95: Ridiculous Revenge
Fernando smiled upon hearing this and said, "I have my own ways of resolving the weapon issue. Moreover, during this period, I have secretly contacted some people outside. Those people are also very interested in our national salvation organization. Once they join, the strength of our Workers and Peasants Party will expand by more than just a notch."
Upon hearing Fernando's words, everyone immediately became interested: "Chairman, who are you referring to?"
"I am very sorry, but I cannot tell you yet. Once the matter of them joining us is settled, I will inform you of everything," Fernando replied.
Outside Dora City, two elite mercenary teams had been observing Dora City from a high vantage point for two days.
Jackal put down his binoculars and shook his head at a burly white man beside him.
"Jackal, I don't know what you are afraid of, but we have already wasted a day with you. Staying here like this is not a solution. Besides, with our methods, heading to the outpost ahead to grab a tongue should not be too difficult, right?" the burly white man replied, somewhat confused.
"Wild Wolf, you don't understand. Dora City is a den of demons in my eyes right now. I can feel that it is extremely dangerous in there. Furthermore, you saw how Mike died. He was killed in a single blow despite being on guard. For a battle-hardened soldier, you surely understand what that means, don't you?" Jackal replied.
"Fuck, when did you become such a coward? Fine, if you won't go, I will. It's just a small, unidentified armed force, yet it has scared you like this. Heh!"
"It's settled then. Tonight, our Wild Wolf Mercenary Group will move out to capture a few tongues to see what the situation in Dora City is really like. Mike's sniper rifle was taken away, so the person who killed Mike should be holding that sniper rifle. It should be highly recognizable. As long as our Wild Wolf Mercenary Group kills the target, the mission is considered complete, right?" Wild Wolf replied.
"Wild Wolf, this isn't child's play. We should cooperate..."
"Alright, alright. I want to finish the mission as soon as possible and go on vacation in Las Vegas. However, I should thank you for your sponsorship this time, Jackal." Wild Wolf interrupted Jackal's persuasion and replied impatiently.
Seeing this, Jackal knew there was no point in saying more and shook his head helplessly. The other party was just foreign aid he had paid for, but he could not influence their actions.
Night fell. At an outpost on the outskirts of the east side of Dora City, a patrol squad consisting of one First-level Death Warrior and five surrendered Black Brothers was stationed. The main reason for its establishment was to seal off the city and prevent internal information from Dora City from leaking. However, since the Satans Armed Forces had now fully re-equipped and their weapons had been replenished, the strictness of the blockade had dropped by several levels.
At this moment, the First-level Death Warrior was smoking with a few surrendered Black Brothers out of boredom, only occasionally observing the surroundings.
Just about two hundred meters away from the outpost, the Wild Wolf Mercenary Group had fully entered a state of combat readiness. With a wave of Wild Wolf's hand...
Wild Wolf and his team members began to move toward the outpost with light steps.
Inside the outpost, after smoking a cigarette, the First-level Death Warrior assigned two Black Brothers to continue keeping watch while he began to close his eyes and rest.
However, not long after he closed his eyes, he suddenly opened them again. Immediately after, the First-level Death Warrior made a "shh" gesture to the few Black Brothers under his command, then raised the AK in his hand and aimed the sight at a position in the dark night.
At first, the Black Brothers didn't quite understand what their superior meant, until a few hazy figures gradually appeared in the dark night. Only then did they suddenly realize, and immediately raised their muzzles to aim at that position.
The operation by Wild Wolf and his party to sneak near the outpost went very smoothly.
Seeing this, Wild Wolf muttered into his walkie-talkie: "Jackal is truly old. To be so afraid of dealing with a bunch of ragtag armed forces... If I had known the operation would be this smooth, I wouldn't have dragged you all to waste so much time with him."
"By the way, we need to capture live prisoners tonight. Everyone, try to focus on subduing them. Unless absolutely necessary, do not fire."
"Understood, Boss. But Boss, you should be careful too. A job like capturing tongues can be left to me alone next time; there's no need to make such a big fuss," one team member replied.
Wild Wolf pursed his lips and didn't reply.
Just as they were grumbling to each other, the team had advanced to a position fifty meters away from the outpost. Just as Wild Wolf was about to tell his team members to speed up, suddenly, the sound of rapid gunfire like popping beans rang in his ears.
Following that, a team member not far behind Wild Wolf fell to the ground in response, without any chance to dodge, mainly because the bullets were too dense.
"Danny! Fuck! We've been discovered. Get down, find cover, return fire, and retreat the way we came!" Wild Wolf roared.
Although he gave the correct order, he underestimated the reaction ability of the Death Warriors. Inside the city, after Bodo heard that someone trying to enter Dora City under the cover of night had been discovered, his expression did not change. He directly called the air service department of the Satans Armed Forces. One minute later, a buck attack helicopter quickly took off and flew rapidly toward the eastern outpost.
Coincidentally, just as Wild Wolf's side was being pinned down and couldn't lift their heads, the buck attack helicopter had arrived at the battlefield where both sides were exchanging fire.
"Fuck!" This was the second time Wild Wolf had cursed. He now had only one thought in his heart: the other side didn't play by the rules of martial arts. Damn it, it was just a brief exchange of fire; did they have to mobilize an attack helicopter?
But it was too late to say anything now. After the buck arrived above Wild Wolf and his men, the Death Warrior pilot very decisively pressed the fire button. In just an instant, trails of fire erupted from the 12.7 mm muzzle at the nose of the buck.
Wild Wolf's team members had originally hidden nearby, and their face-to-face field of vision was decent, but with the buck attack helicopter looking down from above, they had absolutely no advantage at all.
Coupled with the violent output of the 12.7 mm bullets, several team members were instantly blown into chunks of flesh!
Then, the Death Warrior pilot on the buck turned on the loudspeaker and shouted coldly: "If you don't want to die, drop your weapons and walk out with your hands on your heads."
For a long while, there was no movement at the scene. The buck fired another stream of fire, and after another Wild Wolf team member was finished off, Wild Wolf and the remaining team members couldn't bear the feeling of having a knife held to their throats, so they had to obediently walk out from behind their cover according to the instructions.
Soon, several well-equipped Satans Armed Forces squads appeared on the battlefield and quickly controlled Wild Wolf and the others.
A leading First-level Death Warrior kicked and broke Wild Wolf's thigh, then asked grimly: "Do you have any accomplices! Where are they? Speak quickly!"
Wild Wolf hadn't expected the other side to act so decisively. The white bone shards on his leg reminded him that if he dared not to speak, he would likely be tortured to death here.
Wild Wolf immediately gritted his teeth and said: "Yes, there are! On that hill!"
