90: Lower Dora

"Fuck! Damn it, it must be luck. Yes, definitely luck!" After being stunned for a few seconds, Mike immediately pushed the unbelievable sensation he just felt to the back of his mind, finding an excuse for himself. After all, how could a person actually dodge a bullet?

But when he wanted to fire again, he found that the group of people who had just appeared in the sniper scope had already disappeared.

On the other side, when the sniper bullet flew over, Bodo instinctively sensed the danger. This was related to his special skill, Special Warfare. When the system bestowed skills upon Death Warriors, it also gave them countless years of experience. One could understand it as Bodo being a special operations soldier who had gone through countless battles; it was an instinct for survival on the battlefield. Death Warriors without this skill actually wouldn't have been able to dodge that shot just now. Of course, with physical fitness ten times that of an ordinary person, they wouldn't necessarily dieβ€”it would depend on the caliber of the weapon used. However, an 8.6mm sniper bullet could indeed pose a fatal threat to Death Warriors below the fourth level.

The moment Bodo was hit, he immediately dove toward a nearby cover and shouted to warn the other Death Warriors that there was a sniper.

Then Bodo looked at his wounded arm. After the bullet entered the muscle, it hit the bone. Under his superb physical protection, the bullet lost its kinetic energy and didn't tear Bodo's arm off. Instead, it was stuck in his arm like a dart. Bodo poked at the hole in his arm, and the tail of the bullet was clearly visible.

"Boss! How are you?" asked a Death Warrior crouching beside him.

"I'm fine, won't die. If it were a 12.7mm bullet, this hand would probably be done for today," Bodo replied.

Immediately after, Bodo used his right thumb and index finger to reach directly into the bullet hole on his arm, gripped the tail of the bullet, and just like that, he pulled the slug out by force. Throughout the entire process, Bodo's face didn't show a single trace of pain.

After removing the bullet, Bodo tore a piece of scrap cloth from his clothes and wrapped the wound.

Then he said to the Death Warrior beside him, "The opponent is using a sniper rifle, and our guns don't have enough range. We'll throw out a bait in a moment. I need to take him out first, otherwise, a sniper's lethality on the battlefield is too great!"

"Understood!" the Death Warrior beside him replied immediately.

Then, the two of them glanced at each other.

The Death Warrior beside Bodo grabbed a Black Brother who was shivering nearby and, amidst his terrified gaze, threw him directly into the air.

Mike's reaction this time was exceptionally fast. He was more serious than ever before, staring intently at the area where Bodo had disappeared.

When that Death Warrior threw out a surrendering Black Brother, Mike's gun had already fired!

Bang!

No accidents this time. While the Black Brother was in mid-air, a mist of blood exploded from his chest. The powerful impact sent him flying a bit further like a tattered sack before he finally hit the ground.

Mike exhaled a breath of turbid air, becoming more certain that the person just now was only lucky. How could anyone possibly dodge a bullet?

Right at that moment, Bodo charged out of cover like an arrow released from a bow, rushing toward Mike's direction at a speed that a normal person could only hope to see the back of. Moreover, not only was his speed terrifyingly fast, but his movement was also extremely professional, constantly utilizing various tactical maneuvers and cover to evade Mike's shots.

This time, Mike's brain froze again.

"Oh God, is this a fucking human??" After missing Bodo three times in a row, Mike's expression changed drastically, and he cried out in alarm.

"Calling the Commander, an unidentified creature has been found participating in the battle. Please be careful; he is coming toward my position." After discovering Bodo's abnormality, Mike reported to the commander, Jackal.

Soon, Jackal replied, "Mike, what are you talking about? What unidentified creature?"

"Commander, I don't know what to call him either. He's already dodged six of my bullets, and his physical speed is like a monster's. Oh, no, he's disappeared. Commander, wait a moment, I'll get back to you!" As Mike spoke, he kept an eye on Bodo's movements, but in the blink of an eye, Bodo vanished while passing through a mountain forest. This immediately interrupted his conversation with Jackal.

"Mike, Mike! Fuck! You brat, answer me quickly! Are you joking with me?" Hearing the panic in Mike's voice, Jackal asked urgently.

However, this loss of contact was forever.

In the dense forest, Mike felt through intuition that danger was approaching, but no matter how he observed, he couldn't see a single trace of the enemy.

Just as he wanted to slowly withdraw from the location, a gunshot rang out.

A blood hole suddenly appeared in the center of Mike's forehead, and his whole body immediately slumped weakly to the ground.

Shortly after, a series of footsteps slowly approached. Bodo, with a piece of cloth tied over his wound, walked up to Mike's body, kicked it aside, and joyfully picked up the AWM Sniper Rifle that had fallen on the ground.

As soon as he held the gun, Bodo felt a sense of familiarity, as if the man and the gun were long-lost friends.

He tested the gun skillfully, gathered all the equipment, ammunition, and supplies from Mike's body, and then stood up to leave, satisfied.

Then, with just Bodo alone and the enhancement of the sniper rifle, he completely transformed into a god of slaughter on the battlefield. With the cooperation of the other Death Warriors and the cannon fodder, whether it was the rebels or the Government Army, they were all stunned by this suddenly appearing third-party force. This force specifically targeted the leaders and officers of both sides for assassination, and even the frontline headquarters of both sides were destroyed by this force with lightning speed!

If soldiers are weapons and the headquarters is the brain, then officers are the arms that wield the weapons. Having lost both brain and arms simultaneously, the situation on the battlefield was now clear.

Night fell. Inside the rebels' headquarters, Bodo sat arrogantly in the original commander's seat, staring at the retreating soldiers of the rebels and the Government Army who were being driven here to assemble by the Death Warriors.

"Have the spoils been tallied?" Bodo asked a Second-level Death Soldier beside him who had the Accounting Proficiency skill.

"Almost. In this battle, a total of over a thousand enemies were killed, mostly officer-level figures from the rebels and the Government Army. There are about four thousand routed soldiers assembled on-site, and Death Warriors are still capturing more in various places; we should be able to take more than five thousand prisoners.

In terms of supplies, several warehouses were seized, all containing food, tents, ammunition, and the like.

As for weapons, over five thousand various firearms were seized. The good ones include American-made M4s, while the poor ones are still bolt-action rifles. Over sixty artillery pieces were captured, with mortars making up the majority and only a dozen or so heavy artillery pieces. Other items like individual rocket launchers and heavy machine guns won't be listed one by one.

Also, for heavy equipment, thirteen armored vehicles and five tanks were seized, all belonging to the Government Army."

Bodo nodded as he listened to the report from the accounting Death Warrior.

Then he took out his phone and contacted Wang Chao.

"Bodo, how's the situation?" Wang Chao asked as he picked up the phone.

"Everything is going smoothly. From now on, Boss, you are the King of Dora City!"

Hearing this, a smile appeared on Wang Chao's face.
