171: Heart moves, bird remains still

"Thank you, Brother Lang! Thank you, Brother Lang! Wuwuwu, I'm sorry, Brother Lang, I really couldn't help it, wuwuwu!"

After Wanwan regained her composure, she bowed ninety degrees to thank Qin Yang, and tears streamed down her face uncontrollably; heaven knows how much she had been struggling these past few days, and today, Qin Yang's generous gifting had once again shattered her emotional defenses.

Seeing this, a meaningful smile appeared on Qin Yang's face.

He then typed: "No need to thank me. Host, how long have you been streaming?"

"Boss Lang, we've been streaming for over four hours," the Host replied.

"Hmm, you can end the shift now!" Qin Yang said again.

"Of course we can. Does Boss Lang mean you want Wanwan to go off shift?" the Host asked.

"Yes." After saying this, Qin Yang added another ten Diamond Carnivals (36,000 points).

"Let Wanwan go off shift. I can see this girl is too emotional; she's in no state to continue streaming," Qin Yang said.

"Thank you for the ten Diamond Carnivals, Boss Lang!!! Alright brother, I'll let Wanwan go off shift right now."

"Hmm, I'm heading out."

After replying, Qin Yang left the livestream room.

In the next livestream room, Qin Yang saw the Lu Family Sisters were streaming, so he clicked in.

Recently, Qin Yang had been spending more time with the Lu Family Sisters; after all, they were twins, so one had to have a bit of patience, and he had already added their contact information.

Their conversations were now filled with an ambiguous atmosphere, and he believed he would be able to win them over soon.

If others saw Qin Yang doing this, they might call it unnecessary; with Qin Yang's financial power, he could go to a high-end club and find anyone he wanted.

However, Qin Yang enjoyed the process, and it was also fulfilling his own "god-tier fan" dream from when he hadn't made it big yet.

Put it this way: what ordinary person hasn't fantasized about suddenly striking it rich, throwing money around, and living life to the fullest?

Qin Yang had the means now, so naturally, he wanted to enjoy it.

When the Lu Family Sisters saw Qin Yang enter, they both beamed with joy.

"Welcome home, Brother Lang!" the two shouted in unison.

"Hmm, did you just start streaming?" Qin Yang replied.

"That's right, Brother Lang. The younger sister overslept, so we started a bit late," Lu Yi replied.

"Hmm, sing a song to warm up the atmosphere!" Qin Yang replied.

"Okay, Brother Lang. Then we'll sing our favorite 'The Moon Shines on the Mountains' for Brother Lang."

Then, the two began to sing.

While listening to the song, Qin Yang checked their PK rank. After Qin Yang's contributions over the past few days, their rank had reached Diamond 1.

The Chinese TikTok PK ranking was divided into Bronze, Silver, Gold, Platinum, Diamond, and Peak King!

It cost quite a bit of money to level up each tier. Before Qin Yang arrived, the highest rank the sisters had reached was Platinum 1 or 2.

Now that they had reached Diamond, it was a huge surprise for them. It's no exaggeration to say that many Streamers stream for years until they retire without ever reaching the Diamond rank; it was just that difficult.

After the song finished, with Qin Yang's approval, the two began a PK match.

Because they were at the Diamond rank, the probability of them connecting with a big Streamer was high. In the first round, they were connected with a big Streamer who had thirty or forty thousand viewers in the room.

When Qin Yang saw the Streamer's name, he was stunned for a moment because he had seen this Streamer's videos before.

The Streamer was called Happy Yuan Yuan, a phenomenal cross-dressing Streamer who had risen to fame this year.

Yuan Yuan was a man, but when he cross-dressed as a woman, it's no exaggeration to say that he was more beautiful than 99% of the women Qin Yang had ever met.

Honestly, if the other party weren't a man, Qin Yang would definitely have included him as an option. That shows just how beautiful his cross-dressing was.

Regarding this Happy Yuan Yuan, after seeing his videos, Qin Yang had also watched his stream once. He could be considered a big Streamer, but his foundation was a bit lacking. He had many consumers in his room, but he lacked that one "god-tier fan" to seal the deal.

Happy Yuan Yuan was currently popular all over the internet, and the Lu Family Sisters naturally recognized him. Being able to connect with him today could be considered an unexpected surprise.

"Hello, Streamers. Are you twins?" After Yuan Yuan appeared and saw the Lu Family Sisters, he first greeted them politely and then asked with some surprise.

"Yes, yes, yes! Ah, it's Yuan Yuan! Yuan Yuan, our sisters love you so much! You are truly too beautiful!!!" Lu Xin had a more lively personality and looked like a fan meeting her idol.

"Ah, thank you, two young ladies. You two are also very beautiful!" Happy Yuan Yuan replied.

After a pause of a second or two, Happy Yuan Yuan continued: "Want to play a round, young ladies?"

"Okay! Of course. Yuan Yuan, can we follow each other after this?" Lu Xin asked.

"Sure, sure. We can play together in the future," Yuan Yuan replied. It was clear that the other party was quite easy to talk to.

Just like that, the PK began.

As expected of a big Streamer, as soon as the PK health bar appeared, the opponent's score immediately surged forward.

With the thirty-second initial gift multiplier, Yuan Yuan's score directly exceeded 200,000. You have to realize that these were all scattered votes, not just from big brothers and sisters, which shows how good a big Streamer's condition is.

This round was the Lu Family Sisters' first victory. Since Qin Yang had brought the Lu Family Sisters out for a PK, he naturally wouldn't lose face.

Qin Yangs account nickname gifted the Streamer Gemini Star Diamond Carnival * 10!

As soon as Qin Yang made his move, the score quickly surpassed the opponent's. Combined with some scattered votes in the room, the Lu Family Sisters' score reached over 400,000.

Happy Yuan Yuan wasn't surprised by the Lu Family Sisters' score; after all, they were at the Diamond rank, so having votes was a given.

Seeing the opponent overtake him, Yuan Yuan also had the motivation to solicit votes and began asking for them in the livestream room.

The big brothers and sisters were very generous. During the bonus time, all kinds of gifts like Carnivals and Chinese TikTok Airships floated across the screen. In one round of bonuses, they scored nearly 600,000 points.

Qin Yang, on the other hand, unhurriedly tapped on the Diamond Carnivals—one, two—until the score was invisible, at which point he stopped.

Because of a "Century PK" on Chinese TikTok where the amounts spent were too large and there were requirements to verify assets before PK-ing, the platform had been called out by the authorities.

Therefore, there was now a limit on gifting. Once it reached a certain level, the vote count could only be seen by the Streamers.

Qin Yang had cast over a million votes, so naturally, there was no doubt he won this round. It wasn't that Yuan Yuan's room didn't have these votes; it was just a random PK, and the big brothers and sisters in his room hadn't prepared that much.

The Lu Family Sisters jumped for joy when they saw their vote count break a million. This was the first time their vote count had broken the million mark.

After expressing their thanks, the two sides opened the connected mic.

"Impressive! You two young ladies, what reward do you want from me?" Yuan Yuan praised, then asked with a smile.

Honestly, without Yuan Yuan speaking, he was a peerless beauty. Once he opened his mouth, it completely ruined the image.

A saying from his fans described it particularly vividly: "Heart flutters, but the bird doesn't..."
