51: Operation begins

As night fell, outside the Qins Machinery Manufacturing Plant, Koizumi Junzaburo was smoking at a corner of the factory, his eyes occasionally glancing at the street to the right.

Before long, two SUVs appeared in Koizumi Junzaburo's field of vision.

Koizumi Junzaburo hurriedly threw away the cigarette butt in his hand and walked forward to meet them.

The people in the car saw him as well, and the vehicle subsequently pulled up and stopped in front of Koizumi Junzaburo.

Then, six short but fierce-looking men got out of the car; they were the group led by Ozawa, whom Tanaka Rie had recruited.

After getting out of the car, Ozawa sized Koizumi Junzaburo up and asked, "Are you Mr. Koizumi?"

"I am. Are you Captain Ozawa?" Koizumi nodded and asked in return.

"Yes. Have you tracked the target's movements? We don't want to come here for nothing," Ozawa also nodded and got straight to the point.

"I have. I've been working at the plant's Mechanical Maintenance Department for nearly a week now, and I see the target every day. From my observations, the target doesn't seem to be married and both eats and lives in the plant. His daily routine is very regular; he starts and finishes work on time and is rarely seen leaving the plant. This is why I asked you all to come over," Koizumi Junzaburo said truthfully.

"Thank you, Mr. Koizumi. Next, you just need to take us in and point out the other party's residence to us; we'll handle the rest," Ozawa replied.

"Pointing out the residence is fine, but taking you in might be a problem. The plant's gate security is very strict; one must wear a work badge to enter or exit, and no one is allowed in without one. Furthermore, there are six security guards at the gate. I've tried to interact with them, but they are completely incorruptible and do everything according to the rules and regulations, so..."

"Captain, it's just a gate post. Do you want me to take care of it?" Seeing Koizumi's difficulty, one of Ozawa's subordinates spoke up.

Ozawa thought for a moment, then looked at the plant's perimeter wall, which was only about three meters high, and shook his head. "The other party has a lot of people, and the mission is the priority, so let's not create unnecessary trouble. How about this, Mr. Koizumi: you go in first and then wait for us at this position. We'll climb over from here."

Ozawa then pointed to a relatively hidden spot on the perimeter wall.

"Alright, I'll go in now and wait for you. I'll also check if there are any security patrols for you; if there are, I'll use a cough to warn you. If not, I'll knock on the wall," Koizumi replied.

"Thank you for your cooperation, Mr. Koizumi." Ozawa thanked Koizumi Junzaburo for being so sensible.

A few minutes later, from outside the wall, Ozawa and his men heard a few knocks. Ozawa waved his hand, and he and his subordinates, like agile monkeys, scaled and successfully flipped over the wall with a few leaps.

As soon as they landed, they saw Koizumi, who was keeping a lookout.

Seeing them, Koizumi lowered his voice and said, "Follow me."

Then Koizumi walked quickly toward a small two-story building less than fifty meters away.

Soon, they arrived in front of the building.

"This is the target Wang Liguo's residence, room 204. Some of the plant's core employees also live inside. The rest is up to you," Koizumi pointed to the second floor and said in a low voice.

Ozawa looked at Koizumi's somewhat nervous expression and suddenly felt like laughing. He patted the other's shoulder and said, "Relax, Mr. Koizumi. He's just an ordinary person. If it weren't for the fact that he rarely goes out, we wouldn't need to make it this complicated. Besides, we are professionals at handling this kind of thing."

Perhaps Ozawa's words were so full of confidence that they gave Koizumi a lot of courage, causing his posture to relax slightly. Seeing this, Ozawa turned to his subordinates and said, "Action in half a minute. Note: be careful with your force. The employer wants a person with an intact brain, not an idiot. Especially you, Skunk."

"Understood, Captain. I guarantee the most he'll get is broken limbs," the subordinate nicknamed Skunk replied nonchalantly.

Half a minute passed in the blink of an eye. With a gesture from Ozawa, the group tiptoed into Wang Liguo's residence.

Just as they successfully reached Wang Liguo's bedroom and were about to pick the lock.

There was a soft click.

The door opened from the inside.

The person inside was looking at them with a confused face and then asked, "Who are you?"

"Wang Liguo, right?" Ozawa reacted quickly and asked back immediately upon seeing Wang Liguo.

"Yes, I am. You haven't answered my question yet." By now, Wang Liguo had sensed something was wrong. He had been sleeping soundly and thought another Death Warriors brother was looking for him when he heard movement at the door. He had asked out of habit upon opening the door, but the other party had questioned him instead.

Although Death Warriors were refreshed by the system, they didn't have any intelligence issues. On the contrary, the higher the level, the smarter they were. In fact, low-level Death Warriors could also learn, but learning anything required talent and time.

The definition of a First-level Death Warrior is that all talents are mediocre, learning is very slow, and the cost of investment is disproportionate to the return.

The definition of a Second-level Death Soldier is being outstanding in one specific talent, but with a ceiling—the highest being proficiency—while other talents remain mediocre.

A Third-level Death Soldier is a genius in a certain talent, reaching up to the master level, while other talents are relatively average, but they learn much faster than first or second-level Death Warriors.

A Fourth-level Death Warrior has a talent level seen once in a decade; with hard work, they can reach the grandmaster level, while other talents are the same as a Third-level Death Soldier.

Hearing Wang Liguo admit his identity, a smile appeared on Ozawa's face as he thought to himself, "It really is a piece of cake. This commission is truly easy money."

Ozawa didn't reply, but gave a look to the two subordinates beside him, who understood instantly.

The two of them immediately drew their daggers and were about to step forward.

Meanwhile, Ozawa said, "Mr. Wang, weapons have no eyes. Please cooperate; someone wants to see you."

Then, Ozawa looked at Wang Liguo's expression. He loved seeing fear in others, but this time he was disappointed because no look of fear appeared on Wang Liguo's face. Instead, there was a kind of—how should I put it—yes, an excited and eager-to-try feeling.

In the next second, Ozawa suddenly realized why the other party had such an expression. Before his subordinates could even get close to Wang Liguo, and before Ozawa could even see clearly how the other party threw his punches, his two subordinates were hit like they were struck by a high-speed dump truck, or like two cannonballs fired from a barrel, instantly smashing into the hallway wall with lightning speed.

There was a dull, heavy thud, and the two subordinates slumped to the ground like deflated balls.

Then, Ozawa stared at his subordinates' faces and realized with a shock that blood was gushing from their seven orifices as if a dam had burst, and it looked like they were about to die!

Seeing this scene, Ozawa's mouth slowly formed an 'O' shape. When he looked at Wang Liguo again, his eyelids couldn't stop trembling. Nani? Taking out two mercenaries in stab-proof vests with two punches? Is this a freaking joke?! And most importantly, the opponent is a highly educated engineer!
