135: Humanoid Tank

Behind him, the Knife Brother couldn't stand it any longer; the boss was still watching.

He picked up a knife from the ground, wrapped some cloth around his hand, and charged forward menacingly.

The Knife Brother slashed wildly at Ye Lin, a flurry of whiteSword Light weaving a net of blades in the air, forcing Ye Lin to retreat a step.

However, such rapid, wild hacking couldn't last; after only a moment, the Knife Brother's slashes slowed.

Ye Lin seized the opportunity, lunged forward, cut through the net of blades, and struck the Knife Brother's wrist with his palm.

“Ah—”

The Knife Brother cried out in pain, his machete nearly slipping from his grasp, but luckily the cloth strip kept it in his hand.

But before he could recover, Ye Lin delivered another uppercut to his chin, a sharp crack, almost making him bite off his tongue.

The Knife Brother’s head involuntarily tilted backward, and Ye Lin, with a flash, appeared behind him, delivering a palm strike to his carotid artery.

This time, the Knife Brother couldn't withstand it and collapsed directly.

The remaining few subordinates were much simpler; Ye Lin knocked them all to the ground in a few swift moves.

When Sun Jinghua finished dealing with three subordinates and looked back, he gasped. The ground was already covered with wailing people, and the Knife Brother lay unconscious.

“Damn, are you a War God?”

Ye Lin rolled his eyes at him, “Quick, wipe your blood. You fought three and still got beaten up like this? How embarrassing.”

Sun Jinghua protested innocently, “It was a one-against-three, and they had weapons! I was already pretty impressive, okay?”

Ye Lin couldn’t be bothered with him and turned to look at Gu Teng, who surprisingly hadn't left yet.

“You go help Chen family (father and son) untie themselves first,” Ye Lin instructed Sun Jinghua.

“Sang Rong, quite bold, staying here, waiting for me to catch you?” Ye Lin said to Gu Teng with a smile.

Gu Teng looked at his subordinates lying all over the ground, his face as ugly as it could be. He snorted coldly, “A bunch of good-for-nothings, couldn't even take down a fake police officer.”

“Then you come try?” Ye Lin challenged.

A fierce glint appeared in Gu Teng’s eyes, and he said harshly, “Ye Lin, don’t think that just because you can fight, I can’t deal with you. I knew you could fight last time; did you think I wouldn’t be prepared?”

With that, he turned to his bodyguard behind him, “A Niu, it’s up to you. Don’t hold back.”

He then pointed at Sun Jinghua and Chen family (father and son) behind Ye Lin, declaring arrogantly, “Here, I don’t want to see any survivors.”

The burly man named A Niu responded with a deep grunt and strode forward menacingly.

Gu Teng, meanwhile, stood calmly at the doorway, seemingly very confident in A Niu, not flustered in the slightest.

A Niu was a little over 1.8 meters tall, wearing a very ordinary jacket, with a face full of rough features, looking like a common strongman.

But Ye Lin dared not be careless; from how he had punched that subordinate flying just now, he could tell that this man possessed great strength.

A Niu didn't run; he just walked forward with long strides. Ye Lin lightly slid one foot forward, leaning his body back slightly, adopting a fighting stance.

As A Niu approached, Ye Lin pushed off with his back foot, his body suddenly surging forward, quickly charging towards his opponent.

A Niu's pace remained unchanged, still advancing with long strides, his right fist raised. Without any fancy moves, he threw a straight punch at Ye Lin's face.

The fist, as large as a sandbag, rapidly grew in Ye Lin's vision.

No technique, good, Ye Lin's heart settled slightly.

Ye Lin dodged to the side, and A Niu’s fist brushed past his face, the wind from the punch stinging his skin—he was indeed a power-type fighter.

After A Niu’s fist passed, Ye Lin quickly brought both hands up, trapping his right arm. He twisted hard, attempting to dislocate A Niu’s elbow joint.

However, the move that had always worked failed; Ye Lin felt as if he wasn't twisting a human arm, but an iron bar.

A Niu's mouth twitched, seemingly in pain.

Then, with a roar, he changed his fist to a palm, reached out, grabbed Ye Lin's chest, and directly lifted him up.

Ye Lin’s two hands were still locked on A Niu’s right arm, and he was lifted up like a child, hanging directly from A Niu’s right arm.

A Niu's expression twisted, and with a low growl, he grabbed Ye Lin and slammed him to the ground.

Bang!

He slammed Ye Lin directly onto the concrete floor with great force.

Hiss.

Ye Lin cried out in pain. What kind of strength was this? He felt he had no room to resist; all his bones felt like they were being crushed flat.

Intense pain spread throughout his body, leaving him momentarily unable to fight back, and his hands naturally released their grip.

Immediately, a large foot came down from the air; it was A Niu’s big foot.

Ye Lin endured the pain and rolled away, barely escaping. But A Niu’s big foot followed closely, kicking Ye Lin in the ribs.

Our previously invincible Ye Lin was now pitifully kicked away like a twig, crashing into a concrete pillar in the yard.

Ye Lin felt a sweetness in his throat and spat out a mouthful of blood; this was internal bleeding.

Gu Teng watched this scene triumphantly, mocking, “Officer Ye, weren’t you very fierce? Why are you no good now, hahahaha.”

“Get up! Let me see how mighty our brave detective is.”

Ye Lin, spitting blood, fell to the ground. Sun Jinghua became anxious and shouted at Chen family (father and son), “You two step back and call the police. I’ll go help.”

Sun Jinghua was quite agile and in a few steps, he stood in front of A Niu. Without a word, he threw several straight punches at A Niu’s chest.

He had expected A Niu to dodge, but A Niu seemed certain of Sun Jinghua’s lack of strength and didn't move at all.

He simply let Sun Jinghua’s fists land on his chest.

Thud, thud, a few muffled thumps.

A Niu remained motionless, but Sun Jinghua’s fists were vibrating with pain.

Sun Jinghua looked at the burly man in front of him with a surprised expression. Was this even a human? He didn't move at all when hit, a living, breathing human tank.

As he stared in a daze, A Niu moved.

“Watch out!” Ye Lin shouted loudly.

Sun Jinghua looked up, but it was too late. A Niu’s fist slammed hard into his cheek.

Pfft!

Accompanied by a mouthful of fresh blood, Sun Jinghua was sent flying and landed heavily on the ground.

His left cheek was swollen incredibly high, even squeezing his eye into a slit.

Whoosh! A gust of wind from a punch followed, about to smash into Sun Jinghua’s head.

Just then, Ye Lin roared, springing up from the ground, and with all his might, delivered a side kick to A Niu’s waist.

With Ye Lin’s strength and leg technique, even a human machine like A Niu stumbled, retreating two steps.

But that was all.

A Niu seemed enraged by Ye Lin’s kick. He turned, bared his teeth at Ye Lin, flexed his arms, roared, and charged directly forward.

Bang!

A Niu, like a high-speed tank, crashed directly into Ye Lin, a massive force sending Ye Lin flying straight back, sticking to the courtyard wall like a pancake.
