102: Enmity with the honey badger

After the interrogation was completed, Wang Chao reported the results to Qin Yang.

"Boss, how should we handle these people?" Wang Chao then asked.

Qin Yang thought for a moment and replied, "Keep them locked up for now. Just make sure they don't starve to death. We'll wait until the ones truly in charge come knocking. Our current goal is to unify An Country, so let's not cause unnecessary trouble."

"Understood, Boss."

Regarding these intelligence agents, what Qin Yang told Wang Chao were his true thoughts. Of course, it was also because their own strength was too weak. The current Satans Armed Forces at most had some reputation in Africa. If they really went up against USA or John Bull, they really wouldn't be enough. It wasn't that Qin Yang was belittling himself; that was just the reality. Without an air force or navy, relying solely on the army would make them sitting ducks.

Qin Yang didn't want to break this excellent situation with a momentary impulse. Of course, if these countries really didn't want to be reasonable, Qin Yang wasn't without countermeasures. He couldn't achieve 'Perishing Together' yet, but that didn't mean he was a pushover.

Sure enough, within two days, the main party arrived.

The first to arrive was the diplomat from USA.

Nowadays, due to various reasons, USA's situation was deteriorating day by day. Of course, a lean camel is still bigger than a horse; when their diplomat came knocking, he was still quite arrogant.

The one who received him was a black Third-level Death Soldier under Qin Yang named Waldo, who was currently in charge of security in Luoda City.

After the two met, the USA diplomat spoke directly, "Hello, sir. I am Henry, the diplomat of USA stationed in South Africa. I presume you are aware of the purpose of my visit. Just two days ago, over a dozen citizens of our USA living in Luoda City were arrested by you for no reason. Our side believes that your actions are a provocation against USA, and we express our strong protest and condemnation."

"We hope your side can face this incident squarely and release them immediately and unconditionally."

Waldo laughed directly upon hearing the other party's words.

He replied, "Mr. Henry, are you sure they are all so-called citizens of USA? You can have the people, but this attitude won't do."

"What do you mean?" Henry replied somewhat angrily after being rebuffed.

Slap!

Immediately after, Waldo picked up a stack of documents from a table behind him and slammed them down in front of Henry.

"Look at this. Yes, your USA is very powerful, but don't take others for fools," Waldo said as he threw down the documents.

Henry then picked up the documents on the table and flipped through them briefly. Seeing the detailed confessions inside, Henry's expression became very ugly.

In his heart, he cursed those agents for what they were—spilling their identities in just two days. They were truly a bunch of useless trash.

Closing the documents, Henry calmed his emotions and replied, "Sir, there is a saying in the Great Eastern Country: 'If you want to condemn someone, you can always find a pretext.' Our citizens are currently in your hands, so naturally, you can pin any charges on them you like. Our side does not recognize these documents."

"Heh, fine. If you don't recognize it, you don't recognize it. It seems you don't want to resolve this matter either. In that case, there's no need for us to talk. Mr. Henry, you may leave," Waldo replied with a light laugh.

"No, no, no. Fine, regardless of whether these documents are real or not, I must take the people with me. Come on, sir, please state your conditions." Seeing Waldo suddenly washing his hands of the matter, Henry could only suppress the resentment in his heart and reply humbly. Every talented agent was not easy to train. If so many agents were lost in Africa, Henry, as the negotiator, would bear unshakable responsibility.

"Heh, wouldn't it have been better to say that earlier? We can actually let you take the people, but if we just let you take them like this, where would the face of our Satans Armed Forces go? How about this: just give us a ransom of ten million US dollars per person," Waldo replied with a half-smile.

"Oh, that's impossible. Ten million US dollars is too expensive!" Henry hurriedly shook his head in denial upon hearing this.

Although he denied it, he said it was expensive rather than refusing to pay the ransom, so the matter could still be negotiated.

Ten minutes later, Henry walked out of the meeting room somewhat dejectedly. Soon, a squad of soldiers escorted a dozen ordinary-looking white men to the entrance of the meeting room. Seeing that although these white men had injuries, they hadn't lost any limbs, Henry felt much better. After checking the number of people, he gave a few instructions to a subordinate. The subordinate took out a phone and dialed a number. A few more minutes passed.

The subordinate nodded to Henry.

Henry said to Waldo, "The money has arrived. You can check."

Waldo waved his hand dismissively and said, "I've already received the notification immediately. Alright, Mr. Henry, you can leave with your 'citizens'. By the way, An Country has been very chaotic lately. Please don't let these 'citizens' wander around at will again!"

These words made Henry's face change color again in anger.

After Henry left with the people, Waldo reported to Qin Yang. Hearing that the other party had paid a ransom of four million US dollars per person, Qin Yang felt quite satisfied. So what if it was the Americans? They were still extorted by him. Damn it, if it weren't for the bigger picture, what Henry would have taken away today would have been corpses.

Tens of millions of US dollars wasn't much for the current Qin Yang. He simply wanted to annoy the other party and warn them that his place wasn't somewhere they could just come and go as they pleased.

After the diplomat from USA left, diplomats from several other countries followed. Most of them admitted defeat in the face of the solid confession materials and paid the ransom readily before taking their people away. However, there were also stubborn ones, such as the diplomat from Israel.

As soon as he entered, he was full of arrogance, bossing Waldo around and warning him to release the people. He also showed a face of disdain toward the confession materials, clamoring that if the people weren't released, Israel would inevitably take corresponding retaliatory measures.

It wasn't surprising that the diplomat from Israel was so overbearing. The princes in the Middle East were truly too useless. Over the years, Israel had launched many wars in the Middle East, and without exception, they had all won. Those Middle Eastern princes were rich, but their combat effectiveness, truthfully, might not even match some African countries.

Continuous victories had made Israel arrogant. Even now, Israel was still using force to expand its territory, crazily invading its neighbor, Bale Country, using methods similar to the little devils of the last century. Although Qin Yang wasn't exactly a good person, he couldn't stand Israel's actions.

After Waldo reported the Israel diplomat's behavior to Qin Yang, Qin Yang sneered, "He really thinks everyone in the world is his father and will indulge him. Give him the people, but they don't need to be alive. If he wants to retaliate, I welcome it anytime!"

Facing USA, Qin Yang's current strength might be insufficient, but a tiny Israel dared to clamor at him? Not convinced? Then let's clash! It just so happens that after the unification of An Country, he can show off his methods to the world. The Great Man was right: 'Strike one blow to avoid a hundred blows.' Otherwise, they'll all think Qin Yang's subordinates are softies!
