9: System upgrade

Qin Yang heard Zhou Kang's skepticism, smiled, and didn't argue, replying: "If you are truly interested in hiring people from my company, General Manager Zhou, you can come back with me later and meet my other employees. Whether I'm bragging or not, seeing is believing."

Seeing Qin Yang so confident, Zhou Kang pondered for a few seconds, then nodded and said: "Alright, then I'll be bothering you later, General Manager Qin."

Qin Yang said: "You're too polite."

Wei Liang, standing to the side, saw the two planning to go out and wanted to join in the fun. Just like that, after everything concluded, the group took a car to Hongbin Tower.

In the car, Qin Yang instructed Song Wu to prepare a table of good dishes and, at the same time, summoned several First-level Death Warriors to stand by. If the cooperation was finalized today, Qin Yang had a premonition that the Death Warriors system would upgrade to the third level tonight.

Upon arriving, Qin Yang led the two, Wei and Zhou, into the most luxurious private room in Hongbin Tower. At this moment, dishes were already being served at the table, and all sorts of delicacies were continuously being brought in.

"General Manager Qin, is this your place?" After sitting down, Zhou Kang looked at the luxurious decor and, having heard how others addressed him, asked.

"Mhm, just a small restaurant." Qin Yang laughed.

"Haha, Brother Qin, you're too humble. If such a large restaurant is called a small restaurant, how are other restaurant owners supposed to handle themselves?" Wei Liang chimed in jokingly.

Qin Yang smiled and began to let the two men eat. It was already nearly ten o'clock at night. Although the boxing gym provided food, it was only snacks, and no one would eat much. Their stomachs were indeed a bit hungry, so no one stood on ceremony.

But as soon as Wei and Zhou took their first bite, their eyes lit up.

"Brother Qin, I've just discovered that you are a treasure. The craftsmanship of your restaurant's chef is actually this good!" Wei Liang praised while tasting the dishes.

Zhou Kang just kept his head down and ate. Hearing Wei Liang's words, he nodded repeatedly. It must be said that both men were big bosses with net worths of hundreds of millions or billions. It is no exaggeration to say that they had seen all sorts of delicacies, but the dishes they ate here at Qin Yang's place were truly comparable to some of the top-tier banquets they had eaten before. This was also the reason for Wei Liang's surprise. After all, in this society, although there are many people, talent is equally rare, and a good chef is also a talent.

"Haha, my chef's cooking is pretty good, right? Otherwise, I wouldn't have brought you here to eat. If you think it's delicious, please support my business more in the future, you two bosses!" Qin Yang chuckled.

As soon as Qin Yang finished speaking, Zhou Kang said: "No problem. In H City, there are only a few places that suit my taste. Your food is genuinely good, and I will bring people here often in the future."

"Then thank you very much, General Manager Zhou." Qin Yang cupped his hands.

The meal lasted for nearly half an hour, and none of them drank alcohol. After eating, Qin Yang took the two of them to his office and handed them cigarettes.

"General Manager Qin, come on, let me see if you really have so many capable people under your command?" Zhou Kang exhaled a puff of smoke and urged.

Qin Yang could also tell that Zhou Kang was actually not a bad person. Perhaps because he was born into a wealthy family and used to being pampered since childhood, his personality was a bit childish. Therefore, he didn't mind his tone of voice and immediately had several First-level Death Warriors who were already prepared walk into the office.

"These are them." Qin Yang said, pointing to the six Death Warriors in front of him.

Zhou Kang stood up, circled around them, and said: "I don't see the temperament of any experts here? General Manager Qin, can I test them?"

"Of course you can. How would you like to test them, General Manager Zhou? Or should I let them demonstrate something?" Qin Yang asked in return.

Zhou Kang rubbed his chin and said: "It's not good to have a big brawl here. I'll listen to General Manager Qin and let them demonstrate something."

Qin Yang nodded and made a gesture to the Death Warriors.

Immediately, several Death Warriors went out, and soon each of them walked back in carrying a marble slab about twenty centimeters thick and one meter square.

The Death Warriors placed the marble slabs on the ground, and Qin Yang signaled for Zhou Kang to inspect them.

When Zhou Kang saw the marble slabs, he already knew Qin Yang's intention. Although this method of demonstration was cliché, it could indeed verify a person's punching power.

Zhou Kang checked the marble slabs one by one; they were indeed real, and there were no signs of damage at all.

Seeing Zhou Kang nod, two Death Warriors stood the slab upright in the air. Then, one Death Warrior suddenly punched the slab, resulting in a dull thud.

The slab shattered upon impact.

Then the remaining Death Warriors took turns doing the same. It left Zhou Kang and Wei Liang stunned. If they hadn't checked that the slabs were real, both of them would have thought this stuff was made of foam.

"Awesome!" After the shock, Zhou Kang was speechless and just gave a thumbs up in praise.

"Haha, General Manager Zhou, you believe it now, right? Our company's security has this level of strength. With their protection, you definitely won't suffer any harm." Qin Yang laughed.

"General Manager Qin is also awesome. I don't know where you found these tough guys." Zhou Kang said.

When this was mentioned, Qin Yang naturally smiled without saying anything.

Fortunately, Zhou Kang didn't ask further and immediately placed an order.

"General Manager Qin, I want four of these people. I'll offer an annual salary of 500,000 per person. What do you think?" Zhou Kang asked with some excitement.

Qin Yang calculated silently in his heart. An annual salary of 500,000 meant a daily salary of nearly 1,400, which was much better than being a manual laborer. How could he not agree? He immediately accepted.

Zhou Kang didn't talk nonsense. Without even signing a contract, he transferred 2.6 million to Qin Yang. 2 million was the salary for the four Death Warriors for one year, and 600,000 was a thank-you bonus for Qin Yang.

Qin Yang exchanged a few polite words and accepted it.

Seeing this, Wei Liang also hired two Death Warriors as bodyguards. The price was the same as Zhou Kang's, and he gave an extra 1 million as a thank-you bonus as well.

The group agreed to sign the contracts tomorrow, and Zhou Kang and Wei Liang left with their newly hired bodyguards.

Qin Yang opened his mobile banking app. Looking at the extra 4.6 million in his account, he finally felt the sensation of getting rich overnight.

After the excitement, Qin Yang opened the system. The system had indeed upgraded to the third level. However, the experience required for the next upgrade had directly jumped from 10 million to 1 billion. Qin Yang gasped; 1 billion experience meant 1 billion RMB, and he didn't know when he would be able to earn that.

He continued to look down.

After reaching level three, the system could refresh one Third-level Death Soldier every week, two Second-level Death Soldiers every day, and ten First-level Death Warriors every day.

Second-level Death Soldiers possess skills up to the Mastery level.

And the skills possessed by Third-level Death Soldiers can reach up to the Master level. At the same time, Third-level Death Soldiers will randomly refresh with advanced skills. These advanced skills refer to high-precision skills such as medical arts, manufacturing engineering, network engineering, and so on.

Moreover, the Third-level Death Soldier system also opened the First-level Death Warrior mall.

There were only five types of items in the First-level Death Warrior mall, and it was marked with "New Mall" and a "1% discount" label.

Qin Yang then curiously went to look at the items.

They were: First-level Gene Serum, priced at 100 million RMB per vial after the discount.

Gene Defect Serum formula, priced at 10 million RMB after the discount!

skill upgrade card, priced at 1 million per card after the discount!

Invisible coating material, priced at 1 billion RMB after the discount.

super carburetor, priced at 10 million RMB after the discount!
