174: Follow the rules
Zhao Hongyu felt a slight sigh of relief when she heard Qin Yang agree; the balance in this man's card was simply too overwhelming.
Zhao Hongyu then tossed her chips onto the table, and Qin Yang flipped over his hole cards.
"Wow! Another set of three of a kind. Is everyone's luck this good today?" another middle-aged noblewoman chimed in.
Qin Yang ignored her and kept his eyes fixed on the cards in Zhao Hongyu's hand.
Zhao Hongyu also instantly flipped her cards and laid them out on the table.
"Whoa, whoa, whoa! Three Queens! This is so strange, another clashing hand!" the other middle-aged noblewoman cried out.
"Haha, sorry, Brother-in-law, mine is bigger. Thanks for the 'poverty relief'!" Zhao Hongyu laughed.
She then moved to stand up and take the chips on the table.
"Wait!" Qin Yang suddenly spoke at that moment.
Immediately after, Qin Yang stood up with a sneer, grabbing one of Zhao Hongyu's hands with lightning speed and applying a bit of pressure.
Zhao Hongyu cried out in pain, and several cards fell from her hand onto the table.
"Heh, cheating against us? I have to say, you've got some nerve!" Qin Yang sneered.
"You!" Zhao Hongyu was terrified now that she had been exposed, but she didn't know what to say.
"Now you know why you were losing, right?" Qin Yang said to Deng Yue.
Deng Yue looked dazed; she had always thought she just had bad luck, never imagining the others were cheats!
Seeing Deng Yue's stunned expression, Qin Yang sighed inwardly. This was the consequence of wealth not matching one's temperament; she would be treated like a fat sheep for slaughter wherever she went.
Then Qin Yang called out to the door, "Come in."
Subsequently, Wang Chao walked in with several Death Warriors.
"Wang Chao, take your sister-in-law back first," Qin Yang ordered.
"Yes, Boss."
Under Wang Chao's direction, a female Death Warrior supported Deng Yue as they walked out of the Beauty Salon.
Once only Sun Mei and the others remained, Qin Yang sat down on the sofa in a domineering manner, lit a cigarette, and said, "Impressive. You even dared to set up a scheme against me and my family."
Sun Mei realized things were going south and quickly tried to deflect blame. "Brother-in-law, I didn't know they were cheats! This really has nothing to do with me. Yueyue and I are classmates, how could I set her up like this?"
"Heh!" Qin Yang looked at her and smiled before continuing, "You've made quite a bit these past few days, haven't you? Yesterday, four hundred thousand was deposited into your personal account. Do you really think I'm an idiot?"
Hearing this, Sun Mei froze, unable to believe that this man had actually investigated her bank account.
Seeing that Sun Mei had gone quiet,
Qin Yang stared at the three of them and said, "Tell me, how should we resolve this? I recall that when cheats are caught, they're supposed to have their hands and feet broken!"
Zhao Hongyu's heart sank. She forced a smile and said, "There's no need for that, no need. Brother, since you caught us, we'll just refund the money. Besides, since we dare to do this business, we have people backing us. The people behind us aren't to be trifled with."
"Haha, 'not to be trifled with'? Come on, tell me about it. How about this: call over all your 'big cats' and 'little cats' from behind the scenes, and I'll see if I can afford to offend them. Fine, it's decided. Don't say I didn't give you a chance!" Qin Yang laughed loudly.
Seeing Qin Yang's stance, Zhao Hongyu knew there would be no peaceful resolution today. Steeling herself, she pulled out her phone and began making calls.
Naturally, such a big incident at the Beauty Salon alerted the owner. Soon, a middle-aged beautiful woman arrived in the private room with several people.
"Guests, has something happened here?" the woman asked with a smile.
"You don't recognize them?" Qin Yang asked, gesturing toward Sun Mei and the others.
"I do. These ladies are regular customers of our shop. Sir, our establishment does not serve male guests. Since you forced your way in just now, I could call the police. Please leave," the middle-aged woman replied with a frown.
"Call the police? Heh, trying to scare me? Go ahead. Organized gambling—this dump of yours is practically a casino. You know the filthy business you're running better than I do," Qin Yang sneered.
Hearing this, the woman's face darkened. A burly man behind her said, "Sister Lan, why waste words on them? I'll kick them out right now."
As the man spoke, he moved to strike, but in the next second, an iron fist slammed into his abdomen. The man doubled over in pain, then collapsed to the floor, twitching. The one who struck was Wang Chao.
"Flaunting such pathetic strength in front of me," Qin Yang said dismissively.
Immediately after, the lackeys behind the salon owner, Sister Lan, were also subdued by Qin Yang's Death Warriors. None of them could fight; they couldn't even withstand a single blow before ending up on the floor.
At this moment, the women in the room were all pale with fright, knowing that things had escalated significantly today.
Qin Yang repeated his demand for the women to call whoever they needed to, to bring out their backers. After all, these women were just small fries, not the ones in charge.
Meanwhile, Qin Yang summoned another squad of Death Warriors. It wasn't that Wang Chao and his men couldn't handle it, but having more people provided a greater sense of power. Qin Yang now quite enjoyed the feeling of overwhelming others with sheer force. If you have strength, you should show it; otherwise, every random nobody would try to show off.
Qin Yang drank a few cups of tea. Wang Chao walked in and said, "Boss, many cars have arrived outside. It should be the backers of these women."
"Mm. Let the leader in and keep the rest outside," Qin Yang replied after taking a sip of tea.
"Understood," Wang Chao replied and stepped out.
In front of the Beauty Salon, an old man in a martial arts uniform got out of a car and attempted to enter, surrounded by a crowd. However, just as he reached the entrance, the sound of chaotic footsteps echoed from the street. A large group of men in security uniforms, carrying riot shields and batons, quickly arrived and densely surrounded the group and their vehicles.
The old man and his subordinates were stunned by the sight. They thought they had brought enough people, but they hadn't expected to encounter such a force. The number of people on the opposing side was likely no less than three or four hundred.
Wang Chao came downstairs at this time. Seeing the scene, he was very satisfied and said coldly, "Let the one in charge go up. The rest of you, squat down where you are."
A subordinate beside the old man was about to speak but was interrupted by him. The situation was against them; it seemed they had truly kicked a titanium plate today.
"Fine, I'll go up with you," the old man replied.
Wang Chao glanced at the group and gave the other Death Warriors a look. They understood instantly and began shouting for the old man's men to squat. At first, some were defiant, but after three strikes with batons, everyone chose to be sensible.
