head subsided, and he instantly realized that at this moment, he was nothing.

His dignity was trampled into the mud at this moment.

"Fine, you're good. I hope you don't regret this."

Leaving behind a harsh threat, he turned and left, though every step of his departure felt heavy.

The Q7 drove out of the residential complex.

The car was very quiet; he turned off the air conditioning, rolled down the window, and cold wind poured in, quickly drying the sweat on his forehead.

After driving for about two kilometers, he pulled the car over, lit a cigarette, then picked up his phone, flipped to a number, and dialed it.

"Hello, President Qian, I have some news about the Company here that you might be interested in. Do you have time to sit down and have some tea?"

Hanging up the phone, the image of Chen Ang appeared in Tu Yuandong's mind, and then, a ruthless glint flashed and vanished from his eyes.
